Přístavy ve starém Egyptě
Šichan, Daniel ; Krejčí, Jaromír (advisor) ; Bareš, Ladislav (referee)
The work deals with landing facilities in ancient Egypt, both in the Nile Valley and in coastal areas. The aim has been to collect and interpret written, iconographic and archaeological evidence from the Early Dynastic to the Late Periods. The material is presented chronologically and individual groups of sources are arranged by type (written, archaeological and iconographic). The knowledge thus obtained has then been used to form a comprehensive overview of the development, function, importance and organization of harbour/port facilities in ancient Egypt. The main problem of the study of landing facilities in ancient Egypt lies in the extreme fragmentation of sources which makes it impossible to provide a continuous picture of the development of the subject and which raises as many questions as answers. The best preserved group of sources is written evidence, followed by information obtained by archaeology. The least informative is iconographic evidence. Although the majority of these sources are relatively straightforward to interpret, there are cases where interpretation is speculative. A fundamental question has arisen during this study. It is the relationship of the ancient Egyptians themselves to the facilities which undoubtedly played a significant role in the life of the inhabitants of the...

Metamorphic and structural record of the Gemer and Vepor Unit contact zone in the Central West Carpathians
Novotná, Nikol ; Jeřábek, Petr (advisor) ; Janák, Marian (referee)
The Central West Carpathians represents a crustal-scale thrust sheet stack formed by three major basement units, the Gemer, Vepor and Tatra. The basement of structurally middle Vepor Unit is dominated by Carboniferous granitoids while the upper Gemer Unit consists mainly of Lower Palaeozoic volcano-sedimentary complexes. Both units are overlain by Late Palaeozoic to Mesozoic cover sequences. During the Alpine orogenic event of Cretaceous age, the Vepor Unit was first buried during the northward overthrusting of the Gemer Unit and later exhumed during the eastward lateral escape of the Gemer. Alpine metamorphic conditions reached generally amphibolite facies conditions in the Vepor and greenschist facies conditions in the Gemer. In this work we concentrate on tectono-metamorphic record within the rock complexes incorporated into the imbricated structure of the Vepor-Gemer Contact Zone. The Vepor basement schists were affected by Variscan and Alpine regional metamorphism of medium grade. The age of metamorphism was confirmed by the Sm/Nd garnet dating (355±41 Ma - Variscan, 115±24 Ma -Alpine). The Variscan metamorphic assemblage of garnet-biotite-plagioclase is mainly preserved closer to the contact with leucogranite which crosscuts Variscan metamorphic fabric. The schists and leucogranite are...

Špátová, Ingrid ; Janák, Jiří (advisor) ; Vymětalová Hrabáková, Eva (referee)
7 Summary Kultická hudba a zpěv ve starém Egyptě Cultish music and chant in Ancient Egypt Ingrid Špátová, DiS. Music, although this term didn't exist in Ancient Egypt, has played a very importatnt role in the common and cultish Egyptian life. How Egyptian music sounded, can be just guessed, but some characteristics have been preserved on Coptic church. Egyptians probably used the pentatonic scale. Their musical tuning and performance had to observe strict rules to keep order of maat. One of the most important sphere of Egyptian cult have been funerary rituals, including processions with music and lamentations. A fundamental significance in funerary and temple cult have had women musicians, especially priestesses and chantresses of Hathor shemayet. They served to numerous deities, male and female, and they belonged to high- ranking families or to families of the high priests. There were several deities directly connected with music. Gods with the closest connections to musicians and deities with musical attributes were for example Hathor (lately unified with Isis), Usir, Bes, Meret, Hathor's son Ihy, Thovt, Bastet or Ptah. Temple musicians made offering and performances to deities about three or four times a day. Ancient musical instruments can be sorted to four groups: idiophones (musical instruments making...

Jan Antonín Reichenauer - Church music with Regards to Litanies
Semerád, Vojtěch ; Stříteská, Leona (referee) ; Hurníková, Kateřina (advisor)
8. Summary Jan Antonin Reichenauer was a prominent Prague composer in the first third of the eighteenth century. Although church music forms a fundamental part of his compositional output, he was also a renowned composer of instrumental works. Liturgical compositions, masses, motets, offertories, sacred arias, litanies and vespers, frequently inaccurately marked with the name of the composer (Reichenaur, Reichenau), were performed by church choirs both in Prague and beyond. In addition to Czech music collections and archives (the Prague Castle Archive, the Music Collection ofthe Knights of the Cross with the Red Star, compositions from monastery collections assembled in the Czech Museum of Music) many instrumental compositions have been preserved in Dresden, Wiesentheid, Darmstadt and Vratislav. Reichenauer's work was influenced by the Neopolitan School of the first half of the eighteenth century, particularly by the works ofF. Durant a D. Sarr. Very little is known about his life. I found a lot of information in the church records of christenings and deaths in Prague's Little Quarter. Evidence of his activities in Prague as a composer of instrumental and church music in the aristocratic ensemble of Count Vac1av Morzin dates from about the year 1723. Concurrently with his position as composer to the...

Protection of Right to Fair Trial in Relation to Preliminary Ruling Proceedings
Němečková, Petra ; Tomášek, Michal (advisor) ; Král, Richard (referee) ; Smolek, Martin (referee)
v anglickém jazyce - English abstract Protection of Right to Fair Trial in Relation to Preliminary Ruling Proceedings Right to fair trial is one of fundamental human rights, which enables individuals to effectively invoke their rights and freedoms before a lawful, impartial and independent court. In Europe, the protection of this right is guaranteed at a multi-layer level, whose layers interact: first layer is formed by constitutional orders of individual States, second layer by institutions of European Union, in particular the Court of Justice of the European Union, and a third one, that of the European Court for Human Rights. In the European Union, the Treaties have introduced the mechanism of preliminary ruling with the aim of preserving unity within the Union and of ensuring coherent interpretation and application of European law by the courts of the Member States. Preliminary ruling proceedings ensure effective cooperation between national courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Art. 267 TFEU provides for an obligation to request a preliminary ruling for national courts of last instance (if none of the CILFIT case law conditions is met). Breach of this obligation may entail violation of right to fair trial at all three layers of human rights protection in Europe. Each European...
