Navrátil, Ondřej ; Ing. Michal Štrba. Ph.D. (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Design of a steel supporting structure for one-storeyed hall based on ground plan of 60 x 80 m, clear height 10 m and total height 13,3 m. In the front part there is along the whole widht designed two-storeyed skeleton structure penetrating into the hall. From the second floor rods supported frontal part which exceeds ground plan by 2 m and on the right side is closed by pre-set cylindric structure with radius 8,6 m which covers the right frontal corner of building. The cylindric structure is around its perimeter distanced max 3,6 m from hall grand plan and is supported by posts. Both spaces had saddle roof with 8% slant, gutter edge in height 11,6 m, top line in height 12,8 m. Walls are around perimeter closed by horizontal atic in height of 13,3 m. Shape and dimensional design, load specification – stady, utility, climacic load. Calculation of imide forces and further static dimensioning of the main supporting elements and selected details. Elaboration of design documentation (dosposition, production drawing of the anchorage plan, details definited by project supervizor).

Path dependency principle in the context of the transformation of Czechoslovak centrally planned economy
Bělohradský, Aleš ; Mlčoch, Lubomír (advisor) ; Schwarz, Jiří (referee)
This work is focused on the economic phenomenon called path dependency, which basically describes how the current economic performance is influenced by the historical evolution. The objective of the work is to examine this principle in changes of property rights in the specific circumstances of the economic and political transition from the centrally planned economy of the communist Czechoslovakia to the capitalist system in the 1990s. The explanation of the principle and its foundation in the theory of the institutional economics, and especially the evolutionary theory of institutions, takes place in the first part. The second part brings the description of the real socialism with the emphasis on its forms of the ownership and the quasi-ownership respectively. To give more specific illustration of the socialist system, the agricultural sector is chosen to be described more precisely. Hence the stress is put on the description of the cooperatives as the major form of a socialist agricultural enterprise. With this theoretical background and with the empirical findings from two former agricultural cooperatives, the main effects of path dependency are delineated in the third part. Finally, the generalization and evaluation of significance of the principle for the economic analysis conclude the study.

Forms and functions of interrogative structures: a contrastive study of English and Japanese
Buriánková, Petra ; Švarcová, Zdeňka (referee) ; Šaldová, Pavlína (advisor)
The functional analysis attempted to provide a survey of functions, i.e. illocutionary forces of interrogative structures in the corpus and its sub-corpora and hence compare the scope of functions that are, besides the functions following from the primary semantics of the individual interrogative types, realized by interrogatives main types of the compared languages. The key factor that can, to high degree, determine the outcome of an analysis, is classification. We have combined two approaches, classical Searle's approach and an alternative approach of Wierzbicka, which was devised specifically for cross-cultural pragmatics' purposes. The first part of quantitative analysis pursued overall distribution of the illocutionary forces in the individual sub-corpora regardless of the interrogative types expressing them. As expected both languages used interrogatives in accord with their primary semantics mostly for asking for a piece of unknown information or confirmation or negation of information, i.e. directive RR (request for representative). However apart from this common trend there are some noteworthy tendencies. (see graph D2 in Appendix D). Japanese is quite conservative and uses interrogatives primarily to ask for information, to some degree to express emotions or attitudes and only in a very limited...

The main goal of this master’s thesis was get up used methods for observation the stereoscopic scene with one couple of cameras and find out good solving for processing these resulting pictures for two-view and multiple-view autostereoscopic displays for three-dimensional perception. For methods for acquisition video was introduced two methods. They were method “Off-axis” with parallel camera axis and method “Toe in” with intersections axis. For fit method was choice the method named as “Off-axis“. It was not produces the vertical parallax and in detail was in this work described principle of this method. Further were describe principles off used methods for three-dimensional perception namely from the oldest method named anaglyph after methods for viewing at autostereoscopic displays. The Autostereoscopic displays were main goal of this thesis and so their principles were described in details. For production the result image for autostereoscopic displays was used generation intermediate images between left and right camera. Resulting videos were acquisition for testing scene in created in 3D studio Blender, where was possible setting system of cameras exactly parallel axis. Then were introduce principles processing video where was extract from the couple of cameras where were connected to PC for help digitizing card and next time with two web cameras. Here is not guaranteed exact parallel axis system. Therefore this work try for real cameras achieve exactly parallel axis system by the help of transformations of frames with stereo rectification. Stereo rectification was solving with OpenCV libraries and was used two methods. Both methods work from principles epipolar geometry that was described in this work also in detail. First method rectifies pictures on the basis fundamental matrix and found correspondences points in two images of the scene and second method rectifies pictures from knowledge intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of stereoscopic system of cameras. Employing people with physical and multiple disability from the employer{\crq}s point of view
VALIČKOVÁ, Jana
Employing people with physical and multiple disability from the employer{\crq}s point of view I chose the subject of this thesis because I work for o.s. Asistence as a work counselor within the framework of a transit program and one of my duties is to help people with physical and multiple disability find a job as well as establish contact with employers. People with health disability are among social groups most threatened by unemployment. They make up about 13% of the level of unemployment which is increasing. There are surely many reasons for such a high level of unemployment among people with health and multiple disability. Among them we may rank insufficient coverage of services supporting this social group in the process of seeking work, next a low number of vacancies and finally the lack of experience of employers with employing people with a health disability. A number of people with physical and multiple disability would very much like to be employed in the regular labour market. There are also employers who would very much like to employ such a person, but they do not know how to find a new employ or who to contact as well as how does the whole process of employing disabled people work. One of the services dedicated to this social problem that seems quite promising is the supported employment. The aims of this thesis were various. Partly to describe the process of employing people with physical and multiple disabilities from the employer{\crq}s viewpoint. Then to describe in what way employers need to be supported when employing people with physical and multiple disabilities. The final aim was to describe the motivation of current employers to employ people with a health disability. The first part of this work deals with the characteristics of people with physical and multiple disability, with their rights, the relation of the society regarding the employment of these people and legal aspects applied to employing people with health disability. I also described the services that are provided to employers employing people with physical and multiple disabilities by agencies of supported employment. I also mentioned Corporate Social Responsibility and its usage in the social area. The research itself was carried out in collaboration with o.s. Asistence. The group on which the research was carried out was made up by five employers employing people with physical and multiple disability and by five counselors from o.s. Asistence. The data were collected by means of a semi-structured interview. The interview itself focused on the motivation of the employers to employ people with health disability and the legislation pertinent to the discussed problem. The interview with the counselors regarded similar topics with regard as to how do they participate in the process themselves. This work may be a source of information for current or potential employers of people with physical or multiple disability. At the same time it may be of use to people providing services to this social group by helping them in finding a job.

An objective of my graduation thesis is an analysis of hedge funds and hedge strategies while reflecting the distribution of the investments to right portfolio taking into account the risk. The main aim is to provide clear and consistent classification of whole variety of different hedge styles and strategies. There are plenty of different investment and trading strategies of hedge funds and their classification differs from analyst to analyst and from database to database. The work focuses on finding an alternative consistent classification of hedge funds which will lead to improvement of investment decisions of financial market participants, to effective distribution of the investment portfolio and therefore to elimination of undiversified risks. For the practical analysis I use real data of hedge fund returns of particular relevant time period. I focus on research and description of possible methods of hedge fund classification mentioning their pluses and minuses. After passionate evaluation of each method I have chosen two methods according to which I classify the hedge funds datasets and finally I compare the results of both. The theoretical part of work focuses on definition of hedge funds, hedge styles and strategies, pluses and minuses as well as risk accompanying particular strategy.
