Biometric 2D face recognition from camera system placed on a quadrocopter
Mikundová, Lea ; Mráček, Štěpán (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This Bc. thesis is devoted to face recognization from camera system placed on a quadrocopter. The teoretical part is about the most used methods for detection and face recognition and their comparison. The next part is about motion capturing from quadrocopter. Practical part of thesis is devoted to implementation of algorithms for face detection and recognization by OpenCV library and evaluation of algorithm in respect to distance and angle of quadrocopter due to captured person.

Visualization of Information in Intelligent Home
Sakin, Martin ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a graphical application that shows the status of intellingent home. Application run directly on the adapter that communicates with sensors and actuators. Its graphical output can be displayed via the HDMI connector or remotely over X-Server. The application is implemented in C++ and using the Qt graphics libraries. The goal is simply and clearly to display important information about the household even in case of failure of the LAN.

Application for Document Management
Švestka, Jakub ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of web application for the preparation control and document management. The application provides the visitors with documents concerning various events (e.g. conferences) and these documents can be purchased by means of their credit which can be topped up by means of pay gateway. The next purpose of the application is document preparation control, where the users gradually submit their work to the system and therefore the administrator can be informed about the task execution. The thesis puts the accent on user-friendly interface, responsive design and accessibility. The application is built on standard PHP 5.6 technology with Nette foundation framework Nette, Twitter Bootstrap framework and jQuery library. The contents of my thesis is accessible to the public on the www.monitorevent.cz website.

System for Sharing Scanners over Network
Richter, Martin ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this master's thesis is creation of a system capable of sharing scanners over computer network. The target scanner interfaces are TWAIN and WIA on Microsoft Windows operating system, and SANE on GNU/Linux. C++ programming language, Boost libraries and Qt framework were used to implement the programming part of this work. Several smaller helper libraries were implemented that are useful even outside this work, most notably TWAIN++ framework. The resulting system enables the user to share scanners over network, and scan using any of the aforementioned interfaces.

Particle Systems
Šik, Martin ; Kmoch, Petr (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
In the present work I concern myself with the development of Particle systems library independent on any concrete graphical library. Particle systems are used in various graphical applications to render interesting e ects (for example: fi re, waterfall, smoke, explosions, etc.) which are nearly impossible to be rendered the same way as other ordinary objects in scene. Given the fact that this is very complex theme I choose to concentrate mostly on interactions between particles that would be fast enough for online rendering. For possible hard to compute interactions I allow saving calculated properties of particles and afterwards their fast playback. Because many moderns processors have more than one core some calculations in my library can run parallel in more threads.

Bohemika in the castle library collection in Český Krumlov
ČECHOVÁ, Petra
My thesis Bohemika in the castle library collection in Český Krumlov is devoted to the processing of the Czech collection of the castle library in Český Krumlov. The primary source are Czech books, which are now stored in the castle library. The Czech collection was developed by the aristocratic family of Schwarzenberg. In my thesis I deal not only with the general evaluation of this part of the collection, but also with the attitude of individual book owners towards the Czech language and literature. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter briefly describes the development of Český Krumlov Castle and the castle library, the second chapter is devoted to the general evaluation of the Czech collection in the library. The third chapter outlines the historical development of Schwarzenberg family in the concept of the castle library. There is a significant point of view of the owners of the Czech books and the access of the individual members to the Czech language and literature. The fourth chapter focuses in detail on the area of artistic literature and its presence in the castle library. The fifth chapter deals with the Czech collection of the castle library in Vrchotovy Janovice and its owners, particularly with the baroness Sidonie Nádherná from Borutín. The book collections of both the libraries are compared in the end of the thesis. The thesis also includes the catalogue of the Czech books, which I prepared and organized.
