Comparation of three web pages of three chosen EU cities

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza současných trendů při tvorbě městských webových stránek a webových stránek obecně, prozkoumání jejich aplikace na skutečných webových stránkách vybraných měst a jejich vzájemné srovnání. K tomuto účelu jsou zde nejprve v teoretické části popsány charakteristiky webových stránek a jejich stručný historický vývoj s dalším zaměřením na webové stránky veřejné správy a měst. Při tvorbě hodnotících kritérií je kladen důraz na přístupnost a samotný obsah a funkcionalitu městských webů. Tyto oblasti byly nejprve řádně definovány a následně převedeny do konkrétní podoby vhodné pro porovnávání vybraných webových stránek měst Bonnu, Janova a Barcelony.

Dohody o volném obchodu ES s třetími zeměmi

Práce se věnuje dohodám o volném obchodu, jež Evropské společenství uzavřelo se třetími zeměmi, s výjimkou EHP, nebo o kterých dosud jedná. Dohody o volném obchodu jsou jedním z nástrojů společné obchodní politiky ES. Do jejich obsahu se promítá strategie ES ve vnějších ekonomických vztazích, ovšem nemalý význam na jejich podobu má i mnohostranný obchodní systém WTO a také zájmy obchodních partnerů. V jednotlivých kapitolách je analyzován obsah dohod o volném obchodu a také jejich dopad na vzájemné obchodní vztahy.

Employer Branding: Marketing Approach to HR

The main aim of the thesis is to explain the essence and benefits of using a marketing approach, tools and means for the area of human resources and analyze the content and interdependence of two parts of HR marketing, external and internal. Thesis has also the ambition to apply the theory of brand building on the specific case of employer brand. Part of the thesis forms research on FMCG company Nutricia, which should show what the company does for its HR marketing and how it is perceived as an employer both on the internal and external labor market. The principal methods of work includes analysis of Czech and foreign literature and papers on the theme. Materials provided by Nutricia and written questionaires were analyzed in the practical part of the research. The conclusion sums up the benefits of marketing aproach to HR, its coherence within the general framework of marketing mix and current actual state.

A Tool for Editing and Comparing LMF Dictionaries

The diploma thesis presents dictionary formats and focuses on principles and semantics of data storage using Lexical Markup Framework. Contains information on relationship between the framework and Data Category Registry, which is part of the ISO standard for further dictionary data specification. After that, the Oracle Berkeley database system for XML document storage is mentioned followed by approaches for addressing documents and its portions. Methods for dictionary comparison are being described as well as grouping and changing dictionary content. Help on the process of dictionary modification must be provided to the user in the way of showing expected features, relevant to the selected element.

Amount of the dissolved substances in parenteral solutions is expressed in molarity (mol ∙ l-1 ). To express the osmotic effect of the dissolved particles in one litre of solution, osmolarity (mosmol ∙ l-1 ) is used. Physical measurement is provided by an osmometer. However, by this measurement we can determinate osmolality (mosmol ∙ kg-1 ) which depends on the concentration in molality (mol ∙ kg-1 ). Mutual conversion between osmolality and osmolarity is then desirable. The conversion of molality to molarity requires a knowledge of the volume of the solution whereas the conversion factor is wanted to convert molarity to molality. Conversion factor, in fact, expresses content of water in the solution. The mutual conversion between molality and molarity requires knowledge of the solution density. In this work, the effect of temperature in range of 15-40žC on density of the aqueous solutions was studied. Aqueous solutions of sodium chloride, potassium chloride and ammonium chloride in concentration range of 0,1 - 1,0 mol ∙ l-1 or 0,1 - 1,0 mol ∙ kg-1 were investigated. The content of this thesis is to document the current status of the content and forms of training people for self-protection and mutual assistance in case of emergency events. This content and forms are part of the legislative norms of the state, including the quantification and qualification of entities that provide these activities. To obtain information, questionnaire survey was conducted with employees of one branch of civil service and self-government authorities. Similar research with one hundred citizens aged over 18 years was carried out for specific assessment of education and public awareness. After the analysis of these sections, it can be concluded that although the current legislation, the long-term concept of the government of the Czech Republic and the wide range of possible influences on the population in preventive education activities in the field of fire protection and protection of the population form a prerequisite for penetration of the necessary information to the public, the desired efficiency and effectiveness required are not achieved in their implementation. For example, the older generation lacks basic knowledge, which has been politicized before 1989. Overall, this work can lead to the conclusions that there is a need for education at schools of all levels and subsequent lifelong learning for all the citizens of this country. It is also necessary to continuously update and maintain the required level of competency of staff of the entities that carry out preventive educational activities in the field of fire and civil protection.

