Personal Assistance in the Life of a Person with a Mental Disability

The aim of this work is to present personal assistance as an alternative which should be included in the care of individuals with mental disabilities. This service becomes a bridge which gives a person who is mentally disabled the ability to codetermine according to their individual capacity and actively fulfill their life in a natural setting. A portion of the text deals with the evaluation of a questionnaire survey created for personal assistants who assist people with mental disabilities who are aged 16 and older. The aim of the survey was to analyze basic information about the profile of a personal assistant including their education, motivation as well as their perception of the role of a personal assistant.

Social Undertaking of Non-Governmental Organisations

This work deals with the phenomena of social economy and social undertaking and its subjects - social enterprises and firms within the group of non-governmental nonprofit organizations. Attention is paid to the preparation phase - establishment of the social enterprise and methods for lowering the risk of failure in the early stages of its activity. Theoretical part of this work clarifies the idea of social economy and social undertaking and presents its actors the social enterprises. The second theoretical part describes strategic planning, business plan and feasibility study as possible methods for lowering the risk of failure in the preparatory phase of enterprise development. By using the methods of qualitative research the empirical part is trying to find out what approaches have been taken to an account by existing social enterprises in the Czech Republic in preparatory phase and how they evaluate them now. Some good practices are presented and the work indicates a possible path for organizations and individuals that are about to setup a social enterprise.

The Valley's Topoclimate and Its Influence on the Vegetation

The Valley's Topoclimate and Its Influence on The Vegetation Abstract The thesis as presented deals with specific valley's topoclimate of a chosen example of one particular valley located near the city Jílové u Prahy. The main objective of the thesis which has been defined is to evaluate the topoclimate of the determined area and its influence on the phytogeographical and phenological situation of the valley. The outdoor temperature measurements carried out by using Assmann's psychrometer as well as the observations of the plant's phenological state have been taken in the course of repeated expeditions into the valley in 2011 and 2012. The formations of night valley's inversions have been confirmed. The temperature gradient of 6 řC and three and half an hour long inversion following the sunrise have been recorded as a result of the measurement performed on 28th April 2012. As a consequence of the valley's parts shading the temperature differences have been proven. As a referential meteorological station the faculty's own station situated on the peak of Pecný hill and the automated personal weather station in Okrouhlo were used. Education towards respect to the elderly

We have been on the threshold of 21 century, where the structure of population is to be changed because of the decrease in natality, longer life expectancy and increase in number of advanced age people. For the first time in humankind history there are going to be four age categories, which have not realised their mutual roles yet. Contemporary family has been changing its structure and mutual family relationships. The state has taken control of some family functions so senior population has released its juniors from duties and the middle age generation neither feel the responsibility to prepare for their own old age or induce their children to respect the great age. There is a character of current society of hard individualism, the wish to get graduated, having their own life styles. The ability to understand people his or her need to live with somebody has disappeared. Hence it is quite difficult to achieve good relationships. The love for a man and understanding of the differences of the others has faded out somewhere. The old people are losing their dignity and feeling endangered of the time where they live. The Steel Structure of Car Showroom

The task of the thesis was to design a draft and a review of car’s showroom supporting structure. The object is located in the city of Hradec Králové. Floor plan has a size of 30 x 15 m, the height of the object is 7 m at the highest point. The mono-pitched roof is formed by two parts on the same slope 3.81 °. Material of all components is steel S235. All calculations were performed in accordance with valid standards. The structure consists of a load-bearing columns fixed to the ground, the truss girders are designed of hollow cross-sections, pin-suported by the columns. The purlins are pin supported by upper chords of a truss girder, with the lower and upper edges flushing. Purlins support the roof made of roof-panels by Kingspan, thickness 160 mm. Wall casing the technical parts of the object is formed also by system panels by Kingspan. The cladding of the sales area is made of glass panels by Reynaers.

The Evaluation of Spasticity in Lower Extremities Three Years after the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy

ABSTRAKT Název práce: Hodnocení spasticity na dolních končetinách tři roky po selektivní dorzální rhizotomii Cíle práce: Zhodnotit spasticitu na dolních končetinách u probandů s diagnózou spastická forma dětské mozkové obrny tři roky po provedení selektivní dorzální rhizotomie. Metody řešení: Případová studie dvou probandů s diagnózou spastická forma DMO ve věku 17 a 21 let. Vyšetření spasticity svalových skupin dolních končetin: abduktory, adduktory a flexory kyčelruno kloubu, flexory a extenzory kolenního kloubu, plantámí a dorzální flexory hlezenního kloubu. Testování spasticity proběhlo na základě přiřazení odporu během pasivně prováděného pohybu v kloubu k určitému stupni Ashworthovy škály a modifikované Ashworthovy škály. Výsledky: U probanda č. 1 došlo ke zvýšení spasticity plantámích a dorzálních flexorů hlezenních kloubů ze skóre 2 na skóre 5 Ashworthovy škály; spasticita ostatních svalových skupin zůstala na skóre 2. Při hodnocení spasticity dle modifikované Ashworthovy škály nastalo zvýšení u flexorů a extenzorů kolenních kloubů ze skóre 1 na skóre 1+, u plantámích a dorzálních flexorů hlezenních kloubů se spasticita zvýšila se skóre 1+ na skóre 4, spasticita ostatních svalových skupin přetrvala na skóre 1+. The tax audit from the perspective of the fundamental tax administration principles

The tax audit can be defined as one of the practices of the tax authorities modified by Act No. 280/2009 Coll., the Tax Code. The aim of the tax audit corresponds with the basic aim of the tax administration, which is primarily to establish correctly a tax assessment. This dissertation is focused on the tax audit from the perspective of the fundamental tax administration principles. The presented dissertation is divided into nine chapters, most of which are further subdivided. The first chapter is focused on the determination of the tax audit. In the second chapter, the attention is paid to the constitutional principles controlling the tax audit, mainly to selected regulations of the Constitution and the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. The following third chapter is focused on the isuue of good governance principles. The fourth chapter deals with the fundamental principles of tax administration, as expressed in the Tax Code in §5 - §9. These principles are specified as a basis for the next part of the work. Název: Rozvoj koordinačních schopností v judu The development ofcoordination abilities in judo Cíle práce: Charakteristika jednotlivých koordinačních schopností a jejich rozvoje netradičními metodami s použitím balančních míčů, balanční točny, judo míčků a horizontálního žebříku. Vytvoření zásobníku cviků rozvíjejících koordinační schopnosti. Metoda: Byla použita metoda sběru dat a studium dostupných materiálů. Převážnou část informací a poznatků jsem získala od předních japonských trenérů juda. Získaný materiál byl společně s použitou literaturou zpracován a uspořádán dle příslušnosti k jednotlivým tématům. Výsledky: Představuji trenérům juda nové metody rozvoje koordinačních schopností. Práce je přínosem pro trenéry a závodníky k lepší orientaci v problematice rozvoje koordinačních schopností a doplnění souboru cvičení, vedoucích ke kvalitnímu rozvoji koordinačních schopností. This diploma work is intended on the progress of singing skills in children's choirs at primary schools, it means what kind of exercises are used within the framework of voice culture. It is divided in several parts: History of children's choirs in the Czech Republic - here is brief information about development of this type of choirs in our republic. There is only general information about children's choirs until 1918 and the next years do more into details. Singing skills - here you can find several possibilities of classification (by Hana Váňová and Ladislav Daniel) and some of skills are described and explained more in detail. Games and motivations for children - it is here to bring a theory near to children. It is good to take advantage of games or another activities to progress of concrete skills.
