The Evaluation of the Realization of the Plan of Social Service in a Chosen Locality

Bachelor thesis analyzes and evaluates the community plan and its implementation in the region of Domazlice. It uses a methodology that was developed for the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. It focuses on the evaluation of criteria of quality of process planning of social services. It works with analyses, which were an essential base for the foundation of a plan, which led to the development of social services. This methodology was applied to the conduct of community planning of social services development in the region of Domažlice. The work offers the way how to improve further cycle of community planning.

Criminology prevention in the frame of primary school curriculum in Czech Republic

This theses focuses on how the criminology prevention in the frame of primary school curriculum in Czech republic is organized and what importance do the primary school teachers in Prague attache to it. In the practical part, the theses addresses criminology knowledge, with special focus on bullying at school, Labour and Social Welfare Departement's stratégy on criminology prevention, it's implementation in school subject such as Citizenship Education and Human and it's World (throught comparative analyses of textbooks content), and criminology prevention in workshops of Policy and providers of primary prevention programs (throught comparative analyses of program contents). It also samples some uccessfull criminology prevention programs abroad. In theoretical part, the theses focuses on evaluation qvantitative datas of an exploring coil, which investigated what importance do the primary school teachers in Prague attache to criminology prevention in primary school curicullum and how they evaluate it's organization. As conclusion , some recommendations are mentioned for criminology prevention enhancement within primary school curriculum framework and proposals for further research within issue.

Mining limits and their effect on labour market in the region of Most

This Bachelor Thesis is about the mining limits for brown coal mining at the region of Most and problems that could arise if there was a decrease in mining in the region. Although the issue is discussed more and more often, it cannot be considered as solved. This work should serve as deeper insight into the problem and it is primarily trying to answer the questions about potential social issues that are connected with the mining and its possible ending. One of core parts is an analysis of subjects at institutional level. Its purpose is an evaluation of solutions that were suggested by participating subjects.

Education towards providing of crisis intervention in personal assistance

Master thesis is based on long personal experience in position of methodologist and director for provider of personal assistance. In the theoretical part I first of aU describe crisis and crisis interventi on in general. Then I focused on personal assistance and its specifics in the Czech Republic, on personal assistants, who they are, what the conditions for their work are and who the c1ients of personal assistance are. Next part of my thesis deals with crisis that could exist in personal assistance and also with the question by whom and under what conditions can be crisis intervention provided. Then, based on these data, I suggest special crisis intervention seminar for workers in social services. The empiric part of the thesis represents assemble of data about c1ients of personal assistance, personal assistants and crisis events in personal assistance coUected in the last 3 years. The last part of this thesis is completely filled application for accreditation of the proposed course for Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Cz ech Republic.

Unemployment of person with tertiary education within the District of Pelhrimov

The work is concerned with unemployment of persons with higher and university education in the job market within the District of Pelhrimov. It focuses on price rating, social position, educational structure, as well as on total quality of life. Regular monitoring system of employees income level in the Czech Republic is used to evaluate opportunities in the job market. The work is also partly concerned with tertiary education reforms that in a certain way impact and will impact on opportunities for these persons in the job market. It analyzes the local job market investigated with assistance of Employment Office in Pelhrimov and it also partly affects graduate unemployment and evaluates views of eight employers in this market. On the basis of data supplied by Ministery of Labour and Social Affairs and subsequent comparison with results of employers investigation questionnaire, the assumption that in the job market there is not enough interest in persons with bachelor's degree or higher education was confirmed.

Flexicurity in the European Union

This thesis deals with the concept of flexicurity, which represents a modern approach to the issues of labour market in the European Union. The main goal of the thesis is to identify if, why and in which ways should the members of the European Union use flexicurity as a part of their employment policies. In order to fulfill this goal, a general part is presented first, then a practical example is used and finally there is an application part, which again results in general conclusions. The first chapter describes the theoretical framework of flexicurity and history of the European employment policy. The second chapters evaluates functioning of flexicurity in practice using Denmark as an example. The third and at the same time the last chapter clusters European countries according to their social models and presents recommendations on how to apply flexicurity accordingly.

The position of the EU in the world economy: comparison with USA and Japan

The main purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the current status of the European Union as one of the most influential players in the global economy. The analysis uses comparison with the other two major world powers -- USA and Japan. The first part is focused on the performance of the economies in terms of absolute production (GDP) and economic growth. The chapter then identifies the impact of growth on employment, price stability and public finances and defines the major economic and social problems. The second chapter assesses the EU's external relations based on the trade performance and capital flows. It also analyzes the participation in the international transfer of science and technology and labour migration. The aim of the last chapter is to assess the current position of the EU in the world by comparison with the world indicators. Considering this comparison, the chapter defines the main EU problems as particularly decreasing competitiveness in the context of crisis and rapid onset of developing countries. In this chapter are then reported and presented ways how to overcome these problems.

The Necessity of Pension System Reform in Czech Republic

This paper is dedicated to pension system reform in Czech Republic. First, theoretical part sums up legal framework of current czech pension system. It is focused particularly on Act no. 155/1995 Col. about pension insurance. In the next part is an outlook on three other european pension systems. Netherlands, Portugal and Hungary. Final part describes the state of our current pension system, prognosis about the future development, identifies biggest problems of current system and presents sollutions to them. Data used in this paper were obtained from official servers of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Ministry of Finance of Czech Republic. Data regarding foreign pension systems were obtained from official server of OECD.

The labour market of the Usti Region.

The thesis is dealing with labour market and unemployment in the selected region in the Czech Republic, which is the Usti Region. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of labour market in the selected region in the years 2005-2013 with the focus on the markers of unemployment, the fall of some professions and the position of risky groups on the labour market. The thesis is divided into three parts. First one characterises the selected region and gives information about the area. The second part is theoretical and its purpose is to explain the terms related to the topic of labour market and unemployment. The third part is the practical one, which should target the above stated aim of my thesis. The analysis in the practical part is based on the published data by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Czech Statistical Office.

Women between family and work. Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague

Diploma thesis "Women between family and work: Conditions for harmonization of work and family in Prague" is focused on current problem which is being dealt with on national as well as supranational level. The aim of this thesis is to describe the factors influencing harmonization of family and professional life of the mothers with children from two to six years old in region of Prague and find out whether the policy of state and regional governments reflect these factors. Chosen factors are described from the macro perspective but individual influences are also dealt with. On one hand the attention is allocated to state policy, especially from the point of view of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, but also from the point of selected municipality - municipal authority of Prague and municipality Prague 17.
