Minor Church Architecture
Dytrychová, Markéta ; Polišenský, Miroslav (advisor) ; Petr, Jakub (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the theoretical part of the grounds for protection feature, meaning and possibilities of financing of small religious monuments. It is mainly about getting orientation in the field of legislative responsibilities of owners concerning the protection of cultural immovable monuments, monuments located in rotected areas,as well as sites not declared a cultural monument and is also not located in protected areas. The practical part consists of compiling the small church buildings in the territory under Bezdězem Bela, assessment of their current situation and proposing alternatives for financing the restoration of buildings in disrepair. Assessment of individual sites is guided by its own field research, comparing issued binding opinions and the information gathered from owners of monuments. Work is completed on your own compilation record sheets for individual monuments, which will be the basis for creating a guide to the sights in Bela pod Bezdězem. The effort will not only identify the small church buildings, assess their condition, but also to find out whether the owners care about their monuments in accordance with the law.

Suitable utility function identification
Majerová, Michaela ; Kopa, Miloš (advisor) ; Lachout, Petr (referee)
At the beginning of this work we study basic properties of utility functions and connection between their shape and investor's relation to risk. Then we define risk premium and we recall measure of risk aversion. In the second chapter we study classification of utility functions according to the absolute risk aversion measure and we list some basic types of utility functions. In the third chapter we construct investor's utility function. We use values of insurance premium which we get from questionnaire filled by MFF UK students. We use these utility functions in the last chapter. First we define portfolio selection problem and then we find optimal portfolio for different investors.

The nutrition specifics of patients with chronic renal failure in pre-haemodialysis and haemodialysis programmes.
PAVLÍKOVÁ, Andrea
Chronic renal insufficiency tends to worsen gradually until it gets to the stage of kidney failure, often despite the prescribed adequate treatment. The duration of this period of nephrology dispensarization may differ. Kidneys lose their cleaning ability within ten years, which leads to accumulation of metabolism waste products in the body. If the primary renal disease graduates to the final stage the patient depends on substitute kidney therapy in the form of haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or transplantation. Kidney failure treatment depends on the stage of renal function impairment. Modification of eating habits is also closely related to this fact. In the first stage of insufficiency the diet does not substantially differ from normal healthy nourishment principles. Only later gradual limitation of intake of the individual nutrients is necessary. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to map specific requirements for nourishment of patients suffering from chronic kidney failure that have not been included in a dialysis programme yet, contrary to individuals who already visit a dialysis centre and regularly undertake blood cleaning process. A lot of professional literature had to be studied to obtain necessary information for preparation of adequate diet regimen. Scientific bibliographic publications by Czech as well as foreign authors were used as the source on the one hand and the latest findings resulting from randomized multicentric studies had to be found in journals specialized in kidney diseases and nourishment on the other hand. Nourishment recommendations for patients with chronic kidney failure, which are divided into low-protein diet in conservative therapy and limitation of nutrient intake in patients included in the haemodialysis programme, were elaborated upon the obtained information.

Separable reduction theorems in functional analysis
Cúth, Marek ; Holický, Petr (referee) ; Kalenda, Ondřej (advisor)
In the presented work we are studying, whether some properties of sets (functions) can be separably reduced. It means, whether it is true, that a set (function) has given property if and only if it has this property in a special separable subspace, dependent only on the given set (function). We are interested in properties of sets "be dense, nowhere dense, meager, residual and porous" and in properties of functions "be continuous, semicontinuous and Fréchet di erentiable". Out method of creating separable subspaces enables us to combine our results, and so we easily get separable reductions of function properties such as "be continuous on a dense subset", "be Fréchet di erentiable on a residual subset", etc. Finally, we show some applications of presented separable reduction theorems, which enable us to show, that some propositions proven by Zajíček, Lindenstrauss and Preiss hold under other assumptions as well.

Approaches to public service media in the new media environment : case of Czech Republic
Davidová, Michaela ; Šmíd, Milan (referee) ; Švelch, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the online media environment in the early 21st century, where various media platforms operate simultaneously and where ordinary users get better opportunity for representation. This study describes changing forms of the public sphere, which is recently developing into a networked public sphere. The thesis also explores the public service media, which are crucial mediators within the public sphere. Values and characteristics of the public service media changed in time. Qualitative research, executed on a group of online media, identifies the public service values. These values are compared and contrasted with the values of the online media, which could in future exercise the functions of the public service media. The objective of this study is to determine whether there is an alternative for the traditional public service media in the online environment.

Rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia: training of cognitive functions
Benešová, Miroslava ; Kulišťák, Petr (referee) ; Rodriguez Manchola, Mabel Virginia (advisor)
Rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia is currently an important part of the therapeutic care of individuals with psychotic disease. Its effectiveness is often limited by the cognitive deficits which people with schizophrenia have to face with also in their everyday lives. In the presented paper we outline the basic theoretical outcomes and specifics of the psychosocial rehabilitation and training of cognitive functions applied to the patients with schizophrenia. In the empirical part we concentrate on possible effects of the training program of cognitive functions in non-govt. organization o. s. Green Doors. During the study, which took 35 months, we managed to get complete research data from 20 non-resident patients who attended a three-month intensive cognitive training and from their 14 persons closely related. The research data were collected by means of administrated neuropsychological test battery, three self evaluating questionnaires focused on cognitive deficits and its influence on ordinary life, designed for the patients, and two questionnaires for evaluation by close people. These measures were administrated always at the beginning and at the end of the three-month training program. Statistical analysis of the collected data (n=20, nSO=14) indicated a significant improvement at the...

Convex functions and their generalization
Krtek, Jiří ; Červinka, Michal (referee) ; Hladík, Milan (advisor)
In the present work we study properties and relations between convex functions and their generalizations. We commence with definition of convex functions and we get to differentiability and searching for extreme points through basic properties as continuity. We continue with quasiconvex, explicitly quasiconvex and pseudoconvex functions. Through their definitions and basic properties we get to relations between them and convex functions. We can find even theorems about composition of these generalizations here, which enable us easier to find, whether given composite function is (explicitly) quasiconvex or pseudoconvex. This work also contains a section dedicated to minimalization of these generalizations. There are mentioned some other generalizations of convexity at the conclusion of this work, which aren't analyzed so much.

The role of radiology assistant during the examination of kidneys by methods of nuclear medicine
Urbánková, Petra ; Špalková, Ingrid (advisor) ; Vlček, Petr (referee)
This semestral work deals with the Nuclear Medicine Methods used in Neufrourology. Methods of Nuclear Neufrourology unable to get kidney and urinary tact function information and therefore they are very often used in disease diagnosis of listed organs for both adults and children. Singular methods are complementary to Morphology Monitor Methods. Each of them has its specific asset in particular diagnosis area and that's why it is very important to judge the results of these methods always in the complex overview. The most frequently used methods at Nuclear Medicine departments are Dynamic and Static Scintigraphical Kidney and urinary tract Examination. Dynamic Scintigraphy gives information about function and drain parameter of the kidney. It is possible to judge shape, size and position of the kidney. Sometimes the method includes the Furosemid Test, Renovascular Hyperthensis Diagnosis and examination of transplanted kidney. The responsibility of radiologic attendant during the execution of these diagnostic methods consists in right, accurate and understandable instructing the person under examination, imposition of the person, setting the detector and the execution of the study right after the RF application, which is executed by a pediatrist (for children under 3 years of age) or a nurse. The radiologic...
