Application of theories of motivation in project management

This paper is compound of two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part are defined the main terms from the theory of motivation and described general motivation theories and theories of work motivation. There are also mentioned basic forms of organization structures used in project management and shortly described some areas of project management, the biggest part is focused on the advanteges and disadventages of teamwork and it's problems in praxis. In the practical part there are compared described theories from two points of view, the difficulties in their practical use, and the concrete possibilities of their application in different areas of project management. Based on this comparison three theories are chosen as most suitable for regulation of motivational management of employees working in the projects. At the end of this part, there is interview with a project manager.

This bachelor thesis deals with ways of motivation and stimulation of employees, which is one of the main human resources elements in business that every manager and CEO has to observe very closely. To start with, the thesis presents a theoretical outline of the subject that ranges from defining the basic HR terms and theories to a more detailed and specific listing of possible incentive methods. It also describes the progress of the research that was performed. This introduction is followed by the practical part which starts with a brief description of the company in which a research was executed in order to assess the level of motivation and stimulation in this particular company. In conclusion, an analysis of predicted results is presented together with recommended suggestions that are universally applicable in other business units.

This bachelor thesis is concerned with employees motivation in one of a prague hotel. The theory is focused mainly on a motivation, a stimulation and a satisfaction durinig a procedure. The point of the practical part is an analysis of the motivation system and employees satisfaction in the hotel. The resulting information is explicated. For the parts with the worst findings, there are some recommendations suggested due to improvement of the present motivation system.

There are many factors around us that change our satisfaction, motivation and decisions. We all spend much time at work during our lifes and that is why I want to do a research of working satisfaction. I will realize this research by using a list of questions and oral interview in a company that employs about 60 people. I will focus on factors - wage, working environment, interpersonal relations - and their impact on the satisfaction rate. Main goal of my work is to improve care of eployees by proposing a recommendation to management of the company that may lead to lower fluctuation of employees, more effective work and higher prosperity of the company.
Analysis of the working satisfaction in a company

The thesis contains is to identify the fundamental factors of working satisfaction at the base of theoretical knowledge, to make an analysis of the working satisfaction in the chosen company and to identify working factors, which evoke satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Correctional measures are proposed at the base of the outcomes of the research. For the research is used a questionnaire survey and the respondents are asked about the satisfaction with the remuneration, the content of work, the human relations, working conditions, possibilities of further education and personal development and career growth. They are also asked about their personal opinion of the company and the reasons for working in there.

It's focused mainly on the motivation of empolyees, as a very important part of human resources process, and factors of motivation such as instruments leading to satisfaction of employees and success of the company. The theory engages with a description of human resources activities, a defination of the motivation, motivation resources and motivation factors in the business world. In the practical part I analyse the motivation of employees in the AXA company, who became a favourite employer of a young generation. The main object of my thesis is to identify the interest in this job. And there is another object to analyse how to keep a loyality of AXAs' employees.
