Advanced use of BIM in building design
Nováček, Michal ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Remeš, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with a Building Information Model (BIM) and its advanced use in construction practice. It focuses on the usage of BIM model in the determination of pressure drop in ventilation pipelines. An application able to calculate the pressure drop in a pipeline branch based on the geometrical parameters of the BIMs of structures was created within the work.
Working out of methodology for creation of building information mode
Sládková, Veronika ; Černý, Martin (referee) ; Hanzl, Vlastimil (advisor)
The subject of thesis was creation of methodic for building information modeling methods specified. The buildings were surveyed at first or projects drawing were provided. Processing of survey data and building information modeling was done in software Revit 2014 with program extensions. Subsequently chosen methods of creation were described and they were compared with each other. The result can use for selection the most appropriate method on the basis function and targeted funds.
Publication of a building information model (BIM) in the Unreal Engine game environment
Szopa, Jan ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelors theses deals with the creation of realistic scene in game engine Unreal Engine 5.1. Theoretical part focuses on the technology of laser scanning, building information modeling and its implementation in Czech legislation. Practical part contains description of process of 3D modeling in Revit on the base of a point cloud acquired by laser scanning, its transfer to Unreal Engine 5.1 and following creation of scene in said programme. The output is 3D model of the object and a video of the final scene.
Laser scanning for building information modeling (BIM)
Kocourek, Adam ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the creation of an information model of a part of a historical building of the rectory in the village of Cetkovice based on a point cloud. The thesis includes creation of geometrically and visually accurate window and door families according to the real-life template, taking into account the benefits of this approach for conservation purposes. In addition to the resulting model of a part of the building, the main outputs of the thesis include visualizations created in the Twinmotion software. This thesis also evaluates practical and economic feasibility of the potential outputs of the model.
Modelling a rectory building in the Revit program
Chladil, Martin ; Hanzl,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to make the construction documentation of the part of the historical building using modern means. Data capture was done by laser scanning with a test of an automatic scan registration and a georeferencing in the field. The building was modelled in Revit as a BIM (Building Information Modelling) model. A certain degree of generalization of shapes and capture of details was used during creation. Subsequently the construction drawings were completed from the model for the customer purposes.
Building Information Model (BIM) visualization capabilities in the Unreal Engine gaming environment
Fučík, Vojtěch ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Volařík, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creating of an information model and subsequent visualizations of sv. Cyril and Metoděj chapel in Brno Bohunice, based on data obtained predominantly by laser scanning. The theoretical part of thesis deals with description of concepts related to an information model and description of methods used for obtaining such data for its creation. The practical part describes the usage of methods for data collection, process of creating the informational model and creation of visualizations. The outputs of the thesis are model and visualizations of the chapel.
Terrain creation in the Revit program
Meluzín, Tomáš ; Volařík, Tomáš (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the creation of a digital terrain model in AutoDesk Revit software. It explores the three options for creating a digital terrain model offered by Revit. Terrain modeling based on contour lines, inputting elevation points directly in Revit, and modeling based on an imported text file with coordinates. The input data for the first mentioned option, contour lines, was created in AtlasDMT software. This process is also described in the thesis. The thesis is devided into two parts. The first part focuses on Digital terrain model issues and related data collection methods, and the second part provides a detailed procedure for creating a digital model in Revit. The outcome of this thesis is a digital terrain model of the surrounding area of the object of interest and a site plan of this area.
Weightlifting club Brno
Dvořáček, Jakub ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The main task of the diploma thesis is to design a new nearly zero-energy olympic weightlifting gym. It’s located in Brno-Bystrc. It has two floors with a capacity of 80 people. The building is V-shaped with 165°. The load-bearing system is made of aerated concrete walls, reinforced concrete columns, slabs, and a foundation. The facade is designed from oxidated metal cladding and glass panels with metal framing. The building is covered by a green extensive flat roof. Heat water is provided by 2 ground-water heat pumps and one electric boiler. The whole building is heated/cooled by a combination of warm/cold floors and three HVAC units. The electricity supply is provided by photovoltaic panels, located on the roof. The third part of this diploma thesis is dedicated to automation in building designs, especially the usage of visual programming.
Construction site equipment design in BIM projects
Havlena, Šimon ; Trtílek, Petr (referee) ; Biolek, Vojtěch (advisor)
Site equipment is the sum total of all buildings and facilities on a construction site to ensure the economical execution of construction and assembly work and to meet the social and hygienic needs of workers. The thesis deals with modern approaches of construction site facilities and the main objective of the thesis is to design a form of construction site equipment and then validate it using a 3D model in a BIM platform.
Kindergarten
Simanova, Liubov ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new kindergarten in the city of Brno. The kindergarten is designed for day care for children aged 2-6 years. The total capacity of the kindergarten is 48 children. The building is twostory and consists of two functional parts. One of the parts is administrative. It houses the offices of the managing staff, as well as classrooms for teaching children. There are also technical rooms for the installation of equipment. In another part of the building there are classrooms for children with bathrooms. The roof of the building is flat and exploited. The vertical load-bearing walls of the aboveground floor are made of ceramic bricks (Porotherm brick system). The walls of the stairwell are made of reinforced concrete C20/25 and reinforcement B500B. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete C20/25 with reinforcement B500B. As a source of heating, the building uses a heat pump. It is located in the technical room. The "DUPLEX 5500 Multi Eco" recovery system is used as a ventilation source. Rooms for children are heated with underfloor heating. Also in the rooms for children are installed: ontrolling lighting down to individual receptacles, opening/closing shades and drape. There is a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the building. On the territory there are several play areas for children to walk, as well as parking for staff. In the analytical part of the work, the assessment of the quality of the building in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction by SBToolCZ methodology was conducted. A certificate of quality of the building was established. The kindergarten project was carried out in the Revit program. All structures comply with the valid standards and regulations.
