Comparative study of closely related \kur{Asteraceae} species with different invasive status
ŠAFARČÍKOVÁ, Simona
Complex of 4 closely related Asteraceae species with different invasive status (native Bidens tripartita, casual aliens Cosmos bipinnatus, Coreopis tinctoria and invasive alien Bidens frondosa) was studied to clarify the invasive success of Bidens frondosa and to assess the invasive potential of both unsuccessful aliens. Among studied characteristics were included: reproductive traits (germination in different regimes, seed viability and seed production), growth characteristics (relative growth rate, biomass production and height of adult plants), tolerance to drought and competitive ability. The apllied part was focused on the impact of Bidens frondosa on species diversity of invaded communities.

Presented Bachelor Thesis is targeted on the topic of hazardous 2-nitrofluorene (NF), which is known as one of the markers of the presence of nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. This Thesis summarizes the current knowledge about the formation of this xenobiotic, its occurrence and transport in living and working environment, and about its negative effects on living organisms, especially on their DNA. These findings obtained upon the in vivo investigations are compared in this Thesis with information obtained using electrochemical DNA biosensors, which represent very promising in vitro alternative to the study of processes proceeding in living organisms upon the interaction of their DNA with the xenobiotic. NF is mainly released to the atmosphere through the exhaust gases of diesel and gasoline engines. It is adsorbed onto solid particulate matters, through which it is spread over long distances and can enter the air passages of animals. Through an atmospheric fall-out, NF contaminates waters and soils, where it is transported together with other nutrients and food to plants and animals; by consummation of such organisms, it can finally enter the body of higher animals and the human. Rousseau and his Influnce on the French Revolution

The graduation thesis focuses on the evaluation of Rousseau's legacy. It is based on the confrontation of two adverse pictures of his ideas. The first image sees Rousseau as a thinker who prepared with his original concepts fertile ground for diverse undemocratic regimes and ideologies. These always declare their allegiance to the loftiest ideals but only to perpetrate the biggest crimes and to deprive people of their liberty. The second image sees in Rousseau an uncompromising critic of social injustice who saw the only possibility for redemption in liberty and equality. In this case he was one of the most important thinkers who inspired people on the road to the victory of democracy and an author whose original ideas still keep to inspire and to fascinate. I argue in favor of the second picture. Rousseau's critique of the moral crisis is based on the disunity of modern social man. This disunity stems from the incessant conflict between our natural nature and the social state. Rousseau saw the only solution in the adaptation of the original nature to the new social state. This can be achieved only through an affective bond to a political whole. Just so can man keep his liberty which represents the basic value of his existence. In society it is no more a case of absolute freedom but of conscious obedience...

Implementation of methods of critical thinking in teaching photosynthesis

This study discuss two phenomenones. The first phenomenon is photosynthesis; this process played a key role in the emergence of life and is necessary to maintain a various life on our Earth. Photosynthesis enables plants to use a bottomless supply of solar energy to produce organic substance and release oxygen. The second phenomenon is critical thinking; the ability to sort and evaluate new information and form "your" own opinion indispensable ability for modern human. In a theoretical part of the study is dealt with term critical thinking, teaching methods of critical thinking and photosynthesis of biological and didactic point of view. In a practical part of the study is dealt with compilation and verification materials for thematic unit of photosynthesis, which would lead to the development of critical thinking of high school pupils (students). Furthermore in the practical part is a questionnaire survey, which is evaluated existing using of methods of critical thinking at biology teachers at high schools and is analyzed their teaching methods to the topic of photosynthesis. In the study is dealt with processing the topic of photosynthesis in selected high school textbooks.

This Master's Thesis deals with the education and development of employees in the company NATE --nápojová technika a.s., which is a modern and flexible company active in the engineering industry. The aim is to analyze the existing system of education in this organization and the results of a questionnaire survey conducted to design and recommend measures to improve the current situation. The theoretical part looks into identifying the basic concepts related to staff training, particularly describing the systematic training and to a lesser extent, the financial cost of education in society. The practical part contains the characteristics of the company, description of the education system and a summary of the views of employees resulting from own research and suggestions for possible solutions.

