Real-time Facial Feature Tracking

This thesis considers the problematic of the object recognition in a digital picture, particularly about the human face recognition and its components. There are described the basics of the computer vision, the object detector Viola-Jones, its computer realization with help of the OpenCV libraries and the test results. This thesis also describes the accurate system of the facial features detection per the algorithm of the Active Shape Models and also related mechanism of the classifier training, including the software implementation.

Trh práce, politika zaměstnanosti a nezaměstnanost okresu Benešov

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou trhu práce, nezaměstnanosti a politiky zaměstnanosti okresu Benešov. Obsahuje část teoretickou, vymezující trh práce, zákonitosti jeho fungování a nezaměstnanost. V další části se potom orientuji na základní charakteristiku okresu Benešov. Následuje část analytická, rozdělená celkem do 4 kapitol, které jsou věnovány nezaměstnanosti, základním faktorům, které formují trh práce v okrese Benešov, politiku zaměstnanosti realizovanou na území okresu a také náhledu na praktickou činnost Úřadu práce v Benešově u Prahy. V oblasti nezaměstnanosti je věnována registrované míře nezaměstnanosti, uchazečům o zaměstnání a vnitřním disproporcím v rámci regionu. V oblasti trhu práce mapuje jeho vývoj v průběhu let 2002 ? 2006, současný stav a strukturu nabídky a poptávky dle kategorií pracovníků. Z hlediska politiky zaměstnanosti nahlíží na problematiku její realizace ze strany Úřadu práce, na druhé straně umožňuje náhled na přehled nejdůležitějších opatření na podporu zaměstnanosti deklarovaných v Programu rozvoje územního obvodu Středočeského kraje.

Inertial Navigation Unit

This thesis is focused on the design and realisation of inertial navigation unit INS. The unit is capable to measure, store and send data to a PC in real-time for a later offline processing. The first part of the thesis introduces the reader with the basic principles of accelerometers, gyroscopes and MEMS sensors. An introduction to coordinate systems and measuring errors is also included. The second and third part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the solution and the implementation of the INS unit. The fourth part of the document is dedicated to the software for the INS unit. This thesis concludes with explanation how the gathered data are processed.

Sensitivity analysis in distributed-parameter systems

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to familiarize with calculation of modified nodal analysis and its application in distributed-parameter systems. Realize evaluation of sensitivities with respect to a primary parameters R0,L0,C0,G0 and length l of transmission line. Then apply this technique on example in Matlab language using graphical user interface GUIDE. Selected technique is accelerated method based on efficient computation of matrix exponential function. The results are sensitivities of circuit values with respect to a primary parameters R0,L0,C0,G0 and length l of transmission line.

Návrh a realizace inovace

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem a realizací infrastruktury v menší školní síti. Cílem práce je jednak zanalyzovat současný stav pevné sítě, identifikovat zdroje problémů a odstranit je. Dalším cílem práce je navrhnout a postavit bezdrátovou síť. Tato práce se skládá z několika částí. Na úvod nastíním postupy používané při návrhu sítě. V další části budou teoreticky vysvětleny některé aspekty pevné sítě. V třetí části bude popsáno navržené řešení problému pevné sítě. Čtvrtá část se zabývá bezdrátovými technologiemi a nakonec bude popsáno řešení výstavby bezdrátové sítě.

Submitted report introduced results obtained by researchers from the Institute of Global Change Research and the Department of Geoinformatics of University Palacký in Olomouc. From all activities the following activities are the most important: Habitat mapping of agricultural and non-agricultural plots in the Kopanický stream catchment according to Seják at al. (2003) a Seják at al. (2010); Computation of the indicators of landscape fragmentation and ecological stability for Kopanický stream catchment; Valuation of land use change from the point of view of the optimalization of the selected ecosystem functions performance and selected provisioning and regulating ecosystem service provision, including financial valuation; and Valuation of functional land use from point of views territorial planning of small villages and environmental demands to landscape.

Potential of cholesterol-loaded cyclodextrins and low density lipoprotein for increasing the efficiency of cryopreservation of epididymal sperms in stallions

In the case of sudden death or injury stallion reproductive system or necessary castration preventing the collection of semen can to preserve the genetic potential of exceptional individuals take advantage of epididymal sperm. Virtually the only way, how to preserve fertilizing sperm POTENTIAL for long time IS cryopreservation. However, this process induces irreversible changes that are the cause of the reduced number of sperm capable of fertilization after thawing. Epididymal sperm cells have properties different from the ejaculated, harder to keep. Therefore, they are constantly looking for ways to streamline their cryopreservation.
GENERAL most commonly used cryoprotectants include glycerol and Egg yolk. Despite the positive effects is glycerol toxic to cells and Egg yolk also contains ingredients that act on sperm metabolism negatively. Increasing the efficiency of cryopreservation protocols themselves likely to be achieved by replacing toxic components while leveraging industry-produced active yolk fractions.
Submitted dissertation topic itself will deal with the use of cholesterol-loaded cyclodextrins Along with low density lipoproteins, the cryopreservation of epididymal sperm.
Main method: HPLC, Western blot, electrophoresis, fluorescent labels, computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA).

