New Versions of Jumping Automata
Ošmera, Lubomír ; Kocman, Radim (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is introduction and investigation of extended version of jumping automata. These versions are specified by strictly size and direction of jump. This thesis examine their power and perform comparison with other automata types. Also there are shown equivalent grammar models. Main motivation for this thesis are research and effort to improve some features of general jumping finite automata. This work consider using this automata types for specific language families and syntactic analysis process.

Dining traits of the elderly in tourism
Nováková, Kateřina ; Mlejnková, Lena (advisor) ; Netková, Jarmila (referee)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to perform an analysis on how dining needs of mature travellers are accomodated by chosen service providers. Based on the analysis the thesis evaluates the ability of the providers to individually tailor their services to mature guests. Subsequently, certain proposals for improvement are formulated. The analysis is performed on the four providers: an international cruise line specialised in elderly travels and three hotels situated in Prague. The thesis is composed of four parts. The first two parts serve as an introduction to the segment of mature travellers - their needs are identified and explained, also their travelling motivations are revealed. Last two parts are devoted to analysis of the services, summarization of the results and improvement proposals.

Secured network protocol HTTPS
Navrátil, Jiří ; Vokoun, Tomáš (advisor) ; Ulman, Miloš (referee)
Bachelor thesis explain the motivation behind extension of network protocol HTTP to the secured network protocol HTTPS. Thesis describe and compare protocols, which can be used for such extension. These protocols are compared and their known vulnerabilities are listed and commented. Results are used for recommendations to WWW servers administrators and to regular web browsers users. Thesis also include practical example of WWW server configuration with enabled secured network protocol HTTPS.

Network attached storages
Laciný, Jakub ; Vokoun, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pavlík, Jan (referee)
Bachelor thesis follows up the possibilities of using NAS in small companies and households. Theoretical part is devoted to the definition of basic concepts, introduction of device, analysis of basic and extending functions. It focuses primaly on analysis of suported comunication protocols, commonly used file systems and principles of function disk arrays. One section is dedicated to data backup and NAS server protection, marginally to wireless security, which is closely related with the theme, especially in terms of data misuse. In practical part, the basic services and setings are described at the first. In further steps, the applications and functions are introduced for their subsequent use as common user as small company.

Motivation as a leadership
Dalešická, Blanka ; Fiedler, Jiří (advisor)
The primary mission of the thesis ''Motivation as a leadership'' is to put forward basic management terms and concepts, and describe motivational strategies used by managers in practice. The dissertation is divided into several sections. The first one describes the elementary concepts of management and leadership in our culture. The section primarily focuses on management theory and motivational incentives needed to lead people. The following section describes motivational techniques in terms of psychology, and what their implications are in practical use. In the practical part which is created using the methodology of guided interview, five pre-selected senior managers and employers were assigned thirteen identical questions for the purpose of studying leadership in practice. The introduction of individual personalities and operations of their businesses is followed by a comparison. The information obtained from the comparison is contrasted with the theoretical data and a subjective view resulting from the assessment will be presented in the conclusion.

Epididymal maturation – a crucial step in the post-testicular sperm development
Postlerová, Pavla ; Pohlová, Alžběta ; Zigo, Michal ; Jonáková, Věra
Mammalian spermatozoa after their development in testis undergo the post-testicular maturation in epididymis where acquire their fertilization ability and competence of movement. The epididymis is tissue with very active fluid-absorbing and fluid-secreting activity. Epididymal fluid contains ions and small molecules, proteins, glycoproteins and enzymes. The surface of spermatozoa is exposed directly to the epididymal fluid, and the sperm plasma membrane is significantly changed. Some testicular proteins are altered, masked, or replaced by new proteins/glycoproteins of epididymal origin. Several proteins produced by epididymis have been described in various mammalian species and shown to be associated with spermatozoa suggesting a role in the sperm maturation and/or sperm-egg binding and fusion. We isolated proteins from fluid, tissue and sperm of boar epididymis, and separated them by chromatographic and electrophoretic methods. We searched for known proteins using panel of antibodies and tested proteins of epididymal fluid for binding abilities. In the epididymis, we found proteins described as proteins of seminal plasma and associated with the sperm surface, such as spermadhesins, beta-microseminoprotein and acrosin inhibitor. These proteins were detected in epididymal sperm, fluid and tissue. We showed that some epididymal proteins may bind the spermatozoa and change the binding sites on the sperm surface. We determined and identified some proteins from boar epididymal fluid with affinity to heparin, hyaluronan and zona pellucida glycoproteins. These phenomena indicate that epididymal fluid proteins bind to the sperm surface during epididymal maturation and might subsequently play role in the sperm capacitation or sperm-zona pellucida binding.

NP vyhledávací problémy a redukce mezi nimi
Ševčíková, Renáta ; Krajíček, Jan (advisor) ; Pudlák, Pavel (referee)
NP search problems and reductions among them Renáta Ševčíková In the thesis we study the class of Total NP search problems. More attention is devoted to study the subclasses of Total NP search problems and reductions among them. We combine some known methods: the search trees and their relation to re- ductions, the Nullstellensatz refutation and the degree lower bound based on design to show that two classes of relativized NP search problems based on Mod-p counting principle and Mod-q counting principle, where p and q are different primes, are not reducible to each other. This thesis is finished by a new separation result for p = 2 and q = 3.

Optical rotation and manipulation with nonspherical microobjects
Arzola, Alejandro V. ; Chvátal, Lukáš ; Šerý, Mojmír ; Jákl, Petr ; Brzobohatý, Oto ; Šiler, Martin ; Zemánek, Pavel
Manipulation with microscopic objects facilitated deeper understanding of the light-matter interaction and it also has found many unique applications in the microworld. Standard optical tweezer is probably the best known device,in which a tightly focused laser beam is used for the trapping of microobjects.Utilisation of the spatial light modulator for shaping the optical intensity distribution within the trapping beam enables optimisation of the force interaction with respect to the particle shape, size or number.

Studium stejnosměrných a střídavých charakteristik polyanilinu v závislosti na technologii přípravy
Varga, Martin ; Prokeš, Jan (advisor) ; Valentová, Helena (referee)
Our aim in the present work is to provide and evaluate AC and DC characteristics of the polyaniline based materials. Different experiemtal techniques and devices have been used to achieve this goal. An introduction to the theoretical concepts of conductivity is given as well. The core of this thesis is an investigation of temperature and low pressure dependences, as well as the ageing effects for two systems (composites) in respect of the different preparation conditions such as dopants and their molar concentration, origin and the content of inorganic component and the way of polymerisation. An agreement with theoretical models is discussed.

Analysis of motivation and satisfaction of employees
Šrámková, Jana ; Legnerová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Palíšková, Marcela (referee)
The aim of this Master's thesis is to analyse current state of work motivation and satisfaction of employees in a selected company and then propose measures to improve the situation. First, theoretical part introduces the basic concepts - motivation, selected theories of work motivation, stimulation, motivational programs and job satisfaction. Practical part includes introduction of the company in which the research was conducted and analysis of the research. Chosen methods for the research were questionnaire survey amongst all employees and individual interview with management of the company and selected sample of employees. Finally, the thesis consists of suggested recommendations for improving staff motivation and satisfaction.
