Childlessness in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria

Childlessness in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria Abstract The main goal of this thesis is to examine and compare the state of childlessness in the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria. In Germany particularly, childlessness has become a phenomenon and a society-wide issue. Austria, where childlessness is at a high level in comparison with other European countries is in a similar situation. Data analysis in this thesis showed that childlessness is more widespread in the former West Germany and Austria than in the Czech Republic and former East Germany. This difference is caused, among other things, by the pro-natal policies adopted in the former communist countries which led to a temporary increase in total fertility rate. Further, the thesis deals with the perception of parenthood and childlessness in society on the basis of the European Values Study 2008 international survey and with the relationship between the ideal and preferred number of children on the basis of the Eurobarometer 2006 international survey. The results of the surveys show that childlessness cannot be considered as a new kind of lifestyle, and that the preferred family form still involves two children. Communication of school with the use of ICT School Information Chanel

This final bachelor thesis deals with the use of information - communication technologies in a daily school life, it focuses on a new way of communication particularly with a young generation via the video clips which are presented on largescreen displays placed at schools in terms of the project School Information Channel (SIK) and the application of this project to external and internal school's communication. The current application of the project School Information Channel (SIK) is limited to a passive presentation of the video clips consisting of social pathological phenomenons' prevention. If the school management shows sufficient interest in free broadcasting time at its schools the large-screen displays of the School Information Channel project (SIK) can be used to enrich the existing informational channels in the internal and external school's communication.

Tax base of corporate income tax

74 Summary Income Tax Base of Legal Persons Legal regulation of tax base in our conditions is very complex and instable, because tax laws are being adjusted every year. The biggest problem in my opinion are references to Accountancy Act, because the amendments of this act have brought many new elements to accounting, that result in an inevitable need of performing non- accounting operations during the calculation of tax base for legal persons. Furthermore, I am not sure, whether the current tendency of decreasing the tax rate, can be sustained, particularly in the conditions of the present complicated economic situation. The impact on public budgets in the Czech Republic is the question. It is positive, when the setup of tax law reflects the current situation, but I think that too frequent changes to the taxation system - as they were done in the last years - do not suit the legal certainty. It is necessary to introduce regulation, that will be stable and simpler, because the present Income Tax Act is confused and unnecessarily complicated. I think that the proposal of a new Income Act, in its current shape, gives hope for taking the right direction. SELECTED ASPECTS OF THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE GOALS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONVENTION ON THE PROHIBITION OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction ("Convention") is a means of comprehensive ban of chemical weapons covering the whole category of these weapons of mass destruction. There are many factors having impact on effective enforcement of the goals and requirements of the Convention, namely its implementation in States Parties (particularly legislative), international cooperation and assistance, overcoming political stumbling blocks related to implementing the Convention in practice and other, often unpredictable factors resulting from law enforcement in international context. The aim of this thesis is, apart from a brief introduction into the history of the ban on chemical weapons, related activities within the context of international law and the existing status of the ban, to point out some problematic issues in this field which have the potential of hampering the goal of the Convention (due to the limited extent hereof without striving for complete coverage of the topic). The selected issues of adoption

Adoption sets up a legal kinship and imitates biological relations. That is why adoption holds a unique position in law. I chose this topic because of its particularity and importance of adoption. Due to the current recodification the adoption has undergone great changes which brought new issues that scientific work is trying to solve. As the title indicates, my diploma thesis deals with two particular problems of adoption. The text is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is rather short and serves as an introduction to the adoption theme. It briefly describes the purpose of adoption, its effects, classification and legislation. It is a base for the following chapters. The first issue is the current legislation of adoption conditions. After more than sixty years of adoption evolution as a substitute child care form, the legislation and legal theory developed and stabilized. The chapter deals with all conditions and classifies them. The new Civil Codex 89/2012 Statute Book of the Czech Republic accepts most of the statutes and developes them so the adoption keeps its importance. As the second issue I chose the adoption of adult. Jean-Philippe Toussaint and New novel

