Title: Evaluation of force presumptions for swimming triathletes from Czech team in training cycle 2010-2011 Intention of work: Evaluation of specific force presumptions for swimming and ability maximal utilit force efficiency in long time stress, wide spektrum of triatlonist from beginners to elite czech competitors. For evaluation we used 3 indikators: 1. average Power Output - PO - [W] 2. average power output on kg body weight - PO.kg-1 - [W.kg-1 ] 3. complete work - W - [Nm] Method: Testing on swim trainer Biokinetic by tests which simulated free style strokes and butterfly strokes. 10 strokes by free style and butterfly styl, 50 and 100 strokes by butterfly style. Results: Some people lives in mistake about their directionality. Someone think, that he is better for long distance, and oposit eis true. Lot of people, in our test, made more work [Nm] in free style strokes, than butterfly strokes. More offen people made more work [Nm] in butterfly strokes. Our people swim butterfly just especialy and that's the reason, why they have more force in crowl. Keywords: Biokinetic, triathlon, swimming, testing, swim force.

Does appreciation of the Czech crown lead to growth of the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic?
Svobodová, Lucie ; Mičúch, Marek (advisor) ; Lahvička, Jiří (referee)
The paper investigates the impact of changes in the exchange rate of the Czech crown against the Euro on the rate of unemployment in the Czech Republic. The survey is using time series from 2000 to 2010 and there are used two models. A brief theoretical framework discusses several papers on this topic. The results of empirical testing confirm the hypothesis of the work. Appreciation of the Czech crown against the Euro by 1 crown causes an increase in the unemployment rate by 0.028% and by 0.023% with inclusion of average real wage into the model. Moreover German GDP, Czech import, labour productivity and average real wage have statistically significant effect (at least on the 10% significance level) on the growth of unemployment.

Epidemiological trends of treatment benign prostate hyperplasia Background: The purpose of the work was to follow up trends of treatment benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in Czech Republic. The aim of second part was to review the registered alpha-blockers and finasterides in Czech Republic from 1997 to 2008. The last part compares the expenses for transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), transvesical prostatectomy (TVPE) and the annual treatment with tamsulosin in Slovakia, Poland, Germany, Austria and the United States of America. Methods: The first part is based on data provided by the Urological Clinic of Faculty hospital in Hradec Králové for the decade 1997 - 2007. An increase was observed of the number of patients and the medical therapy and a fall of the surgical therapy of TURP and TVPE. Financial charges were based on informations from foreign clinics and articles. Results: The number of patients with BPH increased from 1624 in 2003 to 2140 in 2007. There were on average 2491 prescriptions per year and the number of patient's visits was 2,12. TURP was practised more on the clinic. The percentage of patients with TURP decreased from 11,76 % to 5,47 % in years 2003 to 2007. TVPE fell from 1,24 % in 2006 to 0,56 % in 2007. The number of registered alpha-blockers increased from 5 to...

Evaluation of transdermal permeability of folic acid using methylparaben as marker.
Kubíková, Kateřina ; Berka, Pavel (advisor) ; Doležal, Pavel (referee)
In the theoretical part, there is briefly described the problematic of skin in the connection with transdermal permeability of substances. This part is followed by a general summary about transdermal permeability testing. Further on there were described the basic features of methylparaben and folic acid as substances used for permeability tests. Experimental part of the diploma thesis describes the testing conditions for in vitro testing of permeability of methylparaben and folic acid from the TRIS buffer, the TRIS buffer with propylene glycol (PG) (3:2), isopropyl myristate (IPM) and isopropyl myristate (IPM) with parafin oil (PO) (2:3) through the full thickness pig ear skin. Measured values of normalized fluxes of folic acid JKLn were as follows: from TRIS buffer: 1,00 ± 0,47, RSD 46,5%; from TRIS buffer with PG: 0,28 ± 0,11, RSD 40,1%; from IPM: 0,86 ± 0,72, RSD 83,4%; from IPM and PO: 2,08 ± 3,91, RSD 188,2%. The following average ratios of folic acid normalized fluxes and methylparaben normalized fluxes JKLn/JMPn from separate donors (and their standard devations and relative standard deviations) were obtained: from TRIS buffer: 0,98 ± 0,46, RSD 46,3%; from TRIS buffer with PG: 0,18 ± 0,09, RSD 52,2%; from IPM: 0,78 ± 0,77, RSD 98,9%; from IPM and PO: 1,76 ± 2,86, RSD 162,4%.
