Práce se zabývá přistoupením Evropské Unie k Evropské úmluvě o ochraně lidských práv a základních svobod. Toto přistoupení je připravováno již několik desítek let a v roce 2013 konečně došlo do stádia, kdy již byl hotový návrh dohody o přistoupení. Nyní Soudní dvůr Evropské unie vydal na tento návrh svůj posudek. V první části práce přibližuji ochranu lidských práv v Evropě, druhá část se věnuje posudku Soudního dvora č. 2/94 ze dne 28. března 1996 a následující část se zabývá změnami zavedenými Lisabonskou smlouvou. Ve čtvrté části je rozebrán aktuální stav přístupových jednání a poslední pátá část práce doplňuje vztah Soudního dvora k Evropskému soudu pro lidská práva. This thesis deals with the accession of the European Union to the European Convention on Human Rights. This accession is being prepared for several decades, and in 2013 finally got to the stage where a draft of the accession agreement was already finished. Now the European Court of Justice delivered his opinion on this draft. The first part of the text is about protection of human rights in Europe, the second part deals with the Court's opinion no. 2/94 dated 28 March 1996 and the following section deals with the changes introduced by the Lisbon Treaty. The fourth part contains an analysis of the current state of the negotiations and the final fifth part of the thesis deals with the relationship of the Court of Justice to the European Court of Human Rights.