This thesis deals with the question whether Jean-Philippe Toussaint's work resembles the work of the authors of the New novel, particularly Alain Robbe-Grillet. The thesis initiates with the topics covered by the New Novel: the main ideas and their realization and characteristics of the new writing style. This is followed by the analysis of a contemporary Belgian author, Jean-Philippe Toussaint. There is a short introduction of his life and character, his work and reasons why he is so popular and how he became a success. The main point of this part is the analysis of his writing style and its development from his early novels up to his present work. This thesis tries to look into the similarities and differences of J.-P. Toussaint's work and the work of the authors of the New novel. It mainly focuses on the use of objects, what role they play in Toussaint's novels, how they are described and the importance of their description for understanding the plot. The analysis begins with an introduction to the 1950s' new wave authors, later called the authors of the New novel, and their complaints aimed at the classical 19th century novel. Land-use planning and it's present practices in Czech republic - Ústí nad Labem as an example

The content of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the town and country planning in the Czech Republic, which is then particularly demonstrated on the territorial planning of Ústí nad Labem. The regional capital has now initiated the creation of a new municipal plan at the instance of itself. Furthermore, from its position it intervenes in other town-planning documentation. In the theoretical part the building act n.50/1976 Coll. is discussed along with its amendment which is the act n.183/2006 Coll. This part of the thesis also comprises the evaluation of an impact these acts would practically have on the territorial planning. The specific town-planning documentation is subsequently summarized in the practical part. The application of the regulation plan is then illustrated on the revitalization of the square in the centre of the town

Nursing care of the patient treated by the pancreatic islets transplantation

Cílem mojí bakaláská práce je nastínit klinické a zejména ošetovatelské aspekty pée o pacienta podstupujícího zatím ponkud nezvyklý zpsob léby diabetu 1. typu - transplantaci Langerhansových ostrvk. Práce se zamuje na lébu diabetu 1. typu s labilním prbhem. Jako píklad sleduji pacienta, který v nedávné dob s úspchem podstoupil tento nový zpsob léby. V klinické ásti popisuji strun historii poznávání diabetu, endokrinní funkci pankreatu a pak etiopatogenezi, imunogenetiku, klinický obraz, diagnostiku, a terapii diabetu 1. typu a jeho komplikací. Dále popisuji specifika labilní formy tohoto onemocnní a možnosti léebné intervence. V ošetovatelské ásti analyzuji prostednictvím ošetovatelského modelu Marjory Gordonové poteby pacienta podstupujícího takový výkon. Vytváím plán pée a popisuji jeho realizaci v samotný den provedení transplantace Langerhansových ostrvk. Dále zde eším problematiku dlouhodobé pée, edukace a psychosociálního obrazu pacienta.

Care for employees, company policy

The diploma thesis deal with care for employees and the company policy. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of labor law, which are necessary for understanding the issues, defines current applicable legislation relating to employees care area and then processes general level the care of employees. It explains terms of mandatory, contractual and voluntary care based on laws, regulations and personnel employer policy. Company policy specifies focus and use of personnel strategy based on the competence of the personnel department. It is focused on motivation of employees, their company education and development and evaluation and remuneration through achieved performance. The practical part analyses care for employees who work in the public sector, particularly in the Czech telecommunications office. The conclusion summarized all the discussed issues and contained a set of proposals on how to improve the current situation in company.

Comenius?s Orbis Sensualium Pictus through the Eyes of the Pupils of the Lower Grades of Primary Schools

The diploma work is divided into two parts. In the first part which is a theoretical one, I have been focused on the analysis of Komensky's thoughts, on the issues of human activity, on the didactical principles, and particularly on the object teaching which culminated later on in the work Scltola ludus. Further my work deals with the development and with the analysis of the factually language textbooks in the context with life cycle of Jan Amos Komensky, with the position of work Orbis sensualium pictus among these textbooks and with the analysis of the own text. In the second part which is a practical one, I dealt with the selection of seven chapters of the work Orbis sensualium pictus through which I intended to reach an understanding with Komensky epoch and to perform a contemporary educational subjectmatter. A new Orbis pictus has been created by pupils, who fitted it with a new up-to-date content and continued the original themes of Komensky. As a method of my work I opted a long term project having duration one month. Being carried out with pupils of first class of the primary school.
