Basic physical preparation in rhythmic gymnastics
Šimůnková, Iveta ; Novotná, Viléma (advisor) ; Hátlová, Běla (referee) ; Kopřivová, Jitka (referee)
of disertation Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) is the only Olympia sport of girls and women and it is characterized by precision, fluency and elegance of movement that emphasizes feminine beauty and grace. At present, there is no coherent concept of long-term sports training of talented gymnasts in Czech RG. The outflow of athletes is evident especially during prepubescence. Basic RG preparation aims gradual development of motor abilities, practice of sports (gymnastics) skills and the beginning of specialized techniques based on the principle of comprehensive movement base. This period (in rhythmic gymnastics between 7-9 years of gymnasts) for further performance growth is very substantial, in terms of content and in terms of training forms and influence of trainers (coaches). Defining the content of movement and gymnastic activities determines the path of development athletes and also defines (for caoches) performance criteria in each age category. The aim of disertation was to verify correspondence between published scientific theories and trainers experience of coaching using the Repertory Grid Technique. Along the way sixteen semi-structured interviews with selected experts was achieved interpersonal and intrapersonal data. Experts in the preparation of RG agreed on the fact that in practice a set of...
The Influence of actual psychical states on performance in rhythmic gymnastics
Gabrielová, Linda ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Klapač, Michal (referee)
Title: The Influence of actual psychical states on performance in rhythmic gymnastics Objectives: The aim of the study work is to describe the interdependence of actual psychical states and performance in rhythmic gymnastics. Collected data should bring an overview of the positive and negative influences of psyche to gymnast's competitions performance. Methods: The chosen research is qualitative, because the research sample is small. The research is implemented mainly by structured observation, which is accompanied by a simple questionnaire. During the competitions the research observed previously selected categories of actual psychical states, which were evaluated on a range of five degree. Then the performance was evaluated. Results: The results shown the link between all psychical states and performance and they confirmed, that the psyche is an important factor during every competition. The high anxiety was the key factor, which negatively affected the performance. Also the activity of gymnasts in competition and looking forward to the competition influenced the quality of their routines. Influence of rhythmic gymnastics on body posture within the hypermobility among girls
REVAJOVÁ, Tereza
This thesis deals with the problem of hypermobility and its influence on body posture of rhytmics gymnasts. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part theory, I tried to outline rhytmic gymnastics as a sports discipline and to specify general aspects of this sport. Furthermore, I summarized the anatomy associated with this issue in accordance with the movement in general. Finally, I focused on the issue of hypermobility, its detailed description, testing and therapy opinions. In the practical part I focused on the composition of training, subsequent compensatory exercises and appropriate therapy for gymnasts at the top-level of performance - SKMG Chodov Praha and at the lower-level of performance - MG Meteor. I carried out the detailed analysis of kinesiology with a focus on the examination of hypermobility. On the basis of the obtained results, I prepared a short-term therapeutic plan. I went to training sessions once a week for a period of three months. The gymnasts, their parents and trainers had been acquainted with the exercises that I recommended them to practice during the training or at home. I carried out a final kinesiology analysis after three months and proposed a long-term rehabilitation schedule. The therapy plan mainly consisted of relaxation techniques, soft tissue techniques, correction of muscle imbalances, proprioceptive techniques, elements of dynamic neuromuscular facilitation and more. The aim of my thesis was to point out the possible risks of rhytmic gymnastics, the impact of targeted training, concerning the increase in joint range, an impact on the overall body posture, together with a proposal for physiotherapy and the appropriate motion program as an integral part of training session. Based on the results we can conclude that physiotherapy has a positive effect on the body of gymnasts. With all subjects, there was a partial alleviation of pain and reduction of muscle imbalances. These were mainly the reduction of hypertonus in PV muscles, the treatment of TrPs, improvement in function of diaphragm and proprioceptive sensation. This suggests that physiotherapy should be an integral part of training plans in rhythmic gymnastics as a prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal system.

Illichová, Martina ; Holá, Iveta (advisor) ; Panská, Šárka (referee)

In this analysis I will focus on the way of the throwing and the catching of the hoop. Also I will to focus on the question how many times can be this kind of manipulation found in each routine of rhythmic gymnasts. Title: Types of throwing and catching of hand apparatuses in comparation of world and czech top competitors in Rhythmic gymnastics optional routines. Objectives: The aim of this work is the comparison of Czech and world rhythmic gymnastics techniques of the exercises with the hand apparatus with focus on the throwing and the catching of the hoop. Methods: In this paper I'm using the method of quantitative analysis. To get the relevant data for the analysis I'll use the videotapes from the 2011 World Championship in Montpellier. I will compare six world rhythmic gymnasts from this Championship with the optional routines with the hoop of three Czech representatives from the national competition Grand Prix Brno and one Czech representative from another Czech official competition. Results: Through the analysis of the videotapes of the Czech rhythmic gymnasts...
Comparison of circadian typology and circadian rhythms of female pubescents - sportsmen and nonsportsmen
FIŠEROVÁ, Monika
Circadian rhythm is biorhythm. This rhythm influences activity of some organs and releasing of hormones. Effective alternation of activity and resting in organism is influenced too. Highest body temperature of human body is physiologically in evenings, in association with activity. Preference of evening typology in sportsmen can have negative impact for shortening of sleeping time and forming of sleep deprivation. This condition may cause quicker incidence of civilizing disease and diseases occurred in elderly, including psychological problems. There are compared two groups of girls in pubescent age, from 9 to 15 years old - sportsmen and nonsportsmen in this thesis. The main aim is to find out, if the sportsmen group is more evening typology. "Questionnaire of life rhythms and sleeping habits 9 - 15 years" (KREJČÍ, HARADA, 2010) was used in this study. There were collected 35 questionnaires from both groups. Evaluation was done by arithmetic mean and statistical tests were figured at University of Kochi by dr. Takeuchi, Japan. Girls of both groups don't show significant difference in morning or evening typology, but GS insignificantly show inclination for morning typology. GS eats regularly and has regular breakfasts. Girls of GS insignificantly showed worse results in mental health, than control group (KS). But better sleep quality showed GS. BMI was lower in GS. My prediction, that GS is tent to evening typology was not validated. Morning life style of the people with morning typology is more contributive for health. Duration of sleep of the girls of both groups is not sufficient in this age. Girls of GS sleep shorter time than KS. Program of intervention aimed to improve sleeping hygiene would be profitable for GS.
Creation and verification of a set of compensatory excercises when lumbar lordosis enlarged at younger school-age children devoted to modern gymnastics
NOVÁKOVÁ, Zuzana
The thesis deals with creating and verifying of a set of compensatory excercises for children of younger school-age devoted to modern gymnastics. The experiment ran with two gymnastic groups from Prachatice and Volary. Every girl underwent an examination of hyperlordosis degree and a muscle strength and stretch level. Finally, it was proved that these girls suffer from hyperlordosis indeed. Therefore a set of excercises had been created and later applied on the girl gymnasts. Five months later the second measuring was realised and proved that the experiment was a success.
