Non-competition clause in the Czech Republic and in chosen states of the European Union Resumé The employee has a duty of faithful service and is obliged not to compete with his employer in the course of their labour relationship. Once the relationship has come to an end, the employer could have interest to protect his business and his proprietary rights, such as a trade secret, a secret process, confidential information or customer connections, since the disclosure of them by his ex-employee could damage his business and his position in the labour market. That is the reason why the contractual parties conclude the non-competition clause (or restrictive covenant) within a contract of employment (or within a special contract) whereby the employee undertakes that he will accept a restraint about where he works and for whom, for a period of time after he has left the employment relationship. Generally the employer has a duty to pay monetary compensation in order to compensate such a restraint of the employee. Protection of Citizens during Emergency Situations

My bachelor thesis is dealing with the Protection of Citizens during Emergency Situations. I used domestic as well as foreign literature sources over the past ten years. Part of presented sources, were elaborated with help of the Moravian Library Brno according to theme and key words. My thesis provides fundamental phrases and basic information about protection of citizens and its using at present time and in history. My bachelor thesis is dealing with adequate balance between protection and constriction of citizens, in application of civil protections procedures and equipment. Bachelor thesis also contains a proposal of expansion of responsibilities for civil defence authorities and finally proposal of state-of-the-art information system capable to spread emergency warning and instruction.

Design and implementation of vehicle routing problem software library

Various types of transportation issues are a common practice. The issue may be approached mainly as the distribution of products from suppliers to consumers while minimising distribution costs. The difference of real transportation issues predominantly relates to the considered restrictions, such as capacities of vehicles and orders, time windows and other special distribution restrictions. There are some specialized commercial products for optimizing distribution costs presented on the market. These are often part of larger frameworks, which also provides other services such as vehicle tracking, warehouse location, ride statements etc. These products provide cloud services fully customized according to the customer. This work aims to design and construct an open source software library for solving vehicle routing problem, which will be able to reflect requirements of simplicity, scalability and portability. The constructed library can serve not only as an open source solution for vehicle routing problems, but also as a tool for testing new methods studied on university premises. The work is divided into several parts. In the first part we define the goals of this work, we define the vehicle routing problem and we describe the principles of the solution. In the next section, we propose the structure of the software, we discuss the choice of aids and document a design phase. The last part deals with the implementation phase, validation phase and real use of the software.

The thesis work deals with the system of linking-up education of librarians, which is implemented through the region's education centres which work in the county libraries.In this centre there is National Library of The Czech Republic, which in the partnership of the professional institutions digestedly operates and coordinates the function of the provided services which are operate by regional centres.The target is to provide relevant information, which might be use while framing the education activities of librarian regional centres.The part of my work is the research aimed to analyze of the partial implications, which might effect the quality and the enforcement of its function.

Regional function of the Regional Library in Pardubice in the region

Bakalářská práce "Regionální funkce Krajské knihovny v Pardubicích v rámci kraje" se zabývá metodickou činností krajské knihovny a knihoven pověřených výkonem RF. Jejím cílem je přiblížit krajskou knihovnu a pověřené knihovny z pohledu činností v rámci kraje a ukázat dopad a využití regionálních funkcí v různých typech knihoven. Práce je členěna do pěti hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole je představena krajská knihovna, její historie a počátky metodické činnosti. V druhé kapitole práce seznamuje s pokyny a doporučeními pro tuto činnost. Jádro práce tvoří především třetí kapitola, která se zabývá sledováním plnění standardů výkonu RF v kraji v letech 2003-2007, krátce představuje pověřené knihovny a jejich okresní metodickou práci v roce 2007. Praktické zkušenosti se službami RF ve dvou malých knihovnách jsou uvedeny ve čtvrté kapitole. Závěrečná, pátá kapitola shrnuje a hodnotí výkon RF v Pardubickém kraji.

Guiding is for many people not an easily understood business. There are many opinions and views on how people become familiar with the details of this profession. They may understand that this work is interesting, funny and adventurous. In addition, they may understand that the preparation for guides is demanding, requiring a lot of study. Most importantly, guiding is about the transmission of information, the education of clients. The theoretical part of my bachelor's work emphasizes the guide's personality and all the qualities required for this work. The practical part will be the evaluation from the professional guides about their work.

