LIDAR sensing of the atmosphere: application to CO2 detection

Znalost o prostorovém rozložení, koncentraci a zdrojích CO2 v atmosféře je klíčová k pochopení přírodního cyklu oxidu uhličitého, k předpovědi vývoje a vlivu CO2 na klimatické změny. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou optického dálkového snímání za použití LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systému. Obsahuje potřebné teoretické znalosti o LIDAR systému, použití a principy. Z mnoha aplikací využívající LIDAR je v této práci nastíněno provedení a měření pomocí DIAL (Differential Absorption LIDAR) systému určeného k určení koncentrace CO2 v atmosféře, tak i využití dalších aktivních či pasivních způsobů snímání CO2.

Wood carving decorations in the interiors of the castle Hluboká and their context in Bohemia and Moravia

This bachelor thesis presents a detailed study of wood carving development in the interior of the chateau Hluboká nad Vltavou. These woodcarvings were made during 19th century, between the years 1838-1871. Artwork drafts for these carvings were made by the Viennese sculptor František Schroth, along with Franz Beer. Carving work itself was realized by Jan Vondruška, Jakub Zeiner, Jan Pták, and more. The work is largely focused on the architect's influence on woodcarvings, as well as their own carving and their relationship to the overall interior decoration including inlaid parquets. An integral part of the theicsis is a written selective catalog of discussed rooms in the chateau Hluboká, including rooms of compared castles - Lednice and Sychrov. The second and main subject of the study is specially comparison of interior woodcarvings in the castle Hluboká to interior woodcarvings in castles Lednice and Sychrov.

Tato diplomová práce na téma Finanční analýza (metody) se zabývá aplikací vybraných metod finanční analýzy na konkrétní podnik. Důležitou součástí je interpretace výsledků metod a porovnání s běžnými hodnotami v oboru. Na tomto základě je potom zhodnoceno celkové finanční hospodaření společnosti. Vybraným podnikem je leader na českém trhu s lihovinami, společnost STOCK Plzeň a. s. Z aplikovaných metod jmenujme například horizontální a vertikální analýzu, poměrové ukazatele, atd. a dále potom metody komplexního hodnocení jako metoda vědecké Schmalenbachovy společnosti, IN indey, Altmanův model a další. Součástí práce je také shrnutí aplikace těchto metod na zvolený podnik. Z výsledků analýzy vyplývá dobré finanční zdraví společnosti STOCK Plzeň a. s.

Molecular genetic and biochemical studies of selected inherited metabolic disorders, development and applications of new methods

Inherited metabolic disorders (IMD) form a diverse group of several hundred different diseases with a relatively high cumulative incidence (stated up to 1:600). They are associated with accumulation of the substrates and lack of the products in specific metabolic pathways, which is caused by deficiency of the enzyme or its activator, or dysfunction of the transport protein. However, the underlying cause is at the DNA level. The grounds for different phenotype manifestation in patients with the same genotype are often not known. During my work at the Institute of Inherited Metabolic Disorders, I designed several new methods for the research of IMD and applied them in the patients and their families. I created procedures for the isolation of lysosomal membranes that are used for the research of lysosomal storage disorders and general properties of lysosomes. Next, I introduced several novel assays for determination of the X-inactivation ratio, which led to a significant increase of informative women. Nowadays, we use these methods in heterozygous women with X-linked diseases in order to study the influence of X-inactivation on the manifestation of the diseases. This bachelor work is concerned with design of the remedy, how to improve the market position of the firm. In the first part of this work principles of Economy are used as initial view. Subsequent second part of work utilizes Economy principles for MISVO TRANS s.r.o. company dates. The result of this work is to design changes in the firm to reduce costs and to solve company problems to be able to survive in the time recession and prosper in the future.

On the basis of ascertained informations and evaluation of the contemporary state of company is determined the proposal of possible directions of development of company, with a view to innovation her position in the marketplace and suppression of weak pages of company.

ÚHRADY VÁZANÉ NA AKCIE VE SVĚTLE MEZINÁRODNÍCH STANDARDŮ ÚČETNÍHO VÝKAZNICTVÍ

První část práce je krátkým úvodem do problematiky harmonizace účetního výkaznictví ve světe. Cílem je shrnout dosavadní vývoj světového účetnictví, popsat směry v jakých probíhal, motivy jejich tvůrců a výsledky jejich aktivit. Další kapitola je bližším pohledem na Mezinárodní standardy účetního výkaznictví a jejich uplatňování v současnosti. V závěru je přiložen přehled aktuálně platných standardů a k nim vydaných interpretací. Jádrem práce je účetní standard IFRS 2, který řeší problematiku transakcí spojených s úhradami vázanými na hodnotu akcií. Práce dokumentuje základní teoretické principy standardu a jejich aplikaci v praxi.

Analysis of the approaches of Central and Eastern European countries towards their membership in the Banking union

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the approaches of countries in Central and Eastern European region towards their membership in the Banking Union. The selected topic has been investigated based on structural characteristics of the banking sectors of the impacted countries. The comparison of these characteristics resulted in identification of inconsistencies between the 2 standpoints (Opt-in and Opt-out). The thesis monitors the motivation of banks in choosing or changing the legal form of 'their' banks in host markets. The work identifies areas in which the host government can act to prevent banks from converting into branches, thus retaining the regulatory powers in local authorities. The thesis in the first 2 chapters maps the first and the second pillar of the Banking Union, Single Supervisory Mechanism and the Single Resolution Mechanism respectively. Furthermore, it summarizes the results of the European Central Bank in carrying out the Comprehensive Assessment exercise.

Analysis of the balance of payments of the Kazakhstan in 2005-2015

This bachelor thesis is based on the analysis of Kazakhstan's balance of payments from 2005 to 2015 due to the availability of data. The aim of thesis is to analyse the balance of payments of Kazakhstan, to investigate the reasons of that development and then define the external economic balance. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the concept of balance of payments, its structure and individual accounts. Furthermore, in the first part are characterized external economic balance, individual balances of balance of payments, international investment position and external debt of the country. The practical part is mainly focused on analysing the development of the individual accounts and evaluation of the external economic balance of Kazakhstan.

This diploma thesis Business plan: Flats for rent to foreign tourists shows the reader the solution of business plan and project management in the real world. Theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the basic structure of a business plan, financial part of this diploma thesis and shortly describes the legal issues of rent the flat in the Czech Republic. Everything is applied in the practical part of this thesis, where the project is described, after that analysis of the inner and outer environment are made. The next chapter describes in detail the conditions for the implementation of marketing strategy. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to financial plan, in which are calculated few scenarios of the business idea and possible risks of this project. The processing of the business plan is focused on practical application and is designed as instructions on how to start a business in this subject.
