Characteristics of transportation site and evaluation of infrastructure for state Cameroon

This Bachelor thesis is focused on characteristics of transportation site in Cameroon and its evaluation by morphological signs that are used in measurements of transportation infrastructure. Another topic covered in my thesis is related with description of composite indicators and measuring of logistic performance of Cameroon through Logistic Performance Index. The Obtained information were used for the description of local situation with analysis of morphological signs and Logistic Performance Index. Recommendations and suggestions for this region and for a region of Cameroon are mentioned at the end of this thesis

This thesis deals with the financial evaluation of VODÁRENSKÁ AKCIOVÁ SPOLEČNOST, a.s. the period 2005 - 2009. The main sources of information, from which I build, the data from financial statements, namely a balance sheet, profit and loss statements. I divided the theoretical part, which I will describe the theoretical background that is needed to correctly assess their financial situation. In the practical part, the findings are to be used on data processing companies and financial analysis. The weaknesses of these proposals to improve the financial situation of the company.

The consolidation group and consolidated financial statements are established on the basis of theoretical knowledge. The evaluation and suggestions for improvement of financial situation of consolidation group is based on financial analysis of consolidated financial statements.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Firm and Proposals to its Improvement

This bachelor´s thesis evaluates the financial situation of KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS CZECH, spol. s r.o. in the years 2004-2006 from the point of view of the strategic and financial analysis. The strategic analysis has been carried out using the SWOT analysis and Porter´s Five Forces Framework. Financial analysis has been undertaken by using information obtained from company´s accounting statements. The recommended measures leading to improvement of company´s currant situation are based results of both analyses.

Agricultural insurance

This thesis deals with risks threatening agricultural activity, with agricultural insurance and with state aid to agricultural insurance in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it describes history and development of agricultural insurance in the Czech Republic. Under this chapter is explored dependence of the premium on selected factors. The attention is also paid to agricultural insurance schemes in 16 selected countries of the world. Consequently, there are proposed possible suggestions of improvement of current agricultural insurance system in the Czech Republic with regard to foreign practice. The supply of crop insurance including a practical example of farmer using crop insurance in his risk management is concisely described in the end of the thesis.

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on analysis of economic indicators of the company PAPco Ltd. by using statistical methods, on the basis of which then evaluates the company’s financial situation and also there will be made possible suggestions based on these results. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the theoretical parts will be processed basis used for statistical methods and also all basis necessary for processing the analysis of economic indicators. The analytical part contains analysis of economic indicators and prognosis of possible future developments of the company, which are processed using the selected statistical methods. Suggestion part contains recommendations that the company should fulfill in order to improve its financial situation.

Financial analysis of Casia s.r.o.

A financial analysis of Casia s.r.o. company conducted for years 2003 -- 2007. The thesis is conceived for managers (owners), who are involved in a further growth of the firm. Not only standard quantitative methods are used in the paper (percentage analysis, ratios, horizontal and vertical analysis of account statements, cash flow, working capital, economic value added and financial leverage calculation), but also methods for complex assessment of the company: Index IN05, Quick Test. A part of the work is also an intercompany and industry comparison. Proposals for improvements are defined in the conclusion.
