Digital Image Watermarking
Al Zaid, Abdullah Saleh ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This is the Final Project Report as being composed of an extensive summary of activities and results made by the student Abdullah S. A. Alzaid while undertaking the Watermark Project. This project acquaints an algorithm of digital watermarking which is based on Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT). In accord with the characters of human vision, the main objective of the project is to be focused on developing an image watermarking algorithm by taking advantage of both the DCT and DWT transforms and analysis of the algorithm on the basis of invisibility, distortion and robustness to attacks. The simulation results show that this algorithm is invisible and has good robustness for some common image processing operations. By the use of Matlab software, the two structures have been coded and then implemented.

Metric problems in the solid geometry
KREPSOVÁ, Lenka
This thesis deals with metric problems in the solid geometry and it is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the theory of the angular deflection of lines and planes, perpendicularity of lines and planes and the distance of points, lines and planes. This part consists of a summary of theorems and definitions as well as basic examples for explanation. The second part contains a collection of worksheets for students. This collection includes some solutions to the examples from the worksheets in the mathematic software GeoGebra. The solutions are intended for teachers. The worksheets and their solutions were tested by students during the tuition in the last year of the grammar school. This thesis can be used in tuition, self-studying and testing.

Book of Laozi. A translation with philological notes
Sehnal, David ; Švarcová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Zádrapa, Lukáš (referee) ; Uher, David (referee)
This disertation represents an annotated translation of one of the most important Old Chinese philosophical texts, the Book of Laozi. The translation in based on a detailed linguistic analysis of the text. The author has analyzed all of the cca 5000 words contained in the text and under each of them he presents his own understanding of its meaning and its syntactic function in the given context. In the Preface the author explains the basic methodological principles, renders the structure of the text and gives its short philosophical characteristics. In the main part of the disertation, i. e. the translation with the philological notes, every chapter is introduced with a brief summary in which the author reveals its possible philosophical message. It is followed by the original Old Chinese text with marked rhyming words and its Czech translation which reflects the text as close as possible. Next to it is the philological commentary in which the author presents the results of his linguistic analysis in a transparent way. The appendix of this disertation is a vocabulary of the lexemes found in Laozi. The material obtained through the linguistic analysis is organized into head words and word clusters according to individual lexemes and their syntactic functions. The volabulary is the first attempt of this kind...

Reform of the Czech Pension System using Dutch Way
Melichar, Lukáš ; Klazar, Stanislav (advisor) ; Blažek, Petr (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the detailed description and comparison of working of pension system in the Czech Republic with the system working in the Kingdom of the Netherland. Dutch pension system is considered one of the best pension systems in the world and that is why the diploma thesis contains also reflection if there would be the possibility to implement some elements into the Czech system. Partial aim of the thesis is the description of necessity of pension reform due to unfavourable demographic growth which brings higher pressure also on financial costs of pension systems. In addition to the comparison of how first pillars based on pay-as-you-go financing work is an important part of the thesis the comparison of private pension savings in the Netherland with currently introduced system of private pensions in the Czech Republic. For the clear arrangement is at the end of chapters short summary and final chapter contains the global comparison of both systems including the description of profitability and expensiveness, positives and negatives.

Copyright protection of software
Trunečková, Jana ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee) ; Holcová, Irena (advisor)
Summary: The Copyright Protection of Computer Programs The aim of my thesis is to analyse the copyright protection of computer programs. Primary I focused on the copyright protection according to the Czech Copyright Act with regard to international Conventions and the European Legislation. The thesis is composed of nine chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the topic. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis: Computer program is the instruction for a computer. A computer requires program to function. The term computer software includes computer programs, databases, computer files, preparatory design materials, all manner of works stored digitally to be accessed by computer and associated printed documentation such as manuals for users. Chapter Two shows the history of computers and computer programs and the development of the protection of computer programs. Chapter Three concerns the international Conventions and the European Legislation and their effect on the Czech Copyright Act. International Conventions in the area of copyright are mainly the Berne Convention, WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT) and the TRIPS Agreement. The most important EU copyright Directive is the Computer Programs Directive. Chapter Four and Five deal with the nature of computer...

Econometric analysis of the economy in game World of Warcraft
Buchníčková, Michaela ; Kuchina, Elena (advisor) ; Formánek, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis analyses the impact of real exchange rate and the official exchange ratio of fiat currencies and in-game golds on the price level in the game World of Warcraft. The work also includes a brief summary of the mechanisms of the in-game economy. The analysis is based on cointegration test and Granger causality test. Individual estimations are model based on the VAR and VEC models theory. The conclusions of this study are made for specific randomly selected pairs of servers with different populations. These results are not easily generalized for the entire regions, but they offer insight into the possible factors affecting the price level in each virtual economy. The results show that the price level on the American server Aegwynn affects the exchange rates of fiat and game currencies as well as that game currency exchange rate in the European region is sensitive to changes in exchange rates of the euro and the yuan. All calculations in this work were implemented in Eviews 8 software.

Changes in occurrence of climate types in the simulations of future climate
Mejsnar, Jan ; Mikšovský, Jiří (advisor) ; Halenka, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis compares climate classification of the Czech Republic based on two regional climate models (ALADIN-Climate and RegCM3) and on two model period (1961-1990 and 2021-2050). First, a short summary of climate classifications suitable for the Czech Republic is introduced. Above all are mentioned the classifications of Köppen, Kurpelová and Konček. The advantages of these classification are presented, especially their relation to occurrence of vegetation. Further, this thesis mentions today's regional climate models. The data of monthly values of precipitation and temperature were analysed by single classifications criteria and consequently visualized by the program SURFER to show individual climatic subtypes. The data represented averaged values for the periods 1961-1990 and 2021-2050. Finally the distribution and the veracity of both models are discussed.

Conceptual Design of Web Forms
Kasarda, Ján ; Holubová, Irena (referee) ; Nečaský, Martin (advisor)
As complexity of web applications and software grows, bene ts of applying modeling techniques for the development of such applications are increasing as well. In this work, we focus on modeling web forms which are an important part of current web applications. A short motivation example will demonstrate bene ts of modeling web forms at the conceptual level. We will then summarize existing approaches to conceptual modeling based on UML and Model-Driven Architecture (MDA). We will present XForms. Finally, we will discuss how to model web forms at the conceptual level and how to translate conceptual schemas of web forms to XForms representation. Our approach is based on MDA principles. Firstly, a problem domain is modeled at the conceptual level. Secondly, each form representing a part of the domain is modeled independently of its representation in XForms. The last step is generating XForms representations of the modeled forms.
