New Bus Station in Humpolec
Sejkora, Jan ; Všetečka, Martin (referee) ; Pavlíček, Jan (advisor)
The bus station is situated approximately 300 meters from the train station and is property of ICOM Transport a.s. company, which decided to both move the bus station to its headquarters premises due to the overdimensionality of station, and to sell the area. The other reason is the fact that coaches do not stop at current bus station and instead use bus stops which are closer to the city center. The base in the form of a waiting room is already in place of the newly planned bus station. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose several options of bus station and compare them with the proposal put forward by ICOM Transport a.s.

Pazourová, Nikola
In my bachelor thesis I deal with Quality of Life in the city of Jihlava. This thesis analyzes the current situation of public satisfaction with the quality of life in six particular areas. The theoretical part includes pieces of knowledge from literature relevant to this theme and there are basic terms presented there as well. In the practical part of the thesis I made a questionnaire analysis with inhabitants of the city of Jihlava being therespondents. The results of the survey indicate content of inhabitants with the areas of culture and health. Problematic areas include the labor market and employment - specifically the lack of vacancies - and transport - especially a problem with an insufficient amount of parking places and bad road conditions. The final part contains recommendations designed for the city council to improve the quality of life in the city.

Geopolitical influence of USA in Subs-saharan Africa and its changes during 2nd half of 20th century
Chaloupková, Jana ; Riegl, Martin (advisor) ; Romancov, Michael (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused on a progress in four Sub-Saharan countries (Liberia, Nigeria, Somalia and Rwanda) during Cold War and the 90's and on a role of United States of America in this progress. How relations of Cold War allies or enemies determinate the current Africa policy of United States is the fundamental question of this thesis. Author uses Mill's Method of Agreement. Intervention or involvement in ethnic or civil conflict in the 90's was chosen as a dependent variable. It should symbolize growing U.S. interest in the country. Nondependent variables are factors which can affect the decision making process of intervention - Cold War collaboration, involvement in the proxy war, humanitarian aid or military assistance, troops training. Thesis uses empirical-analytical approach. First and second chapter are moreover focused on complex U.S. Africa Policy, on its development and current situation. They describe humanitarian and other agencies and also approaches of U.S. presidents since the end of the Second World War. Other chapters are written as a One Case Studies, the comparison of them as well as problems of intervention are included in last chapter.

Černohlávková, Květa ; Skýbová, Jana (advisor) ; Ziegler, Václav (referee)
The Junior Ranger Project (JRP) is a Europarc Federation pilot project, which has been going on in many European states as well as outside Europe since 2002. The main aim of JRP is first and foremost to boost the image of protected areas management bodies by influencing children and subsequently people round them (parents, schoolmates etc.). The thesis comprises five self-contained one-day JRP programs created ad hoc to work with youngsters in the field of nature conservation and ecology. In the programs, children are introduced to the job of protected area conservationists. They become Junior Rangers and acquire and develop abilities and skills that every real rangers must possess. A ranger should know a lot about nature but he should also be able to pass information in an appropriate manner. To know how to communicate and react in conflict or crisis is very important for him. The thesis thus contains programs focused on learning about natural conditions of protected areas (reserves), training to build up skills facilitating staying in nature, and communication training. Prezent and future of human resources management
Vraná, Marcela ; Pivoňková, Lucie (referee) ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor)
The main focus of my thesis is the evolution of personnel work, development of management and corporate culture, current trends and difficulties in the human resources work, the future of human resources management and motivation of employees. The first place is occupied on purpose by the evolution of personnel work, since the thesis is primarily about the human resources management. The development of management gives the chapter a final touch and makes it possible for the reader to find a parallel between different directions in management in the context of a human resources work development. The human resources management as a development stage of the personnel work significantly touches the activities of every organisation; it forms an important part of them. In the environment of many organisations, however, its mission is largely underestimated; the personnel department is perceived as being only an administrative one; often the education and training is chaotic, if any. The attention dedicated to the recruitment of employees and line managers is insufficient. The personnel professionals are to a certain extent disadvantaged within their organisations; their activity is considered auxiliary serving especially for supporting the line management. There occurs a conflict of roles and competencies. In my...

Outdoor training
Tímto propojením vznikají velice atraktivní a zábavné programy, kde bývá motivace účastníků větší něž při klasickém způsobu učení, tudíž i efekt učení bývá větší.
