Historical trends in the care of the dying in the context of hospice care

The diploma thesis brings the results of the research which deals with the benefits of activation methods in the Center of Daily Services in Čerčany, as representatives of activation care for terminally ill clients from the inpatient hospice. The aim is to introduce this facility, which works with this specific group of patients and at the same time to map the benefits and limits of this form of care from the point of view of hospice employees in Čerčany and their clients. The theoretical part of the thesis deals not only with the definition of basic terms in palliative care, but also with activation methods that can be used where care is incurable for the terminally ill. The research part is devoted to the research, which is carried out among the hospice employees and its clients. It also brings their point of view of the benefits and limits which this form of care brings. The thesis uses the method of qualitative research. To obtain information there were used the method of participant observation, the semi-structured interview and the group discussion. The results are processed in the form of grounded theory. Using board games in the Czech language lessons in primary school

My diploma thesis on the Using board games in the Czech language lesson in primary school is divided into two parts. The first part deals with theoretical starting points based on experiential and constructivist pedagogy. It focuses on the game from several points of view - as a free activity and joy during life and as a didactic method in which pupils' education is realized, a class climate is formed and a board game is applied. Further there are described places where you can play board games outside the school environment. The second part is devoted to the production of my own board games and their subsequent use in the teaching of the Czech language in the fourth year of primary school. In conclusion, I reflect on their suitability for teaching, highlight their advantages, possible pitfalls and suitable variations and forms of gradation. This diploma thesis is focused on Using Activation Methods by Students on the Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in their running and continuous educational stays. In a theoretical part there are described educational methods, the attention is focused on activation methods. There are described individual types of these methods, functions, individual phases and concrete examples. A practical part is focused on concrete using of activation methods during running and continuous educational stays. In the diploma thesis was used the method of questionnaire. The aim of this thesis was getting answers on research questions.
Inquiry-based mathematics education on primary school level

This diploma thesis is focused on incorporating inquiry based mathematics education in lower primary school. The term inquiry based education has been defined and specific signs of this education in mathematics have been found. Some tasks leading to inquiry have been identified with the help of textbooks of Fraus publishing. These tasks have been used to create lesson plans for this kind of education. Chosen lesson plans have been applied in practice and the decision about their usability has been made. Results of these lessons have been described in the evaluation. Stated findings lay the ground for primary teachers to involve inquiry based mathematics education in their lessons.

Theoretical part deals with issues of teaching methods and their respective classification. Practical part is based on a survey amended with a conversation method. Aim of this thesis is to describe which teaching methods are used during classes of civic education at elementary schools and social sciences at high schools.

The work is processed topic dealing with the design of training teachers for using activation methods. The impetus for the development of the thesis was to develop education and related social demands of society for high school graduates. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis is to develop a literary review focused on the issue of activating teaching methods and preparation of teachers for teach-ing. For processing the theoretical part of the thesis are used in professional litera-ture and Internet sources. Methods used for processing the theoretical part of the analysis, comparison and synthesis. The practical part of the thesis is to design a lesson preparation for voca-tional school so as to preserve all the essentials and thematic lesson plan. On the basis of curricula Higher Vocational Schools and Secondary Schools veterinary, agricultural and medical Trebic were created three proposals on the teaching of which are intended for the subject Nutrition and Dietetics animal veterinary field where the subject is taught in the third and fourth year. Methods used in the prac-tical part of the analysis, comparison and synthesis.
Competencies of a lecturer using activation methods in adult education

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the definition of lecturers' competences in adult education that uses a participative style of teaching. The current state of professionalization of lecturers in the Czech Republic will be explored alongside the definition of lecturer using activation methods in adult education and lecturer's competences within this thesis. The basic description of the commonly used activation teaching methods and the high teaching requirements of these methods will also be illustrated. Finally, this thesis introduces the competence model using the activation methods in adult education with a possible schema of the model usage in the real world. Inovative approaches in education at primary school

My diploma thesis is focused to innovative approaches in primary schools, and specifically the methods of critical thinking. It describes the theoretical basis of methods of critical thinking, dealing with three-phase model of learning and program Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking. This thesis treats individual critical thinking methods used in conventional lessons non- specialist primary schools. The empirical part of the action research was conducted in the Lauder school in Prague, where the author works as the class teacher. Investigations Research investig of pupils author explores how specific methods is using in the classroom perceive subjectively by pupils. Form of a questionnaire aimed at teachers find out how often teachers use these methods into their lessons, and if the methods of critical thinking are actually effective. The data obtained from the empirical investigation are presented in written and graphical form and are interpreted with regard to the theoretical background of this thesis.

Teaching skeletal-muscular system in high schools This thesis is devoted to the methods which are applicable to the teaching of biology. The aim of the thesis is to find out which methods are used at two distinctive high schools, compare and contrast them by the use of the students' feedback. It is devoted to the comparison of ŠVP of three subjects and student books that are used there. The practical part is based on the discussion with teachers and questionnaires for students that consequently serve as work sheets. Finally, the thesis compares the attitudes of students and teachers, and way of teaching at grammar school and vocational school.
Didactic educational games for chemistry in our and foreign publications

RESLOVÁ, M.: Didactic educational games for chemistry in our and foreign publications. Bachelor theses. Prague: Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Science, Department of Teaching and Didactics of Chemistry, 2013. This work focus on research of educational games for teaching chemistry in our and foreign publications. The term didactic educational game includes both games (crosswords, quizzes, card games and more) that only serve to repeat and consolidate the subject matter. In addition, this category includes various tasks, enabling students to understand some chemical laws that they can not easily imagine. In these tasks, subjects from the micro world are replaced by models from the macro world. Students working with models, understand and in some cases derives selected chemical laws - this is called inqury-based education. Didactic educational games belongs among the modern methods of activation which could work with student's experience.
