Values and Satisfaction of Workers
Knotková, Věra ; Surynek, Alois (advisor) ; Ticháková, Zuzana (referee)
This Bachelor's Thesis deals with the topic of values and job satisfaction. The goal of this thesis is to analyze relations between values and satisfaction of workers, and to determine the generalities concerning this topic. Theoretical part is divided into two sections referring to values and satisfaction. The first section provides definitions of values, possible classifications, historical progress etc. The second one consists of definitions of terms, such as satisfaction, work, and motivation. Then follow the factors affecting job satisfaction. The fields of values, satisfaction and motivation are bound together by Herzberg's motivation-hygiene theory. Practical part is composed of secondary analysis of relevant data derived from the two questionnaire surveys: "Work Orientation (ISSP 2005)" and the "European Values Study - ČR 2008". The data are analyzed using the method of grounded theory. In conclusion generalities based on this method are supplied.

Calvary

The thesis deals with the subject of Christ s journey with the cross. Separate interruptions remind us of the last moment of Jesus suffering on earth. The work begins with the sentencing of Jesus to death and ends with his placing in the tomb. Everything is executed with the technique of slumping glass on plaster forms. A possible fixture falls into the interior of a modern church or larger chapel, as well as into the exterior in the likeness of village chapels set up along the so-called The Hill of the Cross. The work is supplemented by a theoretical attachment with thematic description, inspirational sources and technological procedures.

Behavior of thermo-visco-elastic material 42-809 for production of vibrodamping segments - Part I
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Pešek, Luděk ; Fröhlich, Vladislav ; Vaněk, František ; Klášterka, Petr ; Cibulka, Jan
The report deals with the first results of rubber segment properties for vibrodamping of tram wheels. There are presented static and dynamic characteristics of force and deformation, changes of stiffness, temperature and loss factor with respect to number of cycles. In addition the growth of permanent deformation, lost of recovery, relaxation phenomena etc.

Touches
TŘEŠKOVÁ, Marie
The practical part of diploma work consist of five figurative paintings, medium and bigger sized, made with acrylic colors on the canvas. The whole painting set is called `` Touches{\crqq}. The reflection principle goes trough the entire work and is also the name of subtitle. The reflection is important in a symbolic sense while choosing particular motives and colorful paintings. Holá, Martina ; Janíčko, Martin (advisor) ; Kovářík, Tomáš (referee)
My bachelor work describes some empirical aspects of the problems of a business cycle. I am focused on monitoring, description and analysis of individual periods of a business cycle. Dealing with it I use some relevant macroeconomical indicators, which can have a role of detectors of cyclical changes in the economy of a particular country. First I describe and analyse the reasons of fluctuation of economical activity in form of supply and demand shocks. The fundamental indicator is a real production, approximative GDP, the rate of inflation, nominal interest rate and the deficit of a state budget. To show the fluctulation of economical activities more deeply I chose the Czech Republic from the year 1993. I am specially focused on the period when the Czech Republic was preparing for the entrance into EU. There is also descibed the context of stimulation demand of economics and its effect on former process of a business cycle.

Acoustic emission of cyclical loaded aircraft structures
Blaháček, Michal ; Skála, J.
Aircraft structures fatigue failure is considerable risk of today´s aviation safety. The problem is usually solved by critical parts preventive replacement, regardless of parts real state. It is very expensive and uneconomical solution. NDT method capable to find the changes in the part, that are indication of crack creation and growth, would be very useful and money saving.Acoustic emission (AE) is a NDT procedure that is candidate for the method. In the Aeronautical Research and Test Institute (VZLÚ) set of cyclical fatigue tests was done. During the test, loaded sample AE activity was monitored, during the loading sequence pauses, the sample state was checked using NDT methods such us ultrasound, eddy current, optical methods, non-linear ultrasound, etc. Presented paper attends to desription and analysis of AE measurement on cyclical loaded aircraft structure.

Investigation of friction effect on blades model II
Půst, Ladislav ; Veselý, Jan ; Horáček, Jaromír ; Radolfová, Alena
Dynamic and damping properties of a couple of blades modelled by prismatic cantilevers connected by friction element were measured. Two combinations of friction surfaces were used. Results of measurements of fiction characteristics are presented: hysteresis loops, lost energy in one cycle, coefficients of dry friction, equivalent coefficient of linear damping, etc.

The analysis of efficiency of the monetary policy and the impact on the Czech economic cycle in years 1995 - 2010
Jandová, Daniela ; Czesaný, Slavoj (advisor) ; Mládek, Josef (referee)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to examine the efficiency of monetary policy -- impact of monetary policy upon price stability - in relation to main target of Czech National Bank (CNB). The research approach is the analysis of monetary indicators -- price level, interest rates, money supply and exchange rate. In the context of the financial stability the thesis also analyzes another important function of CNB - supervision of Czech financial market using indicators of capital adequacy, banking sector liquidity, profitability of banks and volume of non-performing loans. Theoretical part of the thesis explores quantity theory of money, business (particularly monetary) cycle theories and further describes practical use of monetary policy with respect to the effect of central bank rates on market rates and further on output. Application of monetary rules, use of modern macroeconomic models and predictive apparatus are also topics which are theoretically held forth. The empirical part of the thesis researches monetary policy and supervision of CNB in every single year since 1995. In particular with emphasis on uniqueness Czech monetary policy, resulting from the transformational collision of the settings of exchange rate and monetary policy framework, and related influences remaining up to now.
