In front of an object. The question of distance and aura in thought of Georges Didi-Huberman
Váša, Ondřej ; Fulka, Josef (referee) ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor)
The essay concebtrates around the thinking of french philosopher Georges Didi-Huberman and his reception of Walter Benjamin's term aura, which is strongly connected to the critique of classical art history and re-thinking colour and material as stain, it's symptomal nature and not only compositional, but also de-compositional features. One of the centres of this essay is interpretation of Titian's painting Apollo and Marsyas, painting, which sophisticatedly problematizes viewing the painting as pure illusion or manifestation of ideas in matter. The second milestone are works of american minimalism, which are places of radiating aura, but aura in stae of her own decay. We tried to show, that if the original meaning of aura was connected to cultic works of art and their presented inaccessibility, in case of american minimalists it is surviving as a experience of turn-arounded vertigo.

Decontamination of the large-scale facility
BURDA, Radek
The theoretical part of the thesis is divided in the five main chapters. First chapter generally defines the term ?contamination?, which is closely related to the decontamination. Second chapter is focused on the microbial contamination, defines infectious agents, the mechanisms of its spread and points out microbes most likely to be misused as a biological weapon. Third chapter of the theoretical part addresses the decontamination itself. It defines the decontamination in general aiming for microbial decontamination, i.e. the biological agent surface and environment removal. Two basic groups of decontamination e.g. physical and chemical procedures are mentioned in this chapter. Fourth chapter presents valid standards describing various types of examinations for the desinfecting preparations efficacy evaluation. The last chapter of the theoretical part covers large-scale facilities, defines them and describes experimental facilities at the Department of large-scale testing in the National institute for nuclear, chemical and biological protection in Kamenna. The aim of the thesis is to create own methodology of the disinfactant efficiency testing with emphasis on the real condition simulation. The decontamination was carried out by means of following methods: aerosol generator method, decontamination by evaporation, manual sprayer and engine sprayer respectively. For the analysis we chose these disinfactants: Chirosan? Plus, Incidin OxyDes, Kohrsolin? FF, Korsolex? basic, Persteril? 36 and Sanosil? Super 25 Ag. The disinfectant efficiency was tested in 30, 60 and 120 m3 facilities. The tested B-agents were: Bacillus anthracis, Bacillus atrophaeus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae. For the decontamination efficiency verification we used a modified surface assay, a modified suspension assay and an agarose assay. The following issues were of concern: We found out that, based on the analysis of different techniques of decontamination, the large-scale facility decontamination is feasible. The most effective method of decontamination appears the manual and engine spraying with the latter more convenient for spaces over the 30 m3 in the matter of time. The decontamination by evaporation was inefficient for the large-scale facility decontamination. Experiments revealed that method based on aerosol distribution is convenient for large-scale facility decontamination. However, the nature of decontaminating preparation has to be considered. All disinfactants tested have shown good bactericidal activity. Nevertheless, only Korsolex? basic a Persteril? 36 have shown sufficient sporicidal activity with equal effect. The disadvantage of the preparation Persteril? 36 is its significant corrosive activity, on the other hand is inexpensive. The preparation Korsolex? basic contains anticorrosive compounds, but is more expensive than Persteril? 36. Our results demonstrated that the most convenient method for the decomtamination of facilities up to the 30 m3 is the manual aerosol sprayer. For facilities of larger volume the engine sprayer decontamination is more convenient. From the preparations tested, only Korsolex? basic a Persteril? 36 are, with respect to advantages and disadvantages, usable in the Department of large-scale testing in the National institute for nuclear, chemical and biological protection in Kamenna.

Collection of examples from mathematics for 6 th class of basic school
TOMANDLOVÁ, Lucie
This Bachelor´s thesis ?The collection of mathematical exercises for the 6th form pupils of basic school?, which I wrote using the textbooks, workbooks and collections from three different countries for the 6th form pupils of basic school, should supplement the shortage of exercises concerning the subject matter discussed in mathematics of the 6th form. This collection can serve as remedial education to weaker and average pupils as well as to talented pupils to intensify their interest in mathematics. More difficult exercises are marked with a picture of a dolphin. Last chapter in this collection focuses on those talented pupils and their preparation for Mathematical Olympiads.

European Area of Justice - Brusses I Regulation
Patočka, Radim ; Grmelová, Nicole (advisor) ; Kotoučová, Jiřina (referee)
The scope of this thesis is regulation (EC)No. 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgements in civil and commercial matters. The provisions of Regulation is aiming the improvement and simplification of the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements within the territory of the EU. According to the title of regulation this tesis is diveded in several parts explaining the key elements of developing the other maxime of the EU-free movement of judgements. First part includes the general fundamentals for determination of jurisdiction in cases with transborder element which is essential for aplication of this regulation as a part of legislation on international private law. Thanks to the nearly identical wording of Brussels I Regulation and Convention dealing with the same matter from the year 1968, all legal opinions of European Court of Justice related to that Convention can be invoked nowdays. Second part and third part turn to recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements in order to ensure the situation when "the declaration that a judgement is enforceable should be issued virtually automatically after purely formal checks of the documents supplied, without there being any possibility for the court to raise of its own motion on any of the ground for non-enforcement provided by this Regulation". The last part contents future trend in this sphere which can be seen from application of other regulation (European enforcement order, European order for payment procedure)giving rise to rapid and simple mechanism in specific cases. Especially it treats of cancellation special exequator proceeding which should be undertaken to achieve that foreign judgement would be enforceable.

