In his RIGHTS ci I would like to especially provide a comprehensive overview of the fact u to S not too far studied, the issue of and of course the pay and preventive measures taken against formation this kind of diabetic complications.

Improving evolutionary algorithms using probability mixture models
Bajer, Lukáš ; Kovářík, Oleg (referee) ; Holeňa, Martin (advisor)
Evolutionary, and especially genetic algorithms have become one of the most successful methods for the optimization of empirical objective functions. However, in many engineering applications, evaluation of the empirical fitness function can be very time consuming or cost a considerable amount of money. In this article, we employ a surrogate model of the original fitness function which serves as a fast approximation whenever needed. First, we intended to use finite mixture models, but radial basis function networks was finally used as a particular surrogate model because of implementability. With this method, much larger populations or several generations can be simulated without waiting for expensive objective function evaluation. As a result, faster convergence in terms of the number of the original empirical fitness evaluations is achieved.

Přechod režimů v probublávaných raktorech: Vliv návrhových parametrů a vlastností kapalné fáze
Fialová, Marie ; Drahoš, Jiří
The experimental data show that low viscosity can stabilize the homogeneous bubbling regime whereas moderate viscosities supress formation of homogeneous bubbling regime above a certain critical value of the viscosity. The dependence of critical gas holdup on viscosity of the solution exhibits a maximum at low values of viscosity.

Australian cultural identity as a symbolic construction
Šafaříková, Jana ; Soukup, Martin (referee) ; Soukup, Václav (advisor)
Despite its geographical position within the Asia-Pacific region, Australia puts a great deal of effort into recreating a cultural environment that would resemble the one of Europe and the United States, rather than the one of its neighbouring countries. Australia's cultural identity, however, due to the immigrant past of its very diverse population, have had to be invented from scratch during the past two centuries, and the process of its formation continues to these days. This gives us an exceptional opportunity to study the processes of cultural identity construction in an almost direct transmission. Based on the bibliographical research, the thesis assumes that the roots can be identified in the following areas: (1) cultural traditions of the Australian Aboriginal societies, (2) recent cultural stereotypes that emerged during the past two centuries, and (3) specific natural and climatic conditions coupled with the presence of unique animal and plant species. This thesis will focus on the broadest, yet most significant area: Aboriginal culture in both its past and present state, and on its existence within the context of contemporary Australian society. The area of contemporary cultural stereotypes, of which many are related to Aboriginal cultural tradition, will also be briefly discussed. Australian...

XSLT Implementation in Relational Database Environment
Kmoch, Ondřej
XML is widely used format for storing all kinds of data and XSLT standard represents a standardized way, how to transform a XML document to a di erent structure. Many XSLT implementation has been introduced, but the most of them uses an in-memory representation of the transformed XML document. The implementation done in this thesis uses the relational database engine to store processed document and takes advantages of SQL to evaluate XPath expressions used by XSLT. First, importing source XML document into the generic relational mapping is described. For processing XPath expressions, the XPath to SQL convertor is introduced. Lastly, the processing of XSLT stylesheets by relational database engine is shown.

Essential tools for developing web applications
Ševčík, Petr ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Chudán, David (referee)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to problems of creating web applications using XML files for data storing. The main mission of thesis is to demonstrate XML language usage in these applications and to introduce a reader with another important languages for development of these applications. This thesis is trying to offer a complex view of this problem. Because success of application largely relies on the fact how easily the applacation can be found by potential users of the web, the thesis describes how can be web sites indexed by search engines. There are two main parts of this bachelor thesis: teoretical and practical. The first chapter describes HTML language with accent on his features that can be used for cooperation with web applications. The second chapter is devoted to XML markup language. Third chapter is about Dublin Core metadata standard which can be used with web applications to ease searching of electronical sources. The fourth chapter describes indexing of web pages by search engines and the following fifth chapter describes advanced searching with search engine Google, that can be used for detection if search engine optimization was successfull and if web page is findable. The sixth chapter dedicated to practical part of this thesis. This part describes developed web application programmed in PHP language. This application works with XML file via DOM and SimpleXML interfaces. Interfaces are compared to each other. This chapter also offer some guides describing how to implement some usefull functions in web application.

[13:10:23] Lenka Weingartová: Website auditing and its influence on competitive strength of organizations
Bacík, Jan ; Molnár, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Drašnar, Jindřich (referee)
The main purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyse the extent to which is the use of internet websites exploited by logistic companies. After executing an audit, the determined results are evaluated and some correct solutions are proposed. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. The theoretical section is concerned with essential aspects of high-quality websites. These aspects are usability, accessibility, search engine optimization, technical design and graphical design. These were the foundations for creating an audit framework, which was then used for analysing individual websites. The practical section consists of a detailed audit of a logistic company. It also contains user testing which is based on observing randomly selected respondents. After the detailed audit, the summary of individual audits follows. The output of this thesis is an overview of the website presentation quality of the logistic companies with varying size. The main contribution of this diploma thesis is a complex survey and status comparison of the logistic companies' websites.

The Caucasian Jews
Prokopcová, Ludmila ; Nosek, Bedřich (advisor) ; Holubová, Markéta (referee)
Diploma thesis "The Caucasian Jews"deals with the population of Jews in the area of Caucasus. The thesis is focused on the history with emphasis on the Khazar period and also deals with the issue of constituent Jewish groups to present situation, concentrated on the Mountain Jews. The diploma work concentrates all available sources and tries to create the comprehensive treatise focused on history and development of Jewish population. The beginning is focused on the rarities of the Caucasian region (e.g. very unusual ethnic and language structure) which affect whole population without reference to religion. The next part deals with history and the crucial point is the Khazar Empire and following development of regional Jewish population, including all Jewish groups. I also incorporated the results of the most recent genetic researches that are focused on the connection between Caucasian Jews and Ashkenazim. The last part is fully concentrated on history and folklore of the Mountain Jews that are the largest original group in the region.
