Analysis of inflation dynamics in Czech Republic
Hubálek, Ondřej ; Hušek, Roman (advisor) ; Formánek, Tomáš (referee)
Bachelor work is focused on analysis of inflation dynamics in Czech Republic using econometric models. Inflation with its impacts, costs and possibilities of measuring is described in the first part of this work. There is also described influence of Czech national bank on inflation progress and inflation targeting. Part also contains basic econometric models for inflation analysis and models of adaptive expectations. Consequently there is described theory of econometrics analysis, focused on ordinary least squares method. There are also described factors that can negatively influence significance of estimated models. In the concrete it is heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation and multicolinearity. The empirical part contains econometric analysis of inflation in Czech Republic by itself, using models described in theoretical part. There are also used other models, coming out of economic hypothesis. In the end there are selected models for inflation prediction.

The availability of the field hospice care in the Ceske Budejovice District
HAVLÍKOVÁ, Michala
This thesis focuses on the availability of the field hospice care in the Ceske Budejovice District. The target of this thesis is to chart the problems of developing the field hospice care in this region. I have also tried to find out, how the family members are informed concerning awareness of the field hospice care, the need of providing this field hospice care within this district and to analyse the possibilities of implementation the field hospice care to the health and social services system. In the theoretical part there are some terms explained relating to this topic. The detailed described issues are hospice care, palliative care, the final stage of life, legislation and the system of funding of this kind of care. In the practical part there has been targets and hypothesis described as well as the own methods of research and its results. A quantitative research had been chosen for finding information. I have chosen the method of interviewing through a questionnaire. The research has been done by contacting in both direct and indirect form (email). Family members who look after the patients in the terminal stage of their disease and the expert community (physicians) were questioned.

Managing stressful situations by alcohol addicted women
Havlíčková, Lenka ; Goldmann, Petr (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
Main theme of this work is generation of coping strategies by the women with alcohol dependence. Author is highlighting mounting society tolerance to stress and to alcohol abuse and she also shows this two phenomenon in mutual context. By the women side of population author particular describe dependence and border of society norm. Main goal is to bring to light and explore maladaptive strategies, by women with alcohol dependence, which are varied from ordinary population and the reason of such a behavior. To solve this issue author chose two methods. Firstly she uses data from TAT projective test, secondly verbal self examination test SVF. Inquire group of women author compare with control group of women, who embody no alcohol problem. Better success is expected from control group, because normal population should have better coping strategies. From result of research ensue, that women with alcohol dependence embody worse coping strategies indeed. But this difference is not such as strong as was expected. In declarative test SVF alcohol dependent women overestimate their strategies in comparison to TAT. On the base of this fact author offers hypothesis, that it can be only proclamation in presentation of coping strategies. Women from control group anticipate their strategies more accurately. Modern communication and social networks during working hours
Chytilová, Petra ; Hubinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kašparová, Eva (referee)
This work deals with the use of modern communication and social networks in Czech companies - wheather the modern networks improve the efficiency of workers. And than there is a comparison of Czech companies with foreign companies in the networking opportunities for business and marketing purposes. I set out two hypotheses: hypothesis 1: The effectiveness of employee labor increases with the use of communication and social networks during working hours and hypothesis 2: In contrast to foreign companies in the Czech Republic do not support the use of communication and social networks for marketing and other business purposes. To determine the situation on the Czech market, I have used the questionnaire, whose outputs are first analyzed and then compared with researches on similar or identical topics. The conclusion is that the usage of modern communication and social networks in Czech companies is underused and poor in contrast with foreign firms.

Ceny benzínu a automobilový trh
Zapletal, Zdeněk
The main aim of this thesis is to verify the hypothesis whether the effect of raising gasoline price results in the decreasing volume of automobile sales. The ordinary least squares method is used in the research. The thesis uses monthly data for The United States of America for the period 2000 -- 2010. The data about vehicles are disaggregated into categories by size and also by their import and export. The chapter with results shows that gasoline price has a negative effect on categories with cars and a positive effect on the export and the Mexican and Canadian import.

