Evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of football players after ACL reconstruction by MFT S3 tool
Otto, Šimon ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Malý, Tomáš (referee)
Theme: Evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of football players after ACL reconstruction by MFT S3 tool. Student: Bc. Simon Otto Supervisor: PhDr. Ales Kaplan, PhD. Aims: The aim of the diploma thesis is evaluation of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry of chosen group of football players (n=4) after ACL injury by MFT S3 check test. Methodology: The level of stability, sensorimotor and symmetry was measured by MFT S3 tool and then evaluated with activities during the recondition season. Results: The study proved that some activities are more or less suitable for development of stability and sensorimotor. The biggest positive effect had special workouts aimed for tight muscles and the knee joint. The lowest values were measured after the run and football trainings when the stability and the sensorimotor were impaired. The values were higher in sagittal plane due the preferable sagittal movement used during the football matches. It is important to realize that the recondition process is needs to be lead individually for every athlete after ACL surgery because there is not any universal methodological procedure. Key words: Stability, sensorimotor, symmetry, injury, knee, ACL, football, recondition.
Differential geometry and dynamics
Nárožný, Jiří ; Krýsl, Svatopluk (advisor) ; Scholtz, Martin (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to show some mathematical concepts and methods of differential geometry and Lie groups. Subsequently, we try to use this tools in physics. Selection of these two mathematical topics is not random, because these topics are close related essentials of theoretical physics. The thesis is split into two chapters. Each chapter fulfils one of this aim. In the first chapter we introduce the notion of group, which is further enriched with other notions, like group action or group product. This detailed and smooth process leads us to introduction of homogeneous space which is one of the most important notion of Klein geometry. The end of this chapter is devoted to brief introduction to this attitude to geometry. The second chapter consists formulation of physical tasks in the language of differential geometry and afterwards its solution. As the final topic in this thesis we introduce Jacobi connection, as more natural option of connection which is implemented to physical system. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Factors affecting prey detectability for visual predators
Machalková, Kateřina ; Exnerová, Alice (advisor) ; Javůrková, Veronika (referee)
The cryptic coloration is one of the main ways to protect prey before the visually directing predators. Most animals use two basic strategies of crypsis, background-matching and disruptive coloration. The aim of this thesis was to summarize and evaluate knowledge about different strategies of cryptic coloration. The study was mainly focused on the confrontation between insect prey and predator bird. Experimental studies are comparing the effectiveness of cryptic coloration of prey by a combination of background-matching and disruptive coloration with prey characteristics (inner pattern contrast, background contrast, shape and pattern distribution, symmetry) or background parameters (background complexity, multiple backgrounds, the distance between the prey and the predator) that affect detectability. The results of the study conclude that disruptive coloration pattern in cryptic prey has better effects than the strategy of background-matching. Prey characteristics can affect detectability, but the results of individual studies are not conclusive. Even the background parameters results were unambiguous, the highest efficiency for prey detection time was a combination of disruptive coloration and the background complexity. The issue of camouflage is so complex that the majority of studies do not have...
Bilingualism - Symmetry and asymmetry in the linguistic development of bilingual children. Decisive factors among siblings in a bilingual family.
Liborová, Blanka ; Blahak, Boris (advisor) ; Hejhalová, Věra (referee)
The present Bachelor thesis deals with the general approaches and diverse forms of bilingual education of siblings in a bilingual family. The different research approaches will be defined in the work and their specific differences will be described. In the theoretical part of the Bachelor thesis is the comparison of scientific studies about the so-called mixed bilingualism from the perspective of different linguists. On section is dedicated to refute myths about early bilingualism that bear scientific grounds. The practical part of the Bachelor thesis is based on the collection of information in multilingual families with at least one parent whose native language is not the language of the social environ of the children. Part of the analysis is to create an accurate profile of the families in order to better describe and distinguish the specific results of the different families. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to state important factors that can lead to an advanced symmetrical or asymmetrical use of the languages for bilingual children, as well as to inspire bilingual families with the case studies on what approach can be used to raise bilingual children.
