New interactive software for seismic data processing
Doubravová, Jana ; Horálek, Josef
Seismon is an open source software package under GNU General Public Li- cense developed by Stefan Mertl (TU Wien). It is designed as a modular pro- gram with de ned interface for speci c types of modules. This gives program- mer rules how to add new tools easily without disturbing the program integrity. Seismon is written in MATLAB and all input and output data are stored in MySQL database which can be accessed by more Seismon users simultaneously. Seismon is initially equipped with tools for communication with the database, various waveform le conversions, and basic tools for data analysis and visual- ization. To use this software for routine processing of data from local seismic network in West Bohemia (WEBNET), some adaptations had to be done, and the modi ed program was called Seismon_WB. There had to be put a great emphasis on user friendliness which required to de ne keyboard shortcuts, add status bars directly displaying current possibilities and properties, or extract the most important functions out of structured menus to main window as GUI components.

Space Virtualization in the course of internet sales apartments
Farlík, Jan ; Hubík, Stanislav (advisor) ; Mucha, Ivan (referee)
This master's thesis is concerned with space virtualization in relation to internet apartment sales as represented by the developer company Finep CZ a.s. . Through an analysis of works of the representatives of the philosophy of media it aims to describe the unequal character of the interaction between the web designers and the web users, when the first one, designing virtual spaces, structures the experience of the second, as the designed virtual spaces embody assumed images of what the potentional clients would like rather than the "real" space.

Virtual playground
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Pelikán, Josef (referee) ; Vlčková, Zuzana (advisor)
Present document describes algorithms used in program Virtual playground. This program was designed to simulate movement and interaction of perfectly rigid bodies in real environment with gravity. It had to be optimised to be able to simulate tens of bodies on contemporary PCs in real-time. It was in fact also to the prejudice of physical precision but I think that the result is physically plausible. There is also vehicle simulation added to the program. I will try to introduce difficulties I had during programming and I will do a comparsion with other algorithms that are used to solve similar kind of problems. In the end, I will describe program structure and provide user guide for the program.

Interactive Data Visualization Tool
Fabian, Peter ; Babka, Vlastimil (referee) ; Parízek, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of the work was to design and implement a tool, which would allow the users to work with a graphical representation of statistic data easily in an interactive manner. The IVP tool supports both the basic adjustments of graphs and advanced modifications, which are either very hard or impossible to achieve in similar tools. However, the key feature of the tool is its extensibility. The particular graph types and the interactive features are implemented as plug-ins and their functionality is provided to the tool's core. The thesis also presents a description of the IVP tool's implementation details, user documentation, an overview of the existing graphing software and its comparison to the IVP tool.

Dispersion and detection of signal electrons in environmental SEM
Romanovský, V. ; Neděla, Vilém ; Hutař, O.
The environmental scanning microscope is based on convenient adaptation of classical SEM employing the focused primary electron beam. For the proper function of the electron gun the pressure in this part of the microscopemust be less than 10.sup.-3./sup. Pa. The working pressure in the specimen chamber in environmental microscope reaches the order of hundreds of Pa.Therefore, the effective vacuum separation of these two parts is necessary. This can be obtained by the use of two or more apertures limiting the gas flow. It is also necessary to evacuate the space between the apertures by a vacuum pump of a high pumping speed. The increasing of pressure in the specimen chamber brings some difficulties, especially the dispersion of signal electrons by the influence of interaction with the gaseous environment.

Hydrides of uranium intermetallics
Mašková, Silvie ; Havela, Ladislav (advisor) ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee)
We have been studying variations of magnetic properties as a function of hydrogen concentration for large families of UTX compounds, which prove that doping of U intermetallics by interstitial hydrogen leads to stronger magnetic properties. On the other hand, any dilution of uranium sublattice by a non-magnetic element leads to the suppression of magnetism. This was demonstrated e.g. on the case of U1-xThxCoSn, in which the long-range ferromagnetism vanishes at approx. 60% Th, preserving the same hexagonal structure (ZrNiAl type, space group P62m ) through the whole concentration range. It is intriguing to investigate whether the interaction with H is changed when replacing Th for U, and whether magnetic properties are affected by the H doping in the analogous way as in pure UCoSn, in which it leads to the increase of TC from 82 K to 102 K for UCoSnH1.4. Here we report on the changes of crystal structure and magnetic properties due to hydrogenation of U1-xThxCoSn (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1).

