Analysis of the small business’ personal work

The Master's Thesis deals with human resources management in small businesses. The theoretical part introduces small business' specifics in human resources and describes personal processes in small businesses. The aim of the theoretical part is to provide theoretical framework for the practical part of the thesis. In the practical part the small company is described including the description of personal processes in the company. The goal of the thesis is to analyse personal processes in the company, evaluate them and to create recommendations for management of the company. These recommendations are presented in the second part of the practical section of the thesis and if applied should lead to an improvement of the company's human resources management.
The Level of Human Resources and their Role in Regional Development of the Zlín Region

There are two main aspects this thesis is based on. These are human resources as a major factor of regional development and human capital as the most valuable asset of the organization. The aim of the thesis is to map the situation in the labor market in the Zlín region as seen from the perspective of employers and from the perspective of further regional development in prospective sectors of the economy. The thesis deals not only with the level and quality of human resources in the Zlin region, but also with employers' satisfaction with the current level of the workforce. The first part is based on the theoretical background and focuses on human resources as a factor of regional development in the Czech Republic. The following chapters deal with regional policy and regional development in the country. The next part is aimed at human resources in terms of organization and especially personnel management. It describes selected areas of human resource management that are important for the theoretical basis of the thesis. The practical part is divided to three parts. The first part introduces the analysis of the situation in the Zlín Region. It contains basic indicators of the level of human resources and compares them with other Czech regions. Then there are the results of a survey and structured interviews, which were conducted among employers in the Zlín region. The aim of the survey was to identify employers' satisfaction with human resources in the region and assess the quality of human resources in terms of the appropriateness of the focus of education and its level compared to the needs of employers in the region. The final part of the thesis summarizes the results obtained in the analysis and compares them with the results from employers in the region. It is concluded by the evaluation of hypotheses.
Analysis and Evaluation of selected Areas of Human Resources Management in a selected Organization

My diploma thesis titled "Analysis and Evaluation of selected Areas of Human Resources Management in a selected Organization" deals with the issue of managing labour performance of employees from both, theoretical and practical perspectives.The theoretical part focuses on the issue of managing human resources in the organisation. The attention is especially paid to managing labour performance, evaluation, rewarding, educating and development of employees.Practical application of theoretical findings was utilized in the Tooltechnic Systems CZ s.r.o. and TTS Slovakia s.r.o. companies. To collect data, a method of internal document analyses, semi-structured interview and questionnaires were used.The emphasis was given to comparing opinions of managers gathered from semi-structured interviews with opinions of their subordinates gathered from questioning. The conclusion presents contemporary system of managing labour performance in selected company and further presents solutions for improvement.
Education and human resources development in selected companies

The aim of the diploma thesis called "Education and human resources development in selected companies" is to highlight the prevalent forms of education in selected companies, to analyze them with regard to human resources development and to propose changes leading to improve the future knowledge economy. Two companies have been selected for research: Schwan Cosmetics CR, Ltd., based in Český Krumlov, which produces wooden cosmetic pencils, and Leifheit, Ltd., based in Blatná, producing domestic utensils and fabrics. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part required a number of relevant scholarly treatises to be studied. In this part, the basic terminology pertaining to human resource management, education of employees and knowledge economy is explained. The following part first describes the selected companies and then it focuses on the analysis of education of employees and the human resources development in these companies, by means of questionnaires and unguided interviews with heads of personnel departments. In the closing part, a summary of acquired data, together with recommendations and suggestions for possible improvements are included.
Influence of stress on work performance in selected companies

The main aim of diploma thesis, which called Influence of stress on work performance in selected companies, is to explore stress factors in the workplace and their influence on work performance. In the theoretical part of this thesis were summarized issues of stress, symptoms of stress, stress and healthy, types of stressors, stress factors in the workplace, stress management, work performance and pathological situations in the workplace, such as bossing, mobbing and sexual harassment.
Motivation and stimulation of the employees in chosen companies

The aim of the thesis was the analysis of motivation and stimulation of the employees, focused on education and management of human resources in chosen companies. The first step was the studying of literature, related to motivation and stimulation in human resources management and their education in current and future knowledge economy. The selection of the companies, which were analyzed, followed. Using anonymous questionnaire, the survey was made in both companies among the employees and the information obtained from the questionnaires were completed by the addition of information from undirected interviews. The employees were divided in two categories, the worker and the administrative worker. The questionnaire contained a total of 31 questions that were chosen mostly closed, semi-open less often. They included questions related to motivation, stimulation and education. The results were displayed, using charts and graphs, also the discussion concerning the given topic was added. All relevant facts were summarized in conclusion of the thesis and the suggestions for practical use and improving of the situation in companies were made.
Employee turnover of employees in the selected company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of employee turnover in the company TRW-DAS a.s. Dačice. The first part consists of the theoretical part and in the second part, the analysis was made and the methods for measuring employee turnover in the company TRW-DAS a.s. were applied. Based on the established calculations and information, recommendations and proposals that would lead to a reduction in employee turnover of the company were proposed. The aim of this thesis is to apply the recommendations and solutions that would reduce employee turnover in the company TRW-DAS a.s.
Human Resources Management in a concrete company

The main aim of this work is to analyze Human Resources Management in a concrete company and to suggest steps, based on this analysis, to improve the situation. Topic of this work was chosen because Human Resources Management is very actual and developing subject. This work is based on study of professional literature and analysis of Human Resource Management in company A. This information is supplemented by Value Survey Module Questionnaire 94 by Geert Hofstede. Based on this part of work there were suggested some steps to improve the situation concerning Internet advertising, evaluation interviews, changing of company culture, vision and mission, coaching, creating of new job, visiting "Jobday" in České Budějovice and improvement of communication. Some of these suggestions are closely connected to each other.
Strategic management in a selected organization

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the strategic management in a selected organization and propose a strategy to improve competitiveness. The work deals with the analysis of micro organizations through Porter's five forces model and analysis of internal environment in selected functional areas. In marketing, the reader learns about politics product, pricing, communication and distribution. Financial analysis indicates financial situation. This work also provides insight into the production environment, and human resources management. Based on the evaluation of the current state of the organization through analysis of selected internal and external environment is through the SWOT analysis suggested a strategy that will improve the competitiveness of the organization. In addition to the proposed strategy outlined several proposals to streamline the organization's strategic management in selected areas.
Performance management – effective motivation and development of employees

This dissertation thesis is focused on employee job performance motivation and development. The theoretical part of this thesis was analysed current scientific knowledge in the field of human resources management, performance management and motivation which was further verified practically by a questionnaire survey in a particular company, which is a local branch of an international organization. The questionnaire survey was designed to allow comparison with the market. Based on these findings have been identified weaknesses that were found in practice while applying the concept of performance management. Analysis of survey and available resources were the basis for the creation of a new model of motivating approach to staff development within the application of the concept of performance management. This model has been applied in practice, particularly in the company, which carried out a questionnaire survey. By mentioned above, the objective of the dissertation thesis was filled.
