Mam-Machina-Systems and their Reliability

The point of this work is to describe and analyse human and technical reliability inside a man-vehicle system. The reliability of whole system is given by partial reliabilities of technical sub-systems and reliability of a man like a human operator. Human operator influences security and reliability of whole system by his activity and servicing of equipment. It is necessary to monitor and evaluate this activity in the analysis of security of technical systems. By the evaluation of human reliability people come out of the whole probability analysis of security. Inside the man-vehicle system the vehicle is operated by the driver and therefore influence of human operator is totally fundamental for the total reliability of this system. Graphic fault tree model shows different combinations of equipment failures and people failures which can lead to the accident.

Corporate social responsibility and child labor

Nowadays it is increasingly mentioned concept of corporate social responsibility. This concept, however, can not completely ensure to respect human rights and to not use child labor in the context of business activities. There are cases of companies claiming to be socially responsible, which are also affected by human rights violations and abuse of child labor. The primary objective of this bachelor's thesis is to discover and analyze the possible causes of the use of child workers by socially responsible companies . Furthermore , this work aims to answer the question why companies use child labor and where is the major problem of socially responsible companies. Another aim is to conclude if the concept of corporate social responsibility is effective and can eliminate the exploitation of child labor . The work is divided into four chapters on theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part defines the concept of corporate social responsibility and describes documents dealing with social responsibility by internationally respected institution. The work also defines child labor and describes its incidence in the world and in economic sectors. The empirical part analyzes the causes of the abuse of child labor by the demand for child labor and weaknesses of CSR leading to the exploitation of child labor. In the next part of the work there is examined incidence and causes of child labor abuse at Apple, which has implemented into its running supplier responsibility.

Management of Human Resources focused on Teamwork

The Bachelor's thesis deals with issues of human resources management in general and focuses on teamwork. Closer attention is paid to goals and basic principles of human resources management, characteristics of teamwork, team efficiency and team roles. The aim of the thesis is the analysis of a work team in a limited company MalenaLak, s. r. o. Questionnaires were used as a quantitative data collection instrument. Applying this method team roles of individual team members and missing roles were ascertained. The thesis is concluded with suggestions leading to teamwork optimization.

EU relationship with the European Convention on Human Rights

This thesis deals with the accession of the European Union to the European Convention on Human Rights. This accession is being prepared for several decades, and in 2013 finally got to the stage where a draft of the accession agreement was already finished. Now the European Court of Justice delivered his opinion on this draft. The first part of the text is about protection of human rights in Europe, the second part deals with the Court's opinion no. 2/94 dated 28 March 1996 and the following section deals with the changes introduced by the Lisbon Treaty. The fourth part contains an analysis of the current state of the negotiations and the final fifth part of the thesis deals with the relationship of the Court of Justice to the European Court of Human Rights.

Impact of Active employment policy in Středočeský Region

This thesis deals with unemployment in the Středočeský Region and then it deals with the local labor market. It focuses on active employment policy and its impact on human resources in the region. The aim of this thesis is evaluate the success of programs aimed at the active employment policy and assess its impact not only in the whole region but also on micro-regions and districts. In conclusion it is formulated recommendations for the future. In the theoretical part of the thesis is define the term unemployment and described ways of its measurement and analysis. It describes the historical development of unemployment at the national level since 1993 and also briefly describes the state employment policy. In the practical part of the work is focused on the Středočeský region, socio-economic ana-lysis and its position in the Czech Republic. It defines the specifics of the region, peculiari-ties of the regional labor market factors and the specific structure of human resources. At the end of the work are analyzed various programs to promote active employment and draw their impact on the labor market and the situation in the region, together with recom-mendations.

Human Resource Controlling

The thesis characterizes controlling as a tool for measuring processes effectiveness. It explains main drivers and key assumptions of the controlling existence. It is focused on controlling possibilities to be applicable in human resource management. Moreover, it names particular human resource practices and describes methods of the human resource controlling. The objective is to find the appropriate methods of evaluating human resource management effectiveness. Key Plastics Janovice is chosen as a company that already deals with the HR controlling at some level. In the thesis, there is looking for possibilities to apply the HR controlling and to keep current processes at the same time. The model of HR Balanced Score Card is proposed as a general tool for evaluating the effectiveness of employed human resources by the company.

The prevention of pathological occurence of burnout syndrome (an example of employer)

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of burnout syndrome which is currently a very discuss frequent problem. The rate of working stress will be investigated in selected groups of staff in company COOP družstvo HB. The purpose of my thesis is to compare which group of staff is threatened by burnout syndrome the most. The work is focused on the economical aspects which are reflected particularly in human capital. There will be applied the quantitative research, concretely questionaire research. Based on the results of questionaire research will be applied analytical method of the job evaluation, which is one of the main issues of human resources management. This application will be also recommendation for prevention for the company.

Evaluation of Nurses in the Most Town Hospital

The Master thesis deals with evaluation of staff, an inseparable part of the process of management of human resources. The thesis includes both theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part provides explanation of the importance of human resources for the relevant organisation elaborates on modern conception of management of human resources and identifies the process of management of work performance, which is an important part of management of human resources. The thesis focuses in greater detail on evaluation proper of the staff. After defining the term, significance is described of evaluation of staff for the relevant organisation. Conditions for effective evaluation are also referred to. The thesis then deals with evaluation itself of the staff; i.e. with manners and frequencies of evaluation, topics of evaluation, methods and the course of the evaluation process. References to the basic legislative framework associated with this area are inseparable parts of the thesis. The last chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the process of implementation of the new system, when the general change management is elaborated on as well as the peculiars of launching the evaluation system. The goal ot the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of the use of the role of HR manager as HR business partner in terms of selected multinational banking company based in Prague; to compare the role of HR manager and HR business partner; to bring examples of best practice, and to propose solutions to identified deficiencies. The theoretical part defines the concept of human resource management, human resource management activities, organizational integration and organization of the human resources department, the role of HR manager and HR business partner. The practical part summarizes examples of best practice and influence of HR business partners in the Czech Republic. It also analyzes the role of HR manager as HR business partner in the selected company. The bachelor's thesis is prepared by using literature, Internet resources, internal documents and interview with HR business partner.