One of the important parts illustrates the selected representative toxic plants that occur and can be found in our lands, in addition their usage from the antique periods till today. Collaboration movement of the Protectorate president Emil Hácha

This thesis deals with the conservatively authoritarian collaboration movement led by the so-called State President of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, Emil Hácha, who belongs to the controversial figures of our modern history. The thesis is concerned with Hácha's ideological orientation as a radical conservative and with the historicist concept of the Czech statehood as the two main bases of his approach to collaboration on whose grounds the policy of actual cooperation with the Nazi occupiers was realised. In connection with Hácha's specific type of collaboration, emphasis is placed on his negative relationship with the first independent Czechoslovak Republic and its liberal democratic regime, and, on the other hand, on his friendly relationship with the Greater German Reich and supra-state systems in general. In order to demonstrate the practice of E. Hácha's policies, attention is paid to the President's and his supporters' loyal pro-German speeches, activities of the organisations founded by Hácha -- Národní souručenství (National Community) and Český svaz pro spolupráci s Němci (Czech Union for Cooperation with Germans) -- and Hácha's attitude towards the Czech resistance movement. The thesis also depicts the change of Hácha's leading position in the autonomous administration of the Protectorate in connection with the Nazi intentions that were put into practice in the Czech area from his election to the end of the war. Another aim of the thesis, in order to assess in detail the form of the President's pro-German cooperation, is to compare Hácha's group with the Czech fascist movement, and the collaborating journalists around E. Moravec. The primary focus is on the ideological conflict and political struggle for power among the collaborative movements, their different attitudes to the German occupation administration, and their exploitability by Nazi policies in the Protectorate. The final part of the thesis deals with opinions of contemporary society on E. Hácha's Protectorate policies, including reactions of the resistance at home and abroad. On this basis, the post-war statements given by the representatives of Hácha's collaboration movement to the National Court in the process of "national cleansing" are compared with their actual activities during the time of the occupation. The thesis draws from archive materials, contemporary printed sources, and scholarly literature that covers the topic of collaboration in the Protectorate.

The subject of this diploma thesis is engineering design of the sediment conveyer. Conveyer is instrumental to total emptying of sediment silo that is situated in a sewage treatment plant. Proposed construction has to fulfill the specified functional requirements and parameters. Parts of solution are also necessary analytical and FEM calculations.

New learned compound elements in French

The topic of this thesis is "New confixes in French". This thesis is divided into two main parts: theoretical and analytical. The first part is theoretical and describes the historical development of "confixation" (learned compounding) as well as different theories and approaches to the word formation process. This part also defines "confixation" to other word formation processes (derivation and composition) and the structural component of "confixation" - a "confix". The second part is analytical and deals with specific learned stems (confixes) and learned compounding. The study material for this part of the thesis has been gained by the data excerption from the corpus Sketch Engine. The sample excerpted from the corpus is the subject of the analysis. The analysis focuses on the classic and modern confixes and their typology: classification of confixes according to the position in the learned compounding, or according to the origin, etc. The analysis also treats the morphological categories of learned compounding and their internal structure. The main focus is drawn to modern confixes that were created mostly by the change of meaning of the classic confix. This part deals with the newly created confixes in French that do not have the direct Greek or Latin base. These are mostly loanwords from English. The main aim of present thesis is to identify newly created confix compounds in comtemporary French.

This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of device for precise measurement of 1000 A alternate current. This thesis theoretically discusses the possibilities of conventional solutions, such as current transformers, as well as modern methods in the form of current sensors. The output of this thesis is a solution of problems with accuracy and discussion of other possible ways to reduce systematic error. The thesis discusses structure of the current transformer, the digitalizing of the signal and its usage as an input for engineering units. The device is then tested for final accuracy.
