Traditional Ceremonies and Rituals at Waldorf Kindergarten

My work deals with Waldorf pedagogy, how it began, its characterization, main principles and elements which it uses, especially with traditional ceremonies and rituals. I am introducing you into the characterization of preschool child how it is understood at Waldorf educational system. I am pointing out ceremonies and rituals, which are held universaly at Waldorf nursery schools. I stress out their meaning and contribution for preschool kids. Traditional rituals arecharacterized in our own point of view, depending how we see them. Last part is about one of these kindergartens, in Ceske Budejovice to be more specific.

Time management skills of VŠE students

This thesis deals with time management skills and organization of time of VŠE students. Its aim is to cover 4 subsequent questions: How, in reality, do students use their time? How do students feel that they are using their time? Which time management methods do they utilize? What is their opinion regarding time management? The theoretical part firstly describes the development trends of the current era. Then, time management and its tasks are put into the context of this era. Subsequently, a detailed history of time management and the role of goal setting are explained. In the empirical part, activity logs of 7 respondents are analyzed.

The Image of Islam in the Czech Republic

The focus of this masters thesis is on the phenomenon of stereotypical images of muslims and islam produced in the czech society. The effort is given to finding out these simplified images a indetifying factors leading to their creation. The solution of this problém is based on quantitaive research, which is used to identify possible dependencies in muslim and islam perception on different factors. All dependencies are statistically tested. The image of islam, as percieved by the majority in the Czech Republic, is then constructed based on questionnaire survey, statistical resuslts and media analysis.

Doing business in Argentina: Challenges and Opportunities

This thesis presents current business climate in Argentina. It aims to provide an overview of the investment environment and to extend previous studies by closer view on the energy industry. Its main findings are the following ones: Recent economic and political development rise concerns among policy makers and executives. Argentina applies strong interventionist policy and frequently interfere into the free market functioning. Among the most important issues are: foreign currency controls, manipulation of statistical results and noncompliance with its debt obligation. In various occasion expropriated private companies with aim of markets correction. The thesis also presents a case study of the Spanish company Repsol, whose investments in the Argentinean YPF were nationalized. According to my findings this act occurred under unconventional procedure and violated several laws and agreements. These policies resulted in the lower confidence among foreign investors. And despite that final figures for 2012 are still not available, there are various signs that the level of investment declines.

Corruption in Slovakia: The role of non-government organizations in fight against corruption

Corruption as a contemporary phenomenon attracts attention of laymen but also experts who are trying to define this notion on the basis of various criterions. The aim of this thesis is to theoretically define corruption as the attendant phenomenon of the current society and to analyze methods of its solution. The studied country is Slovak republic which as a post-communist country shows some specifics. There are many proposed ways how to solve the problem of corruption however this thesis concerns itself primarily with the role of non-government organizations and their ability to actually influence political acts concerned with restricting of corruption possibilities. The intense cooperation among these non-government organizations and especially their cooperation with the government is crucial in order to be able to influence the political agenda. Therefore this thesis deals with this non-government organizations -- government relationship as well.

Bachelor thesis " Juvenile delinquency " is a compendium of information on the origin and causes of children and youth. The main goal of this work is to outline the issues of child crime , to identify factors associated with the increase in juvenile crime and to remedy their shortcomings . In addition to performances by Act No. 218/2003 Coll . Liability for unlawful acts of Youth and Juvenile Justice , introduces the possibility of punishment for juvenile offenders and focuses on the causes of criminal behavior among juveniles . The first part consists of a historical perspective on the criminal liability of minors and its evolution . This thesis presents among other important concepts in the legislative field of juvenile delinquency are thus specified statistical outputs Police and examples of police practice. Of course there are also the prevention of juvenile criminal responsibility from the perspective of Police of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is the result of research that was carried out between police officers in London. A short questionnaire was distributed to several district The Department of Police and associates it anonymously completed.

Tato diplomová práce je souhrnným textem o chřástalovi polním - jeho morfologii, životním cyklu a prognózách vývoje chřástalí populace. Popisuje druhy ohrožení chřástala a největší rizika pro jeho vývoj a rozmnožování. Zabývá se způsoby ochrany chřástala v přírodě i národní a evropskou legislativou. Zároveň porovnává úroveň ochrany v některých státech světa. Dále charakterizuje populační trendy a výzkum chřástala v České republice. Přináší pohled na rozšíření a vývoj světové populace tohoto ohroženého druhu. Součástí práce je i dotazníkový výzkum provedený mezi žáky 2. stupně základní školy o znalosti chřástala polního. Výstupem dotazníku je populárněnaučný text pro základní školy "Chřástal polní - vzácný pták na louce za vaší zahradou".

Effectivity of banner advertisement

The thesis deals about banner advertisement. After brief introduction, theoretical basis describes how did banner advertisement go throughout the timeline, what are the possibilities of banner advertisement, which technologies can be used for proper banner advertisement, how is it measured, etc. In practical part of thesis a global company is introduced and there are analyzed ways how it uses banners in its web presentation. In final part a research is made to point out the importance of various factors effecting the efficiency of banner advertising. In conclusion author summarizes findings and tries to give hints how to use powers of effective advertising in bussinnes.

Exeiting Situations in the Life of Afghan Refugees in the Czech Republic

The thesis is titled "Exciting situations in the Life of afghan Refugees in Czech Republic". The main objective of the theoretical part is to present the "exciting situations" with which the Afghan Refugees are in confrontation (in their homeland, during their travel to the host country, in Czech Republic during the Asylum process, and in the Czech society) and the consequences of these situations on the psychosocial environment of the refugees. In the practical part, a questionnaire'based research is presented. This is focused on the "exciting situations" of the informants - the Afghan refugees, living in Czech Republic. The research has practically confirmed the theoretical part concerned with these "exciting situations". The end of the research is focused on comparing two studies on "exciting situations" - Iraqi refugees and Afghani ones; are there any similarities between the refugees of these two different countries? Or on contrary, differences lie ahead? The research has included so small sample of informants that it cannot be used as an objective resource. It is created to be an example to reflex and support the theoretical part of the work, and to be a theme of better understanding and introduction of the presented issues.
