Production line control unit

This work is about development of a control unit for use in a production line. The control unit is implemented in an embedded device Raspberry Pi. It communicates with central administrating system, which assigns programs to particular control units. These programs describe interaction with peripherals of the control unit and with database system of traceability.

The registers of correspondence of Nymburk 1629-1634 as a source for the emigration after the battle on the White Mountain

The study contents the comparation of older researches on the emigration from Czech lands after 1620 and the results of analysis of municipal correspondence of royal town Nymburk from 1629-1634. Most of the authors wrote about 150 citizens of Nymburk, the number based on two lists from 1626 and 1627 and published by T. V. Bílek in 1883. The study proves, that to 1629 at least 22 of them returned to Nymburk and even had high position in the municipal administration and at least 8 persons did not leave the Czech lands.

Guild of drapers and weavers in the town of Soběslav

The aim of my Bachelor work is the guild of drapers and weavers in the town of Soběslav. I take a probing look into the lives of these two guilds on the basis of appropriate and historical guild sources and their approach to organization and administration (especially concerning guild status, guild books and terminology material). Attention is also paid to common situations and dilemmas. That means the acquiring of knowledge within the guilds dilemmas, questions connected with its origins, their development and finally the abolishment of the guild system in our country. I especially delve into the range of the guild's character and the weaving craft.

The Process of the US-Soviet Disarmament at the End of 70s

The thesis is focused on the process of US-Soviet disarmament during 70s and especially on the end of the decade. The work is based on the American point of view of the disarmament and it examines the period from the administration of Richard Nixon, when was signed the most important treaty of the beginning of the 70s - SALT I (1972), through administration of Gerald Ford, when Vladivostok accord (1974) came into force, and the final part of the thesis concentrates on the period of Jimmy Carter during which SALT II was signed but it didn't pass the U.S. Senate. In particular chapters are analyzed main issues which were important for the disarmament and also changing of American approach towards relationship with the Soviet Union.

Political system of Slovak Republic (1939-1945) - typology of undemocratic regime in comparative analysis

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of political system of Slovak republic in 1939-1945. Main historical background and events leading to creation of independent state are described at first place. The position of Slovakia in the first Czechoslovak republic but especially in the so-called second republic with special attention for formation of autonomous Slovak land as a precondition for independent Slovak republic is mentioned. The core of this work is based on detailed analyses of specified political system. In several chapters we deal with Slovak constitution, state power sharing and description of legislature, executive and jurisdiction. In other chapters we analyze public administration and political police (Ústredňa štátnej bezpečnosti). Special attention is also dedicated to inner-regime cleavages and few of pressure groups, which appeared inside. Detailed description of party system and main political party - Hlinka's Slovak People Party is following. At the end, classification of regime according to modern theories of fascism and conceptualization based on term "fascization" of Aristotle A. Kallis is offered.

Klíč - Prague 11 township herald from 1993 to 2008

Bachelor thesis "Klíč - Prague 11 township herald from 1993 to 2008" is focused on a local printed herald issued by the township of Prague 11. The list has been published since 1993 and it contains a variety of information provided by the local town hall who is also an issuer of the list. Using a quantitative analysis a representative sample from years 1993 to 2008 was researched. Main goal of the research was to find out how the list evolves and on which scale the list informs about selected topics. The bachelor thesis describes local heralds overall, one chapter is specifically dedicated to the history of local printed heralds in Prague. Thesis also mentions and compares local heralds of other Prague townships neighboring Prague 11.

Social use of internet communication in the local environment of a small town

Diploma thesis "Social Use of Internet Communication in the Local Environment of a Small Town" deals with the social aspects of the internet use within the local everyday life of the inhabitants of a small Czech town. In the theoretical part, it especially focuses on the characteristics of the internet as a communication media and new technology, it tries to find the relationship between the virtual and real world, it deals with domestication of the internet and everyday life in cyberspace, and also with the field of ethnography and its history. Furthermore, the diploma thesis aims, in separated chapters, at the concept of audiences in historical context, their typology, activities and social use of media. The problems of globalization and internet literacy were also included. The practical section was dedicated to a research based on observation and semi-structured interviews which set a goal of revealing the specifics of the internet use in the local environment of a small town.

Geocaching

Geocaching is recently becoming increasingly popular leisure activity in not only in the Czech Republic but also all over the world. Firstly, the work focused on explaining the nature of Geocaching, which deals with finding hidden mailboxes in a given geographical coordinates. Geocaching is not the only activity that is conducted by using GPS navigation but also refers to other options such as Wherigo, GPS Mission etc. The potential use of Geocaching in the commercial sector has not yet been fully exploited, and thus the work also deals with the commercial use of Geocaching which focuses on products and services related to Geocaching. It offers a second option, and commercialization of its substance. The essence is meant mostly concealed caches using GPS, but that does not work under the administration of Groundspeak, the Geocaching shelters. In commercialize the works of nature, especially offers the possibility of using small, but large companies (but also for the faculty) in the form of various competitions and other projects. The thesis is accompanied also by a survey whose results are mentioned through the whole work, i.e. chapters, which were related to the topic of questions in the survey. Results of survey were presented in separate chapters analyzed. Finally created a project called "Discover Jindrichuv Hradec", which is designed to raise awareness of Jindrichuv Hradec or to improve tourism. This project is created precisely to the already mentioned principle of Geocaching, and it has also created a special Web site.

Anglická anotace "Charity mission in the spectrum of social services in Havlíčkův Brod" Author of tis bachelor thesis shows that the mission of Charity services in the administration of Regional Charity Havlíčkův Brod has an irreplaceable position in the spectrum of social services in the town of Havlíčkův Brod. This is illustrated by using the detailed listing of social services provided by individual providers of social services in the Register of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which corresponds with actual situation and conclusions found in questionnaire survey among emploees and clients of the Regional Charity Havlíčkův Brod and regional management representatives of other providers of social services. Brief summary of recorded knowledge can be noted that, in contrast to other providers of social services, the Regional Charity offers exclusive range of social services and pay attention to fulfilling the spiritual needs resulting from the mission Charity services as such. The author presents also some shortcomings and proposes options for dealing with them. Specifically, it is particularly on the issue of selection and training Charity emploees, an area of cooperation between the Regional Charity and the local parish community, a full solution to the method of fulfilling the spiritual needs of...

Socioeconomic analysis of Prague’s district Vinor

I chose socioeconomic analysis of Prague's district Vinor for elaboration of my work. In the opening I want to introduce the district itself including its surroundings. In the individual chapters of the bachelor work I am going to discuss the history, transportation, culture, living, and education. I would like to concentrate on the structure and development of the population later. As part of my bachelor work I am going to perform questionnaire research, where I am going to examine the indicators of the population from different points of view. In following parts of the work I will elaborate SWOT analysis, which defines strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the district. Based on gained information I am going to elaborate suggestion, which would direct development of the town district in medium and long-term perspective. This analysis will mainly be a result of previously gained information from the questionnaire research. The goal of this work is to provide complex view of the town district and suggest opportunities of its future development including utilization of the financial grants from public sources or European funds. Another goal of this work is to provide comparison of the town district and Prague as a whole from many different points of view. Discussing especially population indicators, natural resources and individual types of economic activities.
