Poetics of Holan's collections The Triumph of Death, The Breezing and The Arch

This thesis analyzes the first two poetry collections by Vladimir Holan - Triumf smrti (1930, revision 1936, 1948) and Vanutí (1932). At first, it focuses on identifying their rhythmic structure, its constants and the successive transformations. Particular attention is given to reprocessing of collection Triumf smrti - in the analysis of its three variants to see, how did the Holan's conception of poetic rhythm developed and its relationship to semantics of poetic text and its transformations. Part of exploration is to determine the function of poetic rhythm constants in individual collections, accompanied by an attempt to demonstrate that the relationship of rhythm, euphony and instrumentation of verse and their interaction belongs to the basic components of Holan's lyricism in this period. Furthermore, the work deals with the semantics of these Holan's collections, especially analysis of the basic features of his metaphor and metonymy, their mutual relationship, changes of the metaphors into metonymy and overgrowth in the context of poetic text into symbols. The purpose of the work is to show that the essence of poetic semantics in these collections lies in the specificity and uniqueness of their poetics, from which it is inevitably born, grows and shapes.

Direct democracy in the Czech republic

The main topic of the presented dissertation is the direct democracy and its legal institutions incorporated in the legal order of the Czech Republic. The first part of the dissertation is dedicated to the democracy as a government form and to the historical breakthroughs in its development. The key historical milestones on the way from despotism, through the Athen democracy, followed by long period of democratic deficit, up to the renaissance of democracy during bloody revolutions are mentioned as well. Further attention is paid to the representative and direct democracy, their mutual compatibility and definition of basic elements within both conceptions. The second part is referred to the direct democracy legal institutions in the legal order of the Czech Republic. Historical commentary is followed by general interpretation de lege lata. The direct democracy legal institutions are pursued from the year 1918 to the present. Merely commentary on the petition law goes deeper into history. Within recent legislation it is being proceeded from larger to smaller (a maiori ad minus). Our attention is in the first instance focused on the direct democracy legal institutions in the constitutional order of the Czech republic. Modern Varieties of Judaeo-Arabic Author: Anna Morávková Abstract The thesis deals with modern variants of Judeo-Arabic. The theoretical part puts the Judeo-Arabic into a broader historical, social and linguistic context and emphasizes its significance with respect to the Arabic dialectology. The practical part compares the phonological and morphological features of the individual variants of Judeo-Arabic that occur in two dialectal areas (Mesopotamian and North Africa). It is aimed at pointing out the differences between these variants and also their divergence from the major Muslim dialects and, concerning Mesopotamia, also other communal dialects.

This thessis determines return of investments for energetic improvements. Theoretical chapter introduces term definitions for investments, assessing and energetic improvements domains. Practical part compares several possibilities of energetic improvements applied on real estate. Comparsion that is based on amount of initial investment, effectivity and return time determines optimal solution for particular estate.

The subject of my thesis was traffic-engineering solution to the crossroads of the streets Osvobození - Podřevnická in several options. For these options were designed needed construction adjustment next was selected one option and after taht was carried out capacity assessment of the crossroads in accordance with relevant technical regulations. To verify the capacity assessment was carried out simulations using the proposed variants Aimsun.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose the most optimal variant of financing the investment project of the winery. The core of the work is to comparative analysis of a subsidy programme, a bank loan and a leasing. The diploma thesis is consists of two main parts. In the theoretical part, I am going to explain the sources of project financing and ways which determine the effectiveness of the project. The practical part evaluates the management of the winery and describes budget of project. In conclusion, I suggest the specific possibility of project financing.

Temporary agency work

The topic of this diploma thesis is Temporary agency work in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis is logically divided into two main parts. The first part is predominantly theoretical. Within this topic the basic definitions and its mutual relationship are analyzed in detail. The thesis is mainly focused on analysis of current legislation and its history from 2004 till present. The second part of the diploma thesis is based on the survey published through questionnaire. The questionnaire has logical structure and therefore it is possible to deduce the position and experience of the respondents with the held topic. In conclusion, there are proposals to improve the current regulation of temporary agency work which could contribute to an increase of positive attitudes towards agency employment in the Czech Republic.

Comparison of unit linked insurance in the Czech republic

Unit linked insurance in the czech insurance market was analyzed in this bachelor thesis. In this analysis were examined the benefits and shortages which are connected with this product and with the general principles of operation and legislation. Following the current trends of investment instruments, was performed detailed research of how the products are offered by financial advisors. There is also comparison of the various options of this product, which insurance companies offers in the Czech republic. Empirical results show that ULI is a promising product which provides not only the provision of insurance protection, but also can evaluate your investment.

Study and comparison of main kinds of evolutionary algorithms

Evolutionary algorithms belongs among the youngest and the most progressive methods of solving difficult optimization tasks. They received huge popularity mainly due to good experimental results in optimization, a simplicity of the implementation and a high modularity, which is an ability to be modified for different problems. Among the most frequently used Evolutionary algorithms belongs Genetic Algorithm, Differential Evolution and Evolutionary Strategy. It is able to apply these algorithms and theirs variants to both continuous, discrete and mixed optimization tasks. A subject of this theses is to compare three main types of algorithms on the catalyst optimization task with mixed variables, linear constraints and experimentally evaluated fitness function.

Dynamic Kohonen maps and their strusture

My diploma thesis deals with one of the most widely used model of artificial neural network named self-organizing Kohonen neural network. We can find there a detailed description of several thoroughly analyzed mutually compared models of Kohonen map. We will verify their functionality, robustness and generalisation rates on artificial input data. Their real applicability and properties are tested on real data of traffic accident frequency. We will focus on the detection of significant input data attributes. The possibilities of solving the interesting questions and aspects of road transport are examined by means of Kohonen maps. At the end of the work there is presented a summarized review of the results and there are mentioned possible options of modifications that could improve the properties of these models.