Web 2.0 and Blogs and their Impact on (Internet) Communication Evolution

Tématem diplomové práce je fenomén internetových služeb označovaných jako Web 2.0, blogy a jejich vliv na internetovou komunikaci. Cílem práce je vymezit pojem Web 2.0, definovat pojem blog, zmapovat významné aplikace a služby a popsat jejich jednotlivé charakteristické vlastnosti a technologie ve vztahu k Web 2.0, zjistit, jak jsou největšími blogy dodržovány standardy W3C, popsat a prakticky ukázat vznik blogu při použití skriptovacích jazyků. První část práce je věnována definicím a charakteristice Webu 2.0. V centru pozornosti jsou především jednotlivé aspekty, které se ve Web 2.0 aplikacích vyskytují (sociální sítě, uživatelský obsah, tagování, Long tail atd.). Další část nastiňuje technologie používané Web 2.0 aplikacemi, především sleduje rozvoj technologií a standardů pro zobrazování a výměnu webových obsahů (AJAX, API mash-upy, XML feedy a mikroformáty) a jejich dopad na vyhledávání a identifikaci, a také systému pro vytváření digitální identity. Ve třetí části práce se definují blogy a zkoumá se jejich využití konečnými uživateli a společnostmi. Possibilities of maintaining previous life style after spinal cord injury with permanent live-in personal assistance

V práci se zaměřuji na zmapování situace v oblasti terénních služeb pro osoby upoutané na invalidní vozík následkem poranění míchy a případnou aplikaci prvků livein osobní asistence v České republice. Část odborné praxe jsem absolvovala jako osobní asistentka pro vozíčkáře ve Velké Británii. Pracovala jsem pro agenturu, jejímž hlavním cílem bylo poskytovat co nejkvalitnější asistenční služby orientované na přání a spokojenost klienta. Agentura se zaměřuje na specifický okruh klientů, kteří žijí doma aktivním způsobem života, nepotřebují denně odbornou lékařskou péči, ale při uskutečňování svých potřeb a zájmů potřebují asistenci. Vzhledem k úzké specifikaci cílové skupiny žijí klienti agentury po celé zemi. Proto agentura zajišťuje tzv. "live-in" osobní asistenci. Služba je konstruována tak, že asistent nebo asistentka po určitou dobu žije v klientově domácnosti a asistuje mu. Tento typ služby má mnoho výhod jak pro klienta, tak pro asistenta. Obsah a délka trvání sistence se určuje vzájemnou dohodou, takže klient může vykonávat i činnosti, které by při službě na směny dělat nemohl. Klient může přesně vyjádřit svoje potřeby a řídit svoji péči. Asistent se velmi rychle naučí, co klient potřebuje, takže klient nemusí vše neustále opakovat. The theme of the thesis is international sports law. Sports activity indeed starts at the level of particular states, but in connection with professional sportsmen's easy cross-border movement and with regard to unifying sports rules it is necessary to emphasize its international nature. Even it may be questionable to talk about international sports law it is not important to this paper, because the main purpose of the thesis is to deal with basic relations which are setting in sport with international element and to legally subsume them. As international sports law is newly aborning subject it is quite difficult to give it rational sort. This thesis is split into six chapters which are subdivided into subchapters, except for the first and the last one. First chapter is generally about sport. The second concerns with the grounds of international sports law. Chapter three comprises sources of law that are associated with sport. Chapter four is focused on the professional athletes, their status and their activity. Fifth chapter deals with the organization of sporting activities. Analysis and Comparison of Sport Management Study at Charles University and Selected American Universities

Název: Analýza a srovnání studia sportovního managementu na Univerzitě Karlově a vybraných amerických univerzitách. Analysis and comprarison of Sport Management study on the Charles University and selected american universities. Cíl práce: Analyzovat obsah a zaměření studia sportovního managementu na FTVS UK v Praze a vybraných amerických univerzitách a provést jejich srovnání. Metoda: Obsahová a diferenciační analýza publikovaných studijních materiálů s následným převážně kvalitativním vyhodnocením. Výsledky: Vzájemné srovnání ukázalo jak schody, tak i odlišnosti. Vcelku shodné je celkové zaměření oboru i výčet a obsah profesních a ekonomicky zaměřených vyučovacích předmětů. Dílčí rozdíly jsou v organizaci studia, ve výuce předmětů obecného základu a v předmětech s orientací na teorii tělesné výchovy a sportu.
