The Horse as an Assistant on the Path of Life for People with Health Disabilities
Milsimerová, Petra ; Pincová, Eliška (advisor) ; Richterová, Eva (referee)
I dedicated my paper to the theme of health impairments' liminality and the way how horses can help people with health impairments to find their way through life. I come out from my personal experience with horses and people with health impairments. Theoretical concepts that deal with the life of people with health impairments, with the potential incidence of horse in today's society and the schema of rites of passage; with their liminal state first of all, are the base of my paper. Very important are the thoughts of Robert F. Muprhy who denotes that health impairment is the kind of liminality. In the practical part of my paper I realized research based on quality methods. The objective of this research is to show whether it is possible that the horse becomes the mediator of passage from the health impairments' liminality. The aim of this paper is to answer this question and broaden the knowledge about positive changes that evoce horses in the lives of people with health impairment with the dimension of leaving the liminality.

Construction of a new insurance product - Insurance for the future parents
SMUTNÁ, Marta
The aim of this thesis is to create a new insurance product ?Insurance for the future parents? and its application on the target group. The first chapters deal with the theory of insurance business, insurance and actuarial mathematics. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the theory of fertility and birth rate, with their indicators and with the factors influencing these demographic indicators. The next section focuses on the financial phase of life, especially on the personal finance and the importance of insurance. The following chapters analyze the fertility and birth rate, depending on the affecting factors mentioned above, and other data needed for the product construction, specifically the analysis of insurance products in the insurance market of Czech Republic and abroad. The next one is describes the new financial product developing methodology, which was used for creating the specific financial product this thesis is about. The last thesis chapter focuses on the complex proposal of the whole insurance product which has been set accordingly to previous analyses and theoretical information.

Optical connections and their influence on transmission
Jaroš, Pavel ; Šporik, Jan (referee) ; Tejkal, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to evaluate the current options of connecting optical fibres and their application in specific situations. Firstly, I will deal with fiber optic system and its components in detail. Then, this topic will be futher developed by discussing fibre connection problems, fusion splicing for making permanent fiber join, mechanical splice and, most of all, optical connectors. In following chapters I introduce mathematical dependence of attenuation on the relative possition of the ends of fibers. Another aim of the work was to create an application in a suitable programming enviroment, which will be used for design of optical path.

Effects on flavonoid metabolism and transport in in vitro cultures II.
Chládeková, Ludmila ; Kašparová, Marie (referee) ; Martin, Jan (advisor)
Name of the work: Effects on flavonoid metabolism and transport in in vitro cultures II. Author: Ludmila Chládeková This diploma thesis is focused on the cultivation of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgii suspension cultures and on the transport of flavonoids through the tonoplast. The effect of MgATP, glutathione and bafilomycine on baicalin and baicalein transport was observed in the isolated vacuoles. Our experiments showed, that MgATP has positive effect on the transport speed and on the total amount of vacuole-stored baicalin. The transport was realized by ATP dependent tonoplast transporters, called ABC transporters. The experiments with glutathione and bafilomycine did not show any effect on flavonoid's transport.

Millennium Development Goals
Urban, Petr ; Kapinusová, Jana (advisor) ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (referee)
The objective of my bachelor thesis is to judge problems of the third world countries with the emphasis on african continent. I will especially focus on economic and social problems of the countries. I will try to judge potential solving problems not only in economic way. I will also focus on political structure of the countries and its role in looking for reasons of poverty and I will try to find out how to prevent the consequences depend on political instability in the regions. I will try to give the answer what is the main function of international organisations, if the millennium development goals are realized and if the financial aid used on development projects is efficient.

The effect of the season on the thermal stability in the indoor environment
Němcová, Aneta ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of shading coefficient of external blindsand its dependence on environmental phenomena. The aim of the thesis is to find an optimal solution for forming of inner environment according to the shading coefficient of external blinds shading element. The computer software of Teruna for creating a mathematic simulation of rooms in the assigned detached family house. The conclusion contains the recommendation of building alterations for the detached family house which I designed in my bachelor´s thesis.

Ways and opportunities of restoration human-harmed areas
Polášek, Petr ; Dvořák, Antonín (advisor) ; Hadrabová, Alena (referee)
Bachelor thesis under the name "ways and opportunities of restoration human-harmed areas" focuses on methods and types of restoration that can be used for the areas harmed by raw material extraction and mainly for the waste dumps restoration. Except the description of the methods and types of restoration activities the thesis summarizes technological procedures, processes and conditions that are fundamental for the particular types of restorations. In the practical part of the thesis is introduced waste dump in Radim -- its history, current status and plan of the restoration after the first fase is closed down. Last but not least the thesis informs about economical aspects of appropriate types of restoration -- it quantifies the restoration expenses depending on the type and methods used for the respect restoration project. It brings examples of many economical aspects that are advantageous mainly for municipality that can based on this fact realize extra investments for their citizens delight.

Application of the Theory of Statistics to Controlling Processes
Strašák, Tomáš ; Zichová, Jitka (referee) ; Koch, Roman (advisor)
This dissertation is considered to statistical control of call center. There are suggested a possible description of the center and identify key parameters which influence its performance on the base of measured informations. In this work is describe construction of a call center model which is used for generation specified scenarios of incoming phonecalls. This experimental data are analyzed, main factors which influence its efficienty are determined and principles which realization can be reached given targets are described. Basic attention lead to maximization of benefit and consequetive estimation optimal amount of operators. These principles as same as estimated dependances subserve as decision-making knowledge what amount of operators and theirs expedient combinations is optimal and for estimation of impact to efficiency and call center function in a case of making changes.

Ecological study of epixylic species \kur{Lophozia ascendens} and \kur{Anastrophyllum hellerianum (Lophoziaceae)}
HOLÁ, Eva
Seasonal pattern and extent of asexual reproduction in liverwort species Lophozia ascendens, L. ventricosa and L. longiflora were studied in the Boubínský prales and Milešický prales old-growth forest reserves in the Šumava Mts., South Bohemia. Asexual reproduction was quantified as the number of 1{--}2 -celled gemmae produced per individual shoot. Numbers of gemmae per shoot among sampling months differed significantly as did the numbers of gemmae in samples among Lophozia ascendens, L. ventricosa and L. longiflora among sampling months. Germinability of gemmae was low in early spring, highest in August and September and slightly decreased in October. Spreading potential of gemmae was investigated in the epixylic hepatic Anastrophyllum hellerianum. Gemmae were trapped at different distances (0 {--} 10 m) and directions from the source colonies in two experiments: one was realized in the natural habitat within a forest and the other in an artificial set-up in the open habitat. Dispersal of gemmae showed slight distance dependence both in the natural and open habitats. Habitat requirements (e. g. decay degree, texture, bark cover, log diameter) of the L. ascendens and A. hellerianum were investigated in both reserves, 126 logs were found. Mostly tiny liverworts grew with L. ascendens and A. hellerianum. Both studied species occurred on logs with degree of decay 2 {--} 7 and degree of texture 2 {--} 6.