SW Support and maintenance: Extension of onthology about COE concept, simplification of effort estimation

Effective implementation (in terms of time, cost, utilization of human resources, etc.) of information systems operation is a strategic issue in today's time when business processes are integrally aligned with the informatics. Currently, costs associated with software support and maintenance represent more than 90% of total costs. Software maintenance is a set of activities needed for cost-effective support of IT solution. IS / IT Center of excellence (COE) do not cover the area of software support and maintenance, there is no formalized methodology or procedural framework for COE for support and maintenance -- in reality, it means missing processes and procedures for creating it, management and evaluation of it. Moreover, there are missing recommendation about organization structure, services to be provided and overall continuous improvement. Therefore author proposes his own solution by definition and implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and its sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications. Current ontology of support and maintenance does not capture the necessary components and links -- namely missing management, planning and effort estimation views. Therefore author proposes his redefinition and enrichment of ontology of organizational structure about elements of competence and sub-competence center, typology of tasks (management, maintenance), and their management - estimating, planning and realization. In his work, Magne Jorgensen formulated conclusions that 83 to 84% of all estimation is done by pure expert estimates and estimating models are not used basically due to their complexity. Based on extending PERT formula about quality of estimator and historical experience, author introduced his simplified, easy to use approach to effort estimation in software maintenance. Both introduced formulas were verified in sub-competence center for supporting mortgage IS with significantly better result than only pure PERT estimate (98.8% and 91.8% against pure PERT 90.1%). In conclusion, author discusses the benefits of the implementation of center of excellence for support and maintenance and sub-centers of excellence for support and maintenance of particular applications, and overall fulfilling of thesis scope.

Transformation from C to VHDL Language

The thesis describes the process of transformation of the behavior of processor described in C language into VHDL language. Individual steps of automatized transformation are compared to manual design of processor. The thesis highlights advantages of the internal representation of program in the form of graph. Optimizations based on various factors are introduced in this thesis. One of them are algebraic modifications of expressions. The time of computation or space requirements of the circuit can be lowered by proper aplication of properties of math operators - associativity, comutativity and distributivity. Special attention is payed to optimizations, that make use of parallelism of operations for the process of planning. Algorithms of time-constrained scheduling and resource-constrained scheduling are discussed. The end of this thesis is devoted to resource allocation.

Změny obchodních modelů v souvislosti s aplikacemi mobilního obchodování

Práce vznikla jako reakce na masivní rozvoj mobilních technologií, přičemž většina podniků přistupuje k implementaci živelně, bez potřebné analýzy současného prostředí a bez realizace komplexních změn v jejich podnikání tak, aby využily všech výhod mobilního prostředí. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti podniků při aplikaci mobilního obchodování do jejich systémů a procesů. Práce ukazuje jak komplexně řešit změny v přístupu podniku, v jeho obchodních modelech, ve vztahu k projektům, procesům i zákazníkům tak, aby podniky maximálně využily potenciálu mobilního podnikání. Zároveň si klade za cíl být návodem pro implementaci mobilních řešení v podniku tak, aby podnik maximalizoval užitek ze zavedení mobilních řešení a zároveň tato řešení vycházela ze současného stavu a z potřeb podniku. Práce se zde soustřeďuje hlavně na změny procesů, metrik, personální politiky a architektury informačních systémů a poukazuje na faktory úspěšnosti mobilních projektů. Cílem práce je zároveň vyplnit mezeru v odborné literatuře, kdy ve většině prací chybí propojení technologického pohledu na obchodního, tedy mobilních technologií se zaměřením na jejich komerční využití v praxi a budoucí rozvoj těchto technologií opět s ohledem na jejich obchodní využití. Mezi další cíle patří vymezení terminologie mobilního podnikání a analýza silných a slabých stránek jednotlivých technologií pro jejich využití. Práce je členěna do tří logických částí, do části definiční, analytické a aplikační. V části definiční se na základě odborné literatury vymezuje předmět řešení a definují základní pojmy oblasti mobilního podnikání. Část závěrů a definic vznikla vlastním odvozením na základě dostupných teoretických zdrojů obchodních modelů, mobilního podnikání, či teorií internetového podnikání z univerzit v ČR, Evropě (zejména v Německu a Švýcarsku) i USA. Analytická část ukazuje současný stav mobilních technologií a zároveň i analýzu možností těchto technologií. Základem a přínosem je zde právě analýza těchto technologí a jejich vztah k jednotlivým obchodním modelům, jsou zde také hodnoceny i jednotlivé modely a jejich připravenost na mobilní obchodování. Součástí aplikační části je vlastní návrh konkrétních změn v podniku u jednotlivých obchodních modelů a to nikoliv pouze změn technologických, ale jejich integrace se změnami procesními, personálními a změnami metrik tak, aby se úspěšně implementovaly všechny výhody mobilního podnikání. Jádrem práce jsou tedy návrhy holistických změn v podniku. Tyto změny vychází z mých návrhů, které byly následně modifikovány pří práci ve fokusních skupinách projektových manažerů mobilních řešení, část (hlavně komplexní řešení změn) vychází z vlastních výzkumů a zkušeností, které byly následně prověřeny implementací v praxi v českých i mezinárodních podnicích. Celá tato doporučení jsou zasazena i do kontextu právního rámce a jsou zde zohledněny i významy pro jednotlivé faktory úspěšnosti imlplementace mobilních řešení u každého z obchodních modelů. Tyto faktory vycházejí z analýzy fokusních skupin a dotazování oborníků z praxe. Práce by tedy měla hlavně sloužit jako metodický podklad pro změnu v jednotlivých obchodních modelech podnikání a zároveň sloužit jako teoretický základ pro oblast mobilního podnikání a to zejména doplněním odborné literatury o chybějící témata.