Application of dashboards in the area of support of IT management
Sakař, Václav ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Šedivá, Zuzana (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of IT management in the companies, which is described in the MBI (Management of Business Informatics) model, at all levels of IT management in the way how they are defined and used by MBI. The main goal of this diploma thesis is design and create (new/modified) content in the area of IT management in the MBI model for broader usage of this model in the company sphere. The main goal is fulfilled by fulfilling of two sub-goals. Firstly, it is designing and creating new metrics, dimensions and applications or modification (extension) of already existing content in MBI model. Secondly, it is implementation of new or (selected) modified content with Microsoft PowerPivot into the form of interactive applications and then into the dashboards composed from them. The structure of this diploma thesis is adjusted to make those sub-goals achievable. The structure is divided into theoretical and practical section containing together six main parts. Firstly, the two most widely used methodologies of IT management and mainly MBI model are described. Then the definitions of metric (as a main instrument, which is used in IT management) and its attributes are described. Following section contains definition of dashboards and basic description about their designing and creating. In the last part of the theoretical section are described metrics, dimensions, applications and their connections in the MBI model. First part of practical section is about designing and creating of new metrics, dimensions and applications or modifying of already existing content. The last part of this thesis contains implementation of a new or (selected) modified content into applications or dashboards. Main benefit of this diploma thesis is enrichment of existing content in the MBI model in IT management (specifically in the metrics, the dimensions, the applications and the dashboards based on those three things), which improved usability of the MBI in practical usage. Thanks to this extended content, the users or mainly the management employees can react in better way on the potential problems, have better overview about level of quality of the IT resources, can manage the employees in better way and can coordinate quality and quantity of the IT outputs in better way in general.

Phenomenon Body modification: The sociological interpretation.
Kolářová, Sára ; Paulíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kotík, Michal (referee)
The thesis is focused on the research of subjects who are specifically standing out due to their different visual appearance thanks to extreme Body modifications that they have done on their bodies. It explores whether they are just independent individuals with no subcultural relations or whether they belong to a certain closed social group that stands on common values which are manifested through modifications. The theoretical part deals with frameworks that could more precisely define their interaction. The author seeksout for subcultural signs because recent Body modification literature suggest that these individuals might be members of a group called Modern primitives, which meets all the characteristics necessary for the existence of a subculture. However on the basis of primarily semi-structured interviews author dicovers that these people do not fit their beliefs into such a framework and their interactions and shared values are not extensive. The results of the work thus points to the fact that individuals with Body modification can be consistently assigned to one of shared social identities that helps them find themselves. If there is a binding element between them at a higher level, it's the so-called suspension, in other words: being hanged on hooks, where their interaction is necessary.

Bio-Solar Houses as part of nature – garden or landscape
Janourková, Tereza ; Kunt, Miroslav (advisor) ; Filip, Filip (referee)
Content of diploma project is primarily theme of natural buildings. It is complex subject of materials, technologies, environmental conditions and most of all integration into the landscape knowledges. Manmade living spaces that respect the laws of nature and friendly approach to the environment, maybe so called as Bio Houses. Surname Bio Solar Houses are named those with maximal use of solar energy. Part of this project is overview of various types of natural buildings, possibilities of using natural materials and approaches to the use of solar power. Own design presents study of the family earth house and garden project of a plot. For project was selected building side in a calm location of Prague Troja. This sloping plot is oriented at South so it gives the best conditions for this building concept. The house benefits from all positives of the earth buildings. Mainly perfect thermal insulation and acoustics properties, which are connected with saving energy. There is moreover interior accumulative wall, which increases heat gains during the winter season. Ventilation system, heating and cooling use vertical ground heat pump and ground heat exchanger. Hot water is prepared by Solar panels with support of photovoltaic system. Rain water is collected for further use. Garden reflects the character of family house, natural conditions of the place and the purpose of use. It is designed for relaxation, active leisure time and for utility. Important role plays a psychological effect coming from choice of elements, especially small garden architecture, materials, tree planting, perennials and interactions of overall composition. The plot has complex design with use of natural environmental properties to create space for living. According to the laws of nature garden never serves only for humans, it is also home for many representatives of small animals and vegetation.
