Competitive Intelligence: A competitive environment analysis of PolyPLASTY s.r.o

The goal of the presented work Competitive Intelligence: A competitive environment analysis of PolyPLASTY s.r.o. Company is to outline theoretical principals that are used for competitive environment analyses, to analyze the competitive environment of a company named PolyPLASTY s.r.o. and to design ontology for analysis of corporate competitive environment by using Topic Maps technology. A common contribution I would like to achieve by writing this paper is firstly to produce the competitive environment analysis for PolyPLASTY s.r.o. and to outline theoretical principles possible. Besides that, an annotated document and knowledge base essentials have been created. The knowledge base might me used for building a knowledge portal to monitor the competitive environment of PolyPLASTY Company systematically. This paper has been produced thanks to information gathered on an interview with Ing.Vlček and many other information resources. Seminar papers written by students of the University of Economics in Prague concerning competitive intelligence analysis for companies from Omni pack Cluster based on Porter's Five Forces method has been used a lot. The analysis has been produced as a structured document annotated by Topic Maps technology (in the structure used at the University of Economics) as well. The document also represents a knowledge base which can be used to build a knowledge portal for systematic monitoring of competitive environment of PolyPLASTY Company. The paper consists of two parts. The first one begins with Competitive Intelligence introduction. A plenty of theoretical principles that can be used for competitive intelligence analysis follow. Methods "Porter's five Forces Analysis" and STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Ecological and Political aspects) have been brought closer. At the end of the theoretical part the concept of Topic Maps have been described. The second part is concerned with application of mentioned methods in conditions of PolyPLASTY Company from Omni pack Cluster. The application part continues with a manager output describing acquired analysis results shortly. A description of created knowledge base concludes the second part. The annotated document as well as the knowledge base can be found on enclosed CD.

Needs Analysis in the locality of Prague 21. Development potentialities for civic association "Neposeda"

Cílem práce je zmapovat aktuální stav v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21 nejen z hlediska situace v sociálních službách, ale i řady dalších ukazatelů, poskytnout všeobecný přehled a na základě výsledků navrhnout opatření. Práce vyjasňuje, jakým směrem (v souladu s posláním a cíli sdružení) je možné rozvíjet aktivity občanského sdružení Neposeda a rozšířit stávající nabídku, eventuálně vyplnit chybějící typy služeb. Zpracovaný materiál bude využitelný nejen jmenovaným sdružením, ale i širší veřejností. Pro zpracování dat byla zvolena metoda diagnózy komunity vytvořená CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování. Ze závěrů této práce bude možné konstruovat nový program. Úvodní část práce popisuje historii občanského sdružení Neposeda, následuje podrobný výčet jeho současných aktivit a návrh aktivit plánovaných na základě dosavadních zkušeností. Druhá kapitola zahrnuje teoretický výklad pojmů komunita a komunitní plánování, prakticky ukotvený popisem reálné pozice o.s. Neposeda v lokalitě správního obvodu Praha 21. Závěrečná část obsahuje data vztahující se k lokalitě Praha 21 získaná metodou diagnózy komunity vytvořenou CPSI (Iniciativa na podporu partnerství v komunitách) pro potřeby komunitního plánování - profily dle jednotlivých oblastí včetně syntézy diagnózy...

Advertising Campaign for Sport Event

Název Reklamní kampaň na sportovní akci Název v angličtině Advertising campaign for sport action Cíle práce Vytvoření návrhu reklamní kampaně pro vymyšlenou sportovní akci. Popsat a definovat sportovní akci, jež je předmětem reklamní kampaně. Navrhnout časový harmonogram použití jednotlivých médií, zjistit cenu konkrétních médií a navrhnout možnou podobu reklamních sdělení. Analyzovat reklamní kampaň na sportovní akci která již proběhla. Metoda V práci byla využita popisná analýza při zpracování reklamní kampaně na část PlM Běžeckého seriálu 2005. Dále bylo použito strukturovaných a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů při získávání informací o pořádání sportovní akce v prostorách Sazka Areny s pracovníky Best Sport, a. s. Rovněž byla využita SWOT analýza v závěru práce k hodnocení projektu. Výsledky Vytvoření reklamní kampaně pro vymyšlenou sportovní akci opírající se o čtyři hlavní média, a to včetně časového harmonogramu akce, rozpočtu a návrhu na reklamní sdělení v jednotlivých médiích. Metoda: Analýza byla vytvořena na základě podrobného rozboru výstupních měřitelných dat ukazujících na úspěšnost jednotlivých kampaní a nástrojů marketingové komunikace; současně byla využita SWOT analýza. The budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities

