Douděrová, Šárka ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Matoušková, Milada (referee)
This thesis deals with the evaluation impact of the modifications of floodplain and river network to the course and consequences of floods on the example of Stropnice river, located in South Bohemia. The thesis evaluate causes, course and effects of the floods, that took place in the basin with special focus to the recent floods. The basin was hit by extreme flood in 2002, while in 2005, 2006, 2009 other floods with different origin and magnitude took place in the basin. The assessment was based on field survey, and application of GIS analysis of results for identification of critical stream segments, which may influence the course of flood events. To get information about river network modification the HEMF field survey methodology was used. The following rivers were mapped: Stropnice river, Svinenský, Klenský and Žárský brook. The critical stream segments are spread in the whole Stropnice basin. It can be concluded that the anthropogenic effects are apparent in the whole basin including its headwater part in mountains. In several critical stream segments there were proposed measures aimed to reduce the consequences of potential flood events.

Kuna, Petr ; Demková, Katarína (referee) ; Treml, Václav (advisor)
Oblík, with his height 509.25 meters above sea level, is the dominant feature of the southwestern part of the České středohoří Mts. which is often referred to as Lounské středohoří Mts.. Geological environment and characteristic climatic conditions prevailing during the last Quaternary glaciation here prompted the creation of natural forest-free areas that are in form of isolated fragments of land preserved to this day. Oblík is one of the most important steppe sites in our area. Ever since the arrival of Neolithic man, the whole region Lounské středohoří Mts. influenced by human intervention. On Oblík there are several rare and endangered species that are of interest to the special protection of this National Nature Reserve. At present, the slopes with steppe...

Estimation of Stage Discharge Curves in Hydrometric Profile
Hillebrant, Michael ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the stage-discharge curves evaluation on the selected hydrometric stations and on the selected rivers in the Morava River basin, which the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute managing. The goal of this barcelor thesiss is using own calculation and specialized software to construct theoretical stage discharge curve on the basis of real measured Qh points of stage-discharge curve. The resulting theoretical curves then compared as well as create a dataset and compare the regression coefficients and regression equations of theoretical stage-discharge curves. These comparisons performed for the selected profiles in the upper, middle and lower part of river and make an overall assessment of the success of the fit. Profiles at upper part of the Svratka river was Borovnice on the Svratka river Svratka. Rozhrani on the Svitava river. Middle profiles were Brno – Poříčí on the Svratka and the Poříčí on the Křetínka River, which inflows into the Svitava river. Lower profiles were Bílovice Svitavou on the river Svitava river and Želešice on the Bobrava river, which is tributary catchment to the river Svratka. Data is divided into all sections in three modes. Summer season (May to October), winter (November-April). In the third period remained unfiltered data.

There are two buildings (barn and the parish) of the same archetype - rectangular in plan, low-floor and high hipped roof. One object is at the beginning and the other at the end of the plot. As a volume counter these proportions suggest the mass of the two objects with the same volume and proportions. The proposal several times, the principle of inserting new material into existing environments so as to minimize interfering with the existing structures. Inside the parish because of this principle remain visible beautiful areas with arches and paintings. Most of this principle is used in the inserted accommodation of cells into the interior of the existing barns. In the barn is maintained only a roof portion and supporting walled columns, between which is inserted prefabricated cell. Another compositional principle is the completion of an economic object which shape and mass builds on the existing adjacent building at the property plot.

Title: Winter preparation for squash players Objectives: The main aim is to make a week-long traning plan for winter concentration for squash players. The next aim of this work is to find out if present instructors use supplemental sports as compensational exercise, and what is their opinion of an early specialization and a training matching ontogeny. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of data collection, concretely document analysis and a public inquiry. Inquiry questions are divided into three groups: close answers (answers YES/NO), select from concrete answers and open answers. In document analysis are used multi media, virtual dates and objective dates. Results: I found out that most of squash instructors organize sports concentrations. Most of respondents prefer summer preparation to winter preparation. Squash instructors use compensational exercise regularly, but do not use supplemental sports very often. Winter sports use just about third of respondents. Some instructors forbid some sports. Especially it concerns tennis and badminton (because of the different struck technique). I made training plan like a winter preparation for squash players, which includes down hill skiing and cross country skiing. It is focused on condition and progress coordination ability. Summer camps and their specificity for children with visual impairment
JANOUŠKOVÁ, Martina
This bachelor thesis discusses summer camps and their specifics for children with visual impairment. The aim of this thesis is to provide a comparison between special summer camps and summer camps that enable integration in a ralationship to children with visual impairment. To achieve this goal, I collected the advantages and disadvantages and the specifics that follows from them. This issues is discussed from the position of the organizers, the heads of the summer camps and also from the position of children with visual impairment that took part in researched summer camps, alternatively from the position of their parents. Besides this I also mentioned the view of intact children taking part in a summer camp that enables integration. To accomplish the aim of this thesis, I used a qualitative type of research. The data was discovered by the method of personal asking: the technique of an interview with open questions. To evaluate the interviews I used the induction method: Firstly, I went in the field to acquire the information. Than I compared the information with other ones that I obtained from other people. The results of this thesis serve as a summary of things that are specific for a given type of summer camp and also of things that are important to take into consideration during selecting a suitable summer either selected by parents and their children or by the organizers. This thesis describes many of concrete imperfections that can occur during the summer camps but it also describes many of the advantages that provide summer camps for children with visual impairment with their parents but it deals with this problem under the terms of a summer camp that provides the integration also with intact children or leaders. Concerning the summer camps for children with visual impairment, the research comes with a statement that firstly, it is necessary to focus on a selection of suitable area where will the summer camp take place and it is also necessary to focus on communication between the leader and the parents in order to mutually gain enough information requiered for intergration under the condition of cooperation between parents and camp leaders with each other. I tis also important to ensure a qualite assistant that will be able to good and meaningfully fill the time of a child with visual impairmentin in case of him/her not being able to participate in some of the summer camp's programme. The same situation arrives in the case of special summer camp: it needs specific preparation considering the selection of suitable area and schedule-making. Thanks to the fact that the organizers of this type of summer camps are usually some organizations engaging in this issue, this type of summer camps do not need a personal assistant necessarily. Parents feel safe because their child is provided with quality professional care and children have an opportunity to come in contact with children of the same age that have the same or similar problems. Another big advantage of special summer camps is an rehearsal or improvement of abilities that make the life of a person with visual impairment much easier. Chapter five, the discussion, compares particular areas of the research that involve: the preparation of a summer camp, the awareness of the members from the team, integration of the child into the group, the schedule of the summer camp and natural environment of the camp, assistance, communication and the fear of the participants of some new experience. The end of chapter six, the conclusion, discusses some considerations about improvement of present situation in the field of summer capms for children with visual impairment.
