Nurse?s role in the care of patiens suffering from disfunction of lower urinary tract.

The role of a nurse in the care of patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract is one of the most urgent topics of modern urology, gynaecology and neurology. With regard to the latest results of epidemiological studies pointing out high prevalence in the population this problem has been in the centre of attention recently. Dysfunction of lower urinary tract is defined as a complex of symptoms. A quantitative research was performed to obtain the necessary information, employing the method of questioning with the technique of non-standardized interview. 8 patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract and 8 nurses working at urological wards and outpatient departments in the South Bohemian Region were invited to participate. The following goals were set to obtain the necessary information: 1. To find out how patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract gain information. 2. To find out how well patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract are informed. 3. To point out the role of a nurse in the care of patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract. The following research questions were set to reach the goals: 1. How do patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract gain information? 2. What information is available to patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract? 3. In what activities do nurses participate in the care about patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract? The research has shown that the population is not well informed about this dysfunction. If the complex of symptoms occurs the affected persons seek help with general practitioners, gynaecologists or paediatricians and if the problems endure they are sent to a check up at a urological department. However there are lots of patients who procrastinate to go to a check up for months or even years. The role of a nurse in the care of these patients was also examined among experienced staff. The results may help nurses improve the quality of the care provided to patients with dysfunction of lower urinary tract. The obtained information may also point out the mistakes that should be avoided in cooperation of a nurse with a patient; the information from the research may serve for preparation of an educational plan.

'The thesis "Alfred Hugenberg and his media concern" describes the life of Alfred Hugenberg, his political activity and the formation of media concern. Thesis is devoted to the individual life stages of Hugenberg, and describes intellectual background of his youth and his career beginnings. The period of his greatest political success, when he became a chairman of the German Nationalist People's Party (DNVP) in 1928 and later a minister of economy, agriculture and nutrition in Hitler's cabinet, is also described in detail. The following chapter illustrates his life period during war and after war, when Hugenberg loses his political power and seeks primarily to protect his property and achieve a "moral cleansing". Thesis also shows detailed treatises on the mental and materialistic basics of Hugenberg's concern and provides an itemized illustration of its progressive construction. Concurrently, the function of individual parts of the concern, its financial background and position inside the media market during the period of Weimar Republic are described. Comprehensive picture of the life of Alfred Hugenberg and his media concern is incorporated into the contemporary context however, particularly his collaboration with Adolph Hitler takes certain attention. Politicizing Sexualities: Mobilization practices and networking within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid

This ethnographic study intends to explain the recent mobilization practices within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid in reference to the strategic use of identity and networking in collective action. It describes the Spanish movement as an ideologically polarized heterogeneous aggregate. The active challenging groups criticize the dominant part of the movement for giving up its original message of sexual liberation and diluting it in consumerism by supporting capitalist tendencies and the power of leading political parties. Via launching protest campaigns and collaborating in internationally supported networks with other ideologically related social movement communities, the challenging groups demand civil rights for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or identity. They mobilize upon the collective identity of "precariousness" while integrating elements of queer and transgender theory into their radical leftist oriented politics in order to transform the Spanish society. By bringing on new critical ideas and adherents, the success of the leftist oriented challenging groups has an impact on the direction of the politics of the dominant group, which thereby is forced to adopt such ideas into their politics. Práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou v souvislosti se sociální politikou, jejími počátky, vývojem a současnými tendencemi. Dále charakterizuje základní dokumenty sociální politiky a klíčové principy Evropské strategie zaměstnanosti. Praktická část je zaměřena na jeden z programů spolufinancovaných z evropských fondů, konkrétně z Evropského sociálního fondu. Program Iniciativy Společenství EQUAL implementovaný v ČR se prostřednictvím vytvořených partnerství snaží nalézt a vyvinout inovativní nástroje boje proti diskriminaci na trhu práce. Cílem práce je zhodnocení tohoto programu, jeho implementace a následná realizace a v neposlední řadě také identifikování námětů a možných prostorů pro efektivnější spolupráci zainteresovaných subjektů za účelem dosažení cílů programu.

The NGO'and Prague 7 City District in the Area of Providing the Drug Prevention Services

The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the system of cooperation between the NGOs and Prague 7 City district on the field of providing the services of anti-drug prevention. In September 2008, the pilot project of Prague centre of primary prevention was starteed. If the project is successfully realised , it is expected, hat the cooperation between the NGOs and particular Prague city districts will be systematized. Firstly , the thesis briefly introduces the activities and the status of two workers, who are responsible for for the collabaration with the NGOs, that provide the preventional activities. These workers are: the school methodist of drug prevention and the anti-drugs coordinator. Then the attention is paid to thier "anchorage" within the scheme of anti-drugs politics in the Czech Republic and their relationship with the NGOs. The following part of the thesis is devoted to the process of the certification, that is an important instrument for the NGOs to get the money from the state budget. One of the chapters deals with the laws, strategical and methodical documents, that refer to the implementation of the anti-drugs prevention. I chose two organizations to make a survey with them. Cross-border cooperation as one of the factors of development

The beginning of the work describes problems of the border regions in general. It outlines the opportunities for development of these areas and mentions possibilities that are offered by European Union within the framework of economic and social cohesion. It also briefly mentions the Financial Mechanism of EEA and Norway. Although, the list is not exhaustive, it gives a picture of what options the regions have. Another part of the work is solely dedicated to cross-border cooperation in the Czech-Saxon border area in light of European subsidies. It compares the previous and the current period in terms of objectives, implementation structures and last year also in terms of drawdown. It refers to what potential the Czech-Saxon border area has and -- based on questionnaire survey - tries to determine how the representatives of municipalities in Czech-Saxon border area perceive the cooperation and where they see the major problems.