The main target of this dissertation is to analyse the impact of legislative changes to the budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities in last years with a focus on the reform of January 2013 for different types of municipalities according to their population. One of this thesis objectives is also to suggest recommendations for the future budgetary allocation of taxes on the basis of this analysis. Theoretical part defines basic concepts in the area of municipalities income and looks into the theory of fiscal federalism.The second chapter of the theoretical part concerns itself with the detailed analysis of the development of the budgetary allocation of taxes until 2013. The practical part is constituted by the prediction of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and is followed by an analysis of shared taxes in selected municipalities of South Bohemian Region and their development. On the basis of this analysis, the impacts in selected municipalities are analysed and possible recommendations are specified for the future development of the budgetary allocation of taxes.

Analysis of Attendance in Czech Ice Hockey Extraliga

The aim of this Master's thesis is to find, describe and analyse factors influencing the audience demand for Czech ice hockey extraliga matches and on the basis of the observed facts to try to suggest conceivable measures to increase such demand. There are especially mathematical and statistical methods widely applied in the practical part of the thesis. Particularly, arithmetic averages, correlation analyses and various kinds of specific coefficients are used. Average attendances and significance of individual factors are evaluated using the method of comparison, namely its factual, temporal as well as spatial form. The main contribution of this thesis consists mainly in the current mapping of the extraleague club fans' opinions and attitudes through the implementation of the comprehensive on-line survey whose results are contained in individual paragraphs.

Financing office and its budget

The aim of this thesis is based on theoretical and practical bases to analyze the management of the municipal office in Říčany in 2011-2014 and based on the analysis to propose measures that will improve the management of the municipality. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part deals mainly with the characteristics of management municipality. This section also lists financial analysis methods that are used in the public sector. The analytical part describes the selected community. This section mainly assesses the municipal economy in 2011-2014. There are analyzed various income and expenses in those years. Revenues and expenditures are also evaluated in terms of comparability. On the basis of financial analysis are also calculated ratios. In the end, there is an assessment of municipal management.

Motivation as a tool of performance management

The aim of the dissertation called Motivation as a tool of performance management is to analyze the present condition of the motivation system in the company Ahold and eventually base on recognized imperfections to suggest and help increase employee performance. The dissertation is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part leader and manager, motivation, sources of motivation, theories of motivation and achievement motivation are defined. Further attention is devoted to direction and evaluation of work performance. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which contains company characteristics, analysis of the current motivation system, where empirical research investigates motivation and her impact on satisfaction and performance employee. At the end of the dissertation there are stated and proposed recommended changes, which should contribute to better performance and motivation of the employee.

Business processes analysis and optimization proposal for procurement department of bank institution

This work is focused on the business processes analysis and subsequent optimization of procurement department of bank institution. The main objective is to analyze actual state of processes and propose a solution that would lead to their optimization and more effective work of department. The first part of this bachelors thesis is theoretical. I deal with the matter of process modeling and used methodology. In the second part, I describe the bank institution in general and focus on the procurement department in more detail - I describe job content, organizational structure and used software. Next part is about business processes of department - their analysis and subsequent evaluation. In conclusion, there is improvement proposal for processes.

The effectiveness of communication tools in response to employee satisfaction survey

The work is concerned with the effective communication tools in a selected company. The aim is to describe the various means of communication, analyze their effectiveness and propose solutions for problematic means of communication. The object of the work is a medium sized company operating in the field of logistics. In this thesis methods of survey research, analysis of internal documentation and observation are used. In conclusion, the thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of communication in relation to employee satisfaction survey and recommended some improvements for more efficient use of communication devices in the selected company.
