Existentialism and its conception of man

The diploma thesis examines the specific work of Albert Camus and Gabriel Marcel, focusing on the question of human values. The aim is to show two forms of existential philosophy concerning human existence in their chosen dramas. The work is divided into chapters. In the first chapter we can find the basic characteristics of existentialism and its development. The second and third chapter deals with Camus' and Marcel's conception of philosophy. In these chapters will present the Camus' problem of suicide, revolt, absurd and sense of being. In the case of Marcel will be dealt with the issue of duality of being and have, relationship I-You, love, hope, death, freedom and faith. Diploma thesis results in subsequent chapters where you can find comparison existential themes in the works of authors.
Logotherapy Value in Teaching Pupils of Secundary School

The work deals with the psychological direction of logotherapy. The theoretical part introduces its origins, development and content, in the form logotherapeutic values. These values are elaborated in detail, so that they can be understood by pupils at the senior primary school. Furthermore, it summarizes the stage of development corresponding to the age group of pupils at the senior primary school with respect to both, physical and mental and also neological aspects. The practical part contains an implementation of logotherapeutic values in the education of pupils at the senior primary school in the General Educational Program of basic education. This includes the love, faith, hope, death, suffering and guilt, as understood by logotherapy, in the Ethics Education subject or in the cross-sectional topic of Personality and Social Education.
Euthanasia - Yes or No?

This thesis deals with the question of euthanasia, especially its concept in the book Good death? of Hans Küng. First chapter contains definition of euthanasia. I describe term euthanasia and its forms. Second chapter presents history of euthanasia from ancient times to modern times and also the way how euthanasia is understood today. Third chapter deals with palliative and hospice care. Further are mentioned some arguments for and against legalization of euthanasia. In the last chapter is analysed the book of Hans Küng who consider euthanasia as dignified end of human life.
Marian spirituality of Benedict XVI.

Working in its first part introduces the basic points of Marian spirituality. It shows her sources in the Old and New Testaments. The following are presented and analyzed its theological basis and are also compared various doctrinal truth doctrine of the Virgin Mary looking chosen saints of important theological figures with attitudes Joseph Ratzinger - Pope Benedict XVI. In the second half of the work is shown in the way he lived and understood Marian spirituality during his pontificate. The final section is intended to Benedict's thoughts, which are developed by individual elements of Marian devotion.
Hope in Pauline and Petrine Epistles

Hope in the letters of St. Paul and St. Peter. The New Testament contains the letters of the apostle Paul and Peter range of texts on the theme of hope. Bachelor thesis tries to analyze the individual texts with different views, so that the reader of God's word could penetrate more deeply into the theological virtues. It will be exploring the theme of hope in terms of origin, the subject of hope in the community of the Church of Hope as part of the trajectory of faith and love. Then look through the eyes, other authors on the subject. Finally, a description of the author's own experiences in his personal life story.
I and Thou Relationship. Death and Immortality in the Work of Gabriel Marcel

1 Abstract anglicky The topic of my thesis is the important French thinker and playwright Gabriel Marcel. It is divided into four parts. The first part focuses on the main premises of Marcel's "concrete" philosophy and his position towards Christianity and tolerance to non-believers. The second part describes in details his "concrete" philosophy. It is based on the relation to the essence of our being (2) and shows the way, which leads to being through our existence (2.1) by rejecting the mode of possessing "to have" (2.1.1). This part concludes with Marcel's unique concept of body and embodiment (2.2),that finds its true value in encounter with other human being (2.3) The third part deals with Marcel's main relationship concept I-Thou, about its creation, modes and conditions (3.1). Further it shows the difference between real I-Thou relationship and objective I-It relationship (3.2). And different ways of pertaining and disponability(3.2.1). The fourth part is the main point of my thesis. It focuses on Marcel's concept of death and immortality (4.), on his similarity with poet Rilke (4.1). It also shows present "broken world" as a reflection of hopelessness and fear of death (4.2). It also shows how to overcome death in its definitive form by love to other human being, that is the expression "presence"...
New Testament Eschatology and Sources of Christian Hope

The thesis focuses on the eschatology of the New Testament writings, especially on those it's elements, in which the early church found it's hope. A question of transformation of Christian expectations due to the delayed parousia is questioned here; as well as related question of invariant gospel's elements on one hand and a set of it's historical origins on the other. A development of an early church hope is mapped through the compilation of author's thoughts linked to the Scripture and critically evaluated assertions taken up from other sources. Due to a significant depth of the theme, answers to some of it's sub­questions relies on the prevailing consensus, however, in those cases the author adds his own comment. The theme is described in a way of biblical texts or groups of biblical texts analysis. After an Old Testament introduction, there is an explanation of significant Jesus days' sociocultural phenomena, apocalypticism and several non biblical sources, after that the theme goes on with analyzing the Pauline texts. Concept NADĚJE ('hope') in Václav Havel's Work

This bachelor thesis examines the concept of hope in selected texts of Václav Havel using theoretical methodological principles of cognitive linguistics and ethnolinguistic. After an introduction to basic themes of cognitive linguistics this thesis explores the linguistic image of hope in Czech language by using dictionary data analysis. Subsequently, the focus shifts to conceptualization of hope in Havel's texts, semantic frameworks where hope features prominently, and to the relationship of hope to related concepts. In the conclusion the concept of hope is put into broader context of Havel's work. Arguments why the term hope can be counted amongst Havel's keywords are duly provided. This thesis is inspired in particular by the work of David S. Danaher and his comparative ethnolinguistic analyses of selected Havel's terms.

As processing was used the method of qualitative research via of oral history on the basis of interview with family and former colleagues of Vlastimila Hradecka. The thesis includes photography.