Regional function of libraries in Pilsen region

Hlavním tématem rigorózní práce je výkon regionálních funkcí v Plzeňském kraji. Celý text je dělen na dvě části. První, teoretická část se věnuje jak metodické činnosti v českých knihovnách před rokem 1989, jehož součástí je i zákon č. 53/59 Sb., o jednotné soustavě knihoven, tak novému krajskému systému knihoven ČR, který vychází ze zákona č. 271/2001 Sb., o knihovnách a podmínkách provozování knihovnických informačních služeb. V textu je dále popsána definice a krátký vývoj regionálních funkcí, jejich struktura a financování. Z teoretické části vychází praktická část o výkonu regionálních funkcí v Plzeňském kraji. Na analýzu stavu knihoven a poznatky z počátků zavádění výkonu regionálních funkcí navazuje hodnocení dalších let výkonu regionálních funkcí, která byla financována ze státního rozpočtu. Zásadním mezníkem je pak změna financování výkonu regionálních funkcí a z toho vyplývající důsledky. Závěr práce je věnován výhledům do budoucna. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The regional function of the municipal library in Sušice

Tématem bakalářské práce je charakteristika a rozbor regionálních funkcí Městské knihovny v Sušici. Práce se skládá ze 4 hlavních kapitol a přílohové části. Úvodní kapitola se zaměřuje na problematiku regionálních funkcí, vymezení základních pojmů, cílů a standardů pro jejich výkon. Dále je představena Městská knihovna v Sušici. Nastíněn je její vývoj, popsány jsou služby knihovny. Třetí kapitolou je průzkum provedený v obsluhovaných knihovnách spadajících pod výkon regionálních funkcí Městské knihovny v Sušici. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná zhodnocení stavu obsluhovaných knihoven. V přílohách je formulář smlouvy o poskytování regionálních služeb mezi zřizovatelem obsluhované knihovny a zřizovatelem pověřené knihovny, dále smlouva o přenesení regionálních služeb, seznam profesionálních a neprofesionálních knihoven a fotografie z některých obsluhovaných knihoven. Reglementace u nás v 19. a na po átku 20. století nebyla nijak zvláš úsp šná, viz její studie v ásti tvrté. Ideální úprava prostituce ovšem neexistuje, resp. dosud nebyla "vynalezena". Zkušenosti s abolicí ukázaly, že tento systém neumož uje prostituci nijak pozitivn regulovat. Skute nost je pak úpln v rozporu s tím co je v zákon , resp. je jiná, než by m la podle zákona být. Tak podle aboli ního zákona jsou sice nev stince zrušeny, ale nap íklad v našem hlavním m st je jich možné vid t bezpo et. Skrývají se za eufemistické názvy jako nap íklad erotické salony, nebo nightcluby, apod. Prostitutky samy se ozna ují za "erosenky". Stávající právní úprava je odrazem pokrytectví, se kterým se k tomuto problému po desítky let p istupuje. Abolice naprosto selhává i v boji proti pohlavním nemocem, sv d í o tom mimo jiné statistiky, které uvádím v p íloze. Znovuzavedení reglementace bude úsp šné, jen pokud se orgány ve ejné moci pou í z chyb a omyl , které p i aplikaci tohoto systému vznikaly. To bude znamenat p edevším dokonalou kontrolu dodržování podmínek a omezení stanovených pro výkon tohoto povolání, a dále vymezení t chto podmínek tak, aby jednání v rozporu se zákonem...

Alternatives to unconditional term of imprisonment

The name of my thesis is Alternatives of unconditional sentence of imprisonment. For this is a very wide topic, I concentrated on community service sentence, monetary fines, activity prohibition punishment and conditional postponement of the performance of a sentence of imprisonment. Further, I dealt with some new sentences of home confinement and ban on activities such as attending sport, social or cultural events, as well as diversion from standard criminal proceeding. The thesis is divided into ten chapters, some of which are divided into subchapters for better lucidity. First chapter concerns with a present situation in prison service in the Czech Republic as well as in the world. The sentence of imprisonment has besides undeniable positive also some negative sites, which can be minimized by various alternatives of this sentence. Hereafter I already deal with individual punishments. The most extensive chapter discusses community service sentence, which is a second most frequently imposed alternative punishment. Substantive law and procedural law presumptions of its imposition are analyzed, as well as postponement, suspense and refraining from this punishment and its regulation in a new Criminal Code.
