Model simulation using SIMIT
Váňa, Dominik ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on simulating a technological proces. The teorethical part of the text deals with the simulation tools available on the market. Special attention is paid to SIMIT tool, which is a complex solution for simulating processes. The thesis describes the basic control and the procedure of creation in this tool. The theoretical analysis presents the possibilities of its extension with additional libraries. It contains a brief description about these libraries, which provide much more simulation options. SIMIT is a virtual commissioning tool, a process design approach that is used to simulate a virtual factory model, test it, and debug it before it is deployed. This is a cost-effective and timesaving approach. In the practical part of the thesis two simulators were created with the SIMT tool, each of which simulates an excercise from the subject „Programmable logigs controllers“ (BPGA). The thesis presents model schemes of simulated processes that replace the real physical model. The results of the work are the created simulators, descriptions of their operation and valuation of their features and the properties of the SIMT program itself.

The aim of this work is to describe the principles of the Industry 4.0 initiative defaced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Creating a search of the current state of industrial robots and manipulators according to their design and application. Design an ideological robotic workplace at BUT premises in kontext with Industry 4.0
Sense of automation for mechanical product processes
Jevická, Barbora ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the sense of automation in terms of innovation of production processes. The machine examples describe the current situation of a particular manufacturing process of a particular manufacturing company. The aim is to emphasize the influence of automated machine on the course of the production process. It points to the innovation of the production process and its benefits. At the same time, further improvement steps are being proposed that gradually move the manufacturing company to Industry 4.0 level. This analyzes the possibilities of using this concept of the future and its elements.
Industrial robotic arm model
Sobota, David ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with problematics if industrial robotic arms, with theirs constructions, controling and with theirs role in Industry 4.0. Work describes the process of development and realization of the industrial robotic arm model by 3D printing. Besides construction fo model, work deals with firmware, software and inversion kinematics crucial to controling. Model of robotic arm will be used as learning tool.
The robotic cell for car headlight assembly simulation
Hampl, Lukáš ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This master´s thesis describes the design and realization of the simulation in program Tecnomatix Process Simulate. The thesis deals with the creation of a simulated assembly line of gluing a protective glass to the headlight. For this operation is using four stationary robotic arms. Created simulation behaves like a real robotic assembly line. In simulation is implemented several input sensors, robotic operations and conveyer structure. The control is done with PLC programmed, designed in TIA portal 14. Thesis includes a detailed description of the design whole simulation, together with the Tecnomatix Process Simulate environment. This software offer a many external commissioning and three bigger were tested, two kinds of OPC servers and PLCSIM Advanced. The conclusion of the diploma thesis describes the way of simulation control with visualization of whole process cell.
Metodologie: analýza Eurostatu a European Innovation Scoreboard.
With an increasing globalization and cross-border trade the international logistics services started to play one of the key roles in the whole business chain. The Industry 4.0 brings new possibilities for companies to update the supply chain activities by implementing new technologies and systems. The aim of this work is to show the real impact on supply chain activity from implementing the new industrial revolution features, like Internet of things, Cyber-physical system, augmented and virtual reality, autonomous robots and cloud computing. With a help of three companies, Bosch, DHL and PwC the work will analyses the changes in supply chain procedures and various systematic digitalization of activities within the whole industry. Firstly, the theoretical part describes the logistics and supply chain scope of activity and the impact on business of companies among the international trade. Secondly, the Industry 4.0 creation and description will be providing in order to have a better understanding about this revolution. Third, analyzing the three-mentioned companies activity we will focus on real implementation of technological features into the supply chain processes. The analysis is conducted based on secondary data.
The Importance of the Electronics Industry for Taiwanese Economy
Ďurovcová, Soňa ; Vlčková, Jana (advisor)
This diploma thesis explores the importance of the electronics industry for the Taiwanese economy. Its aim is to evaluate the current position of the Taiwanese electronics industry in the domestic and world economy and to outline its potential development. The methods of analysis and synthesis are used to determine the key elements that lead to the development of the economy and the industry. Use of the Internet of Things in Supply Chain Management
Prokopová, Iva ; Basl, Josef (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with the description of possibilities of using the Internet of Things in supply chain management and explores the use of the Internet of Things in the supply chain management among Czech companies. The theoretical part deals with the possibilities of using the Internet of Tings in the supply chain management as well as the developing standards and technologies, which make it possible to use these possibilities. The theoretical part further includes the challenges and risks of the Internet of Things that need to be dealt with when implementing it and the further anticipated development in this area. A survey based on the findings of the theoretical part of the thesis revealed the awareness of Czech businesses about the Internet of Things and how they plan to use it. The practical part of the thesis contains the evaluation of the hypotheses formulated on the basis of the results of this survey and discussion of the facts.
Industry 4.0 in a selected cluster
Hykyšová, Zuzana ; Martínez, Felipe (advisor) ; Kubicova, Tereza (referee)
This diploma thesis focuses on industry clusters and their relation to industry 4.0. The aim is to propose improvements of a selected cluster with prerequisites for transition to industry 4.0. For this purpose, a cluster maturity model will be developed in order to determine the current level of cluster readiness for industry 4.0 in predefined dimensions. This model will be based on an analysis of current maturity models and specific features and clusters´s restrictions. An analysis of the OMNIPACK cluster and the subsequent application of the maturity model to this cluster will be also part of the work. The benefit of this diploma thesis will be wider application of the defined maturity model in Czech cluster organizations.