Automatic construction of semantic networks
Kirschner, Martin ; Pecina, Pavel (advisor) ; Holub, Martin (referee)
Presented work explores the possibilities of automatic construction and expansion of semantic networks with use of machine learning methods. The main focus is put on the feature retrieving procedure for the data set. The work presents a method of semantic relation retrieval, based on distributional hypothesis and trained on the data from Czech WordNet. We also show the first results for Czech language in this area of research. Part of the thesis is also a set of software for processing and evaluating of input data and a overview and discussion about its results on real-world data. The resulting tools can process data of amount in orders of hundreds of millions of words. The research part of the thesis used Czech morphologically and syntactically annotated data, but the methods are not language dependent.

Mentally Disabled Pupils in Special Basic Schools and Their Perspectives
JURÁKOVÁ, Bohuslava
In my Bachelor´s work I have tried to find out what perspectives there are for mentally disabled pupils after finishing compulsory education at special basic schools and if there are enough opportunities for their further education. The theoretical part describes a mentally disabled child and the levels of mental disorders. I deal with the education of mentally handicapped pupils, special schools and the school legislation. The last section analyses opportunities for further education of mentally disabled pupils after finishing special basic schools. The practical part of the Bachelor´s work has been done on the basis of quantitative research realised in 16 special basic schools in South Bohemia. Thirteen headmasters (81%) and 97 parents of mentally handicapped pupils (81%) were engaged. All the data and information necessary for the research were gained from October 2008 to January 2009. I used questionnaires of structured, semi-structured and open-ended questions and a secondary data analysis. The first aim of the research was to find out how much the parents of mentally disabled pupils are interested in futher education of their children. The second aim was focused on educational opportunities in one- and two-year practical schools and how available they are for these pupils. Thanks to the questionnaire findings I succeeded in getting all important information and fulfil both aims stated at the beginning. The aim served as a base of two hypotheses. Hypothesis 1: The parents of special school pupils are interested in their further education. Hypohesis 2: Pupils finishing special basic schools are offered enough opportunities for further education in one- and two-year practical schools. After evaluating all data I have found that Hypothesis 1 was proved because 81% of parents of mentally disabled pupils are interested in further education for their children after finishing their compulsory education. Hypothesis 2 expected that pupils after finishing special basic schools had enough opportunities for further education. The research, however, showed that there were significant obstacles, e.g. children´s handicap (38%), shortage of financial means (28%), school distance (23%), parents´ uninterest and others (11%), for example a stay out of the family, difficulties in commuting to school and uninterest in further education. It means that hypothesis 2 was disproved. The work could become a valuable source of information for parents of mentally disabled children. The findings can be used as an information material for special pedagogists and may serve as a feedback to the schools and their founders. My Bachelor´s work brought some new knowledge to me and it was very interesting and instructive at the same time.

Mystery shopping
Baarová, Eva ; Rymeš, Milan (referee) ; Wagnerová, Irena (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with employee performance evaluation, especially in the field of direct retail and service providers. There are briefly mentioned particular evaluation methods in the theoretical part. Attention is focused on the mystery shopping method and its specificity from the psychological view. ln the practical part we write about research which has been realized in the CG company. The employee evaluation was carried out by using test shopping in two terms (autumn 2005, spring 2006). ln the final chapter of the second part we summarize important conclusions. We discuss factors that affect the validity of the evaluation and positive contribution of MS for the company and we test some particular hypothesis about the difference between evaluations in both MSs. We identity weak points in individua! performance and team performance and define its development potential i ty.

Extremism in the Czech Armed Forces
REPKO, Tomáš
The aim of this thesis is to focus on the issue of extremism and related phenomenon in the Czech Army. In the theoretical part the author deals with basic concepts, division, history, and not least the importance of hazards and inform about this problem. In the practical part of the probe will be made in knowledge of the ACR of the selected departments. Practical first part defines the method used, and also handles the research objectives and hypothesis. After the description of research, this took place at the 25th anti-aircraft missile brigade in Strakonice. The conclusion is verified the hypothesis.