Object detection

Roots of Moravian Urban Structure
Mohelník, Ladislav ; Löw, Jiří (referee) ; Prokeš, Oldřich (referee) ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Koutný, Jan (advisor)
The thesis has been written on the basis of main architectural concepts and their application in real life within a historical context investigation. Main architectural concepts are represented in a harmony of architectural composition that deals with relations among form, structure and space in the unique art work. Genius loci play very important role in the architectural creation - it represents a special and extra-ordinary urban locality and its architectural value in the historical, geographical and cultural context. The origin of Ostravice village within the historical frame concept of Moravia domain is the topic of this thesis. Other historical documents gave information about Bruneswerde as the Brno Castle. That means Brno Castle had to be founded not in Brno (as it has been consid-ered for many years) but it was located in Beskydy at Ostravice. The sacred city – Civitas Dei had been located in Bruneswerde region in early ages as the centre of European culture, education and spiritual life. Civitas Dei – divine Jerusalem in the transcription of St. Augustine's book De civitate Dei – is not only glorification of God and religious fantasy. It is also one of significant clues for recognition of historical architecture. The depiction of unknown settlement from the book of unde-fined origin is a superb testimony about extinct architectural works. They are legible from cadastral maps. Brno Castle - residence of nobility and power served shelter to St. Vojtěch, St. Prokop, St. Václav and St. Ludmila as it is obvious for the mentioned picture. Three major temples, three com-position axes symbolized by three towers on coins are in analogical relation to Brno triangle of four saints - the Saint family of Brno temples. Powerful ambitions of Brno City principals and clergy are inscribed into the urban structure in the way of composition relations which are legible to them who devoted themselves to the mystery of harmony. The absence of historical continuity affects personal attitudes and also identity of the whole community. The architecture truly reflects the past state of polis and it is eloquent even after its death. The architectural composition relations influence the natural environment for long time, longer than the architectural work existence. The geometric order of Renaissance Brno existence has not been in attention of architects so far. The features were discovered in characteristic paintings by Albrecht Durer. They are evidently secret works of the genius. A meaningful collaborator and follower in the extensive project was also his friend Jan Čert from Brno and lately from Vienna. His noble genealogy played a significant role in history of Silesia and Moravia for centuries. It is tendency to consider him as Austrian or even German architect. It is because of the fact that the genealogy tree of his noble family had roots in Moravia. It is supposed that Durer with Jan Čert´s support created the extraordinarily monumental architectural and urban works in Brno. A remarkable consensus in the urban composition of two squares and transition of traditional urban structure of Ostravice Civitas Dei into the modern Brno is also confirmed due to the identification of noble creators and owners, who were at the foundation, transformation and extinction of elements of the Moravian urban structure.
Design and realization of V/I and I/V symmetrical converters
Chrást, Jakub ; Koton, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals about design of symmetrical converters voltage on current and current on voltage. These converters will be used for measuring frequency characteristics of differential frequency filters. Current feedback amplifier was used as active element. Some circuits useful for this function were chosen. Various integrated circuits were put into these circuits. All variations were simulated in computer program Orcad. In terms of computer simulations the best variation was chosen. Selected variants were practically verified and control measuring were realized.

The book Boční pohled na zatmění Slunce (Side View on Solar Eclipse) is an artistic attempt to articulate own creative methodology. Simple verbal declamations, quotations from books and conceptual sketches may be understood as a headword complement to my work of past few years. If the reader is, by any reason, unacquainted to that work, the book should work as an autonomous poetical unit.
Eurozone from the view of OCA theory: conclusion for the Czech Republic
Kovač, Vojtěch ; Czesaný, Slavoj (advisor) ; Rybáček, Václav (referee)
This diploma thesis is concerned with the Robert Mundell's theory of optimum currency area (OCA) and its relation to European monetary union (EMU) or (if you like) Eurozone. The OCA theory belongs to one of the most comprehensive approach to evaluate whether adoption of a common currency by a certain block of countries is beneficial of not. Thus this paper tries to apply OCA theory to the current Eurozone member countries and is focused especially on three main attributes -- the symmetry of economic shocks, the labor market flexibility and the economic integration of international trade between the member states of the euro area. Results of this analysis are then applied to the new member states and the immediate candidate EU member states -- especially to the Czech Republic. The work assesses the feasibility of the OCA theory for classification the candidate countries and their readiness for entering the Eurozone and finally offers alternative criteria by which the readiness for adoption of the Euro should be measured. The text is based on available theoretical and empirical sources supplemented by the author's analyses.
