Vocational rehabilitation and supported employment of people with disabilities in the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the position of people with disabilities on the labour market in the Czech Republic, on the received arrangements for support of their employment and on their possibilities to get a job. The first part deals with characteristics of the present situation of disabled people on the labour market and with specification of various factors, which can influence their employment. The next part is focused on the supported employment service, which helps disadvantaged people on the labour market, especially people with disabilities, on the principles and advantages of this service and also on the comparison of the Czech experiences with experiences of the chosen European union countries. Only the nongovernmental non-profit organizations so far offer the supported employment service in the Czech Republic and that is why the following part discusses the topic of this organizations and their financing, especially funding from EU structural funds, which are the most important source of money for most of the mentioned organizations. The final part deals with the incentives, which can lead employers to employ the person with disability.

Non-profit Organizations in National Accounts

Cílem práce je zmapovat dosud nepříliš probádanou oblast neziskových organizací a její podskupiny neziskových institucí sloužících domácnostem (NISD). Jde tedy především o analýzu dat ze satelitního účtu neziskových institucí, ale také nástin problémů, které jsou spojeny s jeho zaváděním. Satelitní účet zobrazuje data za neziskové organizace ze všech sektorů národního hospodářství. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část se zabývá vymezením pojmů neziskové organizace a NISD, dále jsou uvedeny jejich klasifikace a způsoby statistického zjišťování. V druhé části jsou nejprve analyzovány výsledky sektoru NISD, poté také výsledky satelitního účtu neziskových institucí. Ve třetí části bylo provedeno mezinárodní srovnání výsledků neziskových organizací s Belgií, Finskem a Slovenskem. Na závěr jsou pro doplnění uvedeny ještě ukazatele za neziskové organizace z dalších i mimoevropských států.

Fundraising je činnost, která se zabývá získáváním finančních prostředků pro neziskové organizace. Teoretická část práce zmiňuje především obecné poznatky o metodách a nástrojích fundraisingu. Tím je míněno, čím se fundraising zabývá, jaké jsou jeho strategie, metody a způsoby používání a kdo ho provádí. V praktické části je fundraisingový proces na konkrétním příkladu občanského družení Proutek následně popsán a analyzován z hlediska dosavadních fundraisingových aktivit.

The thesis contains the definitions of basic terms from the field of non-profit sector. The importance of functional organizational structure choice is shown on a practical example. Additionally, the thesis is focused on practical connection of questions of financing non-profit organizations and the theory that was covered by available literature. After all, thesis covers the importance of strategic planning for solid and long-term operation of organization. This topic is described on the example of done SWOT analysis.

Facilitace v procesu strategického plánování neziskové organizace

Práce podává v metodologické části komplexní informaci o strategickém plánování v neziskových organizacích a o facilitaci strategického plánování, v rámci případové studie popisuje a zkoumá strategické plánování za pomoci facilitátora v Nadaci barokního divadla zámku Český Krumlov. S ohledem na specifika neziskových organizací oproti ziskovému sektoru jsou na základě syntézy teoretických a praktických poznatků v závěru práce vybrány kritické oblasti strategického plánování, na které by měl management neziskových organizací zaměřit svou pozornost s cílem zkvalitnit součinnost facilitátora a neziskové organizace a zvýšit účinnost strategického plánování vzhledem k vynaloženým nákladům, času a úsilí.

Accounting and funding of fundations and endowment funds

My thesis is focused on non-profit organizations, mainly on foundations and endowment funds. Theoretical part of my thesis deals with characterization of each individual non-governmental non-profit organization. Next pages of the theoretical thesis are focused on accounting of foundations and endowment funds and analyses structure of sources, belongings, costs, returns, expenditures and earnings. The topic of practical part of my thesis is accounting, funding and economy of Czech Radio's endowment fund.