Pain assessment in intensive care nurses view
Haklová, Andrea ; Koutná, Markéta (advisor) ; Nosková, Pavlína (referee)
Pain has a strong impact on quality of life. Even nowadays, in Czech Republic pain is underestimated both by sanitarians and patients. In consequence of this depreciation, only marginal pain treatment applies and the means are not always appropriate. Progress in medicine goes forward all the time. We are finding new solutions for formerly insolvable problems. Despite of that, quality of life in 21.century is significantly influenced by pain and even these days people are dying in pain, which we are unable to abolish completely. In health care we witness pain more often then anywhere else. That is the reason for this work to focus on matters of pain and its treatment. The aim of this thesis is to investigate handling pain at the Intensive Care Units. I focused on departments of anesthesiology and intensive care, where most often are unconscious people who cannot express the pain verbally. I tried to observe if nurses are familiar with signs of pain, whether they are able to assess the pain and which is the most common way of this assessment. Likewise I was interested in how the documentation aimed on pain is administered. First part of the thesis clarifies the theory of pain, which is briefly described here. In the second part of the work there are results of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was targeted...

The transforming power of places: the impact of the spatial setting on characters in Graham Greene's novel The Heart of the Matter
Shánělová, Jindra ; Nováková, Soňa (referee) ; Beran, Zdeněk (advisor)
The English novelist Graham Greene kept a journal for most of his life, except when it might threaten his safety.1 There he captured both mundane as well as extraordinary or otherwise noteworthy moments as a reminder in case he may one day run out of ideas for his fiction. As it happened, however, during his wartime service in African Sierra Leone, the danger of keeping any personal records could have posed too great a threat to himself and his professional interests that, as he came to regret some years later, he had to rely on his memory in order to put together scattered shreds of memories of this particular time of his life which became the main source for one of his masterpieces, the 1948 novel The Heart of the Matter. In it he captures the paradoxical situation of Europeans who for professional reasons inhabit these distant and alien corners of the Earth. There he places the protagonist, Major Scobie, and others in order to construe a drama of as common life as we know it, only spiced up by the African setting as a dislocating element, a background for the kaleidoscope of human problems that are correspondingly tinted by the tropical heat. It is the purpose of this paper to show the workings of the spatial setting as an inseparable part of the novel as well as its inevitable impact on the characters....

Copyright protection in music industry
Kammermayerová, Tereza ; Holcová, Irena (referee) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (advisor)
Copyright protection in the musical industry The puropse of my thesis is to analyse the musical work in context of the main source of the Czech copyright protection and with the inclusion of the protective instruments. The reason for my research is coming closer to the legal rules of musical work's application, thereby avoiding the unlawful use. First of all I pay attention to the basic information about the copyright and the musical work . At the digital age, due the technology development, is everyone able to use all these facilities, and there is no different in the musical industry. Authors, performers and recording companies, each of them is loosing every year their profits thank to the illegal use. There is no surprise they are inetersted in new facilities in the copyright protection and they are supporting the operating system. The thesis consists of night chapters, each of them is dealing with different aspects of the musical work. First introductory chapter defines what the intellectual property and copyright protection is, which matter of copyright is protected, including the Czech system of the copyright. We can find similar system in Chapter Two, there is a description of the basic concepts as author and his art, all in respect with musical work. Chapter three deals with a content and...

International conventions and the protection of the environment
Kunstová, Lenka ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Snopková, Tereza (referee)
[192] 13. ABSTRACT International Agreements and Environmental Protection This paper focuses on providing a detailed examination of international agreements that are currently one of the most significant sources of international environmental law. The objective of this paper is not to exhaustively describe all aspects of these agreements, but to summarize their typical elements that distinguish them from the agreements that are governing different fields of international public law. The first two chapters of the paper are devoted to the determination of its scope and a brief introduction into the position of these agreements within the system of sources of international environment law. The introduction is followed by historical excurse that maps the dynamic evolution of environmental treaty- making from 19th century to present while focusing on major events, such as UN diplomatic conferences on environmental issues, which accelerated international cooperation. Procedural matters are examined in Chapter 4 which provides an overview of how the agreements are drafted, entered into force and how they face the challenge of timely adaptation as a main requirement for effective protection of environment through international law. The paper also describes the most frequent legal techniques and mechanisms for...
