Possibilities of influencing mobility in the hip joint during physical education at elementary school.

Title: Possibilities of influencing mobility in the hip joint during physical education at elementary school. Objectives: Verification of the effectiveness of the proposed set of exercises applied in elementary school classes. Methods: Methods of measurement, testing, observation were used for the elaboration of the diploma thesis. Results: For motoric mobility tests in the area of the hip joint (inclination in the standing position and deep seat inclination) an improvement was found in the test file after application of the proposed set of exercises by 26 %. In the case of motorized lifts (right, left) and frontal splint, the improvement was significantly lower, by 8 % and 2 %. The Teaching of Portuguese in Cape Verde (in primary education)

In this study I focused on the education of Portuguese language on the islands of Cape Verde, especially in range of basic education. In order to achieve this purpose there are historical, cultural and linguistic correlations mapped, which are influencing local inhabitants and their use of languages. Most of all the study focuses on the differences in circumstances, in which creole and Portuguese are used. Furthermore the cape Verdean educational system is described with a special attentiveness to the educational language, individual levels of educational system, the education of Portuguese language and the training of pedagogues, such as current tendencies of education. The executed questionnaire confirms the already achieved conclusions. Apart from that was discovered, that the implementation of education in creole is planned for long time, but until now couldn't be forced, especially because of problems caused by differences between creole on individual islands. The contribution of this study is a complex recapitulation of cultural and linguistically conditions and their influences on present situation in terms of the education of Portuguese language and general overview of the use of languages in the educational system of Cape Verde.

Knowledge about reproductive health at stage 2 of the selected primary school

This master thesis focuses on the knowledge of reproductive health among middle schoolers in the targeted middle schools in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my work, I define the term of reproduction health, describe physiology of female and male genitals, disorders in reproductive health, and types of methods -natural invasive- offered by anticonception. Another part of my thesis concerns on reproductive health related to a prostitution, and a sexual abuse, and pregnancy impact on teenage girls' bodies during pubescence. I track the representation of teaching reproductive health in middle schools through RSVP and its main goals in certain areas and key competencies. The goal of my thesis was to map out the knowledge of reproductive health among the students who have been taught this knowledge through a class. As a research methodology, I used a survey that was distributed among middle schoolers in the sixth to eight grades. The results of my survey show that the eighth graders have the most amount of knowledge about reproductive health, but somehow still lower than one might expect. Vertification of proposed standards for physical education in school practice

Title: Verification of proposed standards for physical education in school practice Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to analyze knowledge, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of ninth grade elementary school pupils , according to the RVP ZV standards suggested for physical education. Methods: questionnaires were used to obtain data and they were analyzed afterwards Results: The results of the analysis does not correspond with the expectations that students have sufficient knowledge of activities and its influence on their health in the classes of physical education. According to the Physical education teachers, students' attitude towards physical education is rather negative. Pupils have insufficient general theoretical knowledge on this field and it would be useful to enforce (upcoming) standards into classes of physical education in the Czech republic. . Importance of Probiotics in the Diet of Pupils in the Second Stage of Basic Education

Positive effect of probiotics consumption on human health was discovered at the beginning of the last century. A number of scientific studies continuously test and clarify this effect to discover more types of probiotic microorganisms and thereby bring new probiotic food and food supplements to the market. The question is, if increasing public awareness and interest corresponds with recent tendency. This study includes theoretical background of the probiotics issue, biological basis, history and technology of probiotics microorganism and discussion of positive effects on consumer's health. The other aim of the study is to find out what knowledge has secondary school students about probiotics and also what role plays probiotics in their lives. TITLE: Knowledge and attitudes towards HIV / AIDS among adolescents in the selected region AUTHOR: Bc. Magdalena Sajdlová DEPARTMENT: Department of education and social education, department of health education SUPERVISOR: Peadr. Eva Marádová, Csc. ABSTRACT: The thesis is divided into the two parts. The first part describes basic information about HIV and AIDS - the essence of the disease, transmission of disease, method of spreading the principles of diagnosis, therapy options. I describe the basic principles of prevention for a wide strata of the population and the basic principles of teaching, education and prevention in the elementary school. The second part is called research investigation. It describes the basic structure of the work. The research part contains the way of teaching of HIV and AIDS in three selected elementary schools and one selected secondary school in eighth classes. Information was obtained using a questionnaire, where I find the knowledge and attitudes of pupil sin individual schools and an interview with a teacher who has taught this subject. The results of the schools compare with each other. Based on the results of the evaluation recommendations processing (content, form) for individual schools.
