Financial Analysis of Selected Nonprofit Organization

The aim of bachelor thesis is a financial analysis of the biggest non-profit organization in the Czech Republic People in Need and to evaluate its current situation of financial activities on the basis of data from balance sheet and profit and loss statements in years 2008 - 2012. In the first chapter there non-profit sector in the society is described, firstly from the historical context and secondly from the perspective of goals and purposes. Indicators, which are necessary for implementation of financial analysis in the practical part are defined in the second chapter. In the practical third chapter the concrete non-profit organization People in need is described and there the outcomes from horizontal and vertical analysis are evaluated. In the last fourth chapter the financial health of organization is evaluated by means of proportional indicators autarky, profitability, liquidity, activity and indicators of financial independence.

Financial analysis of the company Moser, a. s.

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the glass manufacturing company Moser, a. s. for the period 2012 to 2015. The information is taken from publicly available data published by the Ministry of Justice. The thesis is divided into two parts, methodical and practical. Firstly, the methodical part is introduced. At the beginning, it describes the essence, sources, methods and the techniques of financial analysis. Then, attention is paid to horizontal and vertical analysis as well as differential and financial ratios. At the end of the methodical part, we are introduced to credit scoring and bankruptcy models and are given a validation of the prediction of financial stringency. The practical part deals with the presentation of the analyzed company and, consequently, its financial analysis. Calculated values of indicators are compared with competitive industries. At the end of the bachelor thesis, there is an evaluation of the financial health of the company.

Financial analysis and prognosis of future development of COUNTRY LIFE, s. r. o.

The aim of this thesis is to perform a comprehensive financial analysis of COUNTRY LIFE, s. r. o. for the period 2010-2014, followed by a view of the forecast of the company's future development. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. The first part is the methodological one which delimits the methods and techniques, which will be used to perform financial analysis. The second part includes financial analysis itself with the intercompany comparison and the comparison across the sector, in addition, the financial health of the company was verified. The third part is the highlight of this work, which is dedicated to the short-term financial plan for the years 2015 and 2016. The plan is based on the information acquired from the financial analysis, supplemented with strategic analysis.

Analytical part is an introduction of sampled company and subsequent analysis by selected indicators, through which we can see real situation in the company. The result of the issue is an evaluation and following proposals for improving the situation identified in company.

The bachelor thesis is concerned with evaluating the financial situation of the company Conec s.r.o. between 2009 and 2013. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the recent situation of the company by using most suitable methods and to elaborate proposals for its improvement. The first part of this work is devoted to theoretical knowledge, on the basis of which the practical part will be created. The second part consists of detailed information about the company, characterization of its situation with the analysis of the external surroundings. Third part of the work evaluates the financial situation of the company and in the conclusion recommendations will be proposed to improve the current financial situation of the company.

For these purposes the analysis of current situation and historical trend is made by methods of financial analysis. Next part attends to SWOT analysis of the company. The final section is based on founded conclusion and contains definition of current situation, evaluation of potential risks and suggestions for improvement.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation in the KPS Metal a. s. company during the period of years 2009 to 2013 by using methods of financial analysis and it is divided into three main parts, which are theoretical, analytical and practical. The thesis at first determines the theoretical bases and further in reveals problematic areas of company by using selected absolute, differential and rate indicators as well as predictive models. Subsequently based on this anylysis defines ideas to improve current financial situation.

The bachelor´s thesis on „The assessment of a financial situation of a company and suggestions for its improvement“ deals with a financial analysis. The theoretical part is focused on selected indicators of a financial analysis by which the financial situation of a firm STEELMONT CZ s. r. o. is assessed in its practical part. A comparison of the rating company with rival companies is also a part of this work. On the basis of results of the analysis there are recommendations which lead to an improvement of a financial situation of the company.
