Using the infrared camera in the measuring technique
Bayer, Robert ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with contactless methods of measuring a temperature and give the reader an idea of it. Next goal is to master the working with IR visual display terminal FLUKE Ti55FT (and program equipment SmartView) a describe it to the reader too. Last goal is to translate the booklet "Introdution to Thermography Principles", published by FLUKE company, which will be enclosed in electronic form to the thesis in the appendix.
Microprocessor Controlled Measurement and Control Temperature
Vožda, Michal ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the project is a design of the temperature controler based on microprocessor. There are described the most widely used sensors for the temperature measuring and their involvement in the electric circuit. The temperature controler is based on the Peltier’s thermoelectric battery. Project desribes power control of this thermoelectric battery and also a design of the entire system and a description of the blocks takes a part.
Data acquisition modules
Štreit, Zdeněk ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s study focuses on design, realization and practical measurement of galvanic isolation temperature transmitter’s accuracy for the Pt 100 platinum resistance temperature detector. The beginning of the study describes the kinds of sensors for resistance temperature measurement, their division and charecteristics, whereby the stress is put on platinum resistance temperature detectors. The other part of this bachelor’s study depicts methods of connecting the platinum detector to a measuring circuit and evaluation of such a signal. It contains options of further processing of the measured signal using either various connections of operating amplifiers or specialised circuits. Issues with evaluation of the platinum detector’s signals as compensation of an input conductors‘ resistance and linearization of a platinum detector‘s course are solved. The following chapter introduces causes of galvanic isolation in a measurement chain and its principle. Electronic components and circuits that ensure the galvanic isolation are also discussed. The final part the this bachelor’s study is devoted to my practical proposal of a circuit solution for the platinum detector’s with galvanic isolation transmitter. It describes my proposed design of the transmitter’s input part, possibility of the Pt 100 detector’s linearization and galvanic isolation using a linear optocoupler. The transmitter was measured at several surrounding temperatures and the results were processed into tables and charts that are presented in an appendix to this study. This bachelor’s study goal was met as I have managed to produce the temperature transmitter according to the request. The worsened accuracy of the output voltage at temperatures lower or higher than +20°C can be eliminated by using resistors with lower temperature coefficient in a measurement bridge.
Remote data acquisition with the help of GSM modems based on Open AT platform
Otoupalík, Pavel ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with remote data acquisition with the assistance of GSM modems based on Open AT platform. The result of thesis is the realized module which servers as a converter temperature to frequency. This module is connected with Wavecom Fastrack M1306B programmable GSM/GPRS modem. They are intended for temperature measurement from 0 to 40 °C together. With the assistance Open AT platform and C programming language were created two applications. The first application sends data as temperature, date and time on remote FTP server via GSM network as GPRS data. The results of measurement are displayed on website in form of the table and graph. The second application sends a temperature measurement data via SMS message as reply to SMS message.
Comparison of sensors for temperature measurement
Chaloupka, Roman ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with temperature sensors. Basic terms are defined at the beginning of work. The following are distribution, description of construction and principle of touch sensors with electrical output. Other touch sensors are marginally described. Further is described principle of pyrometry and contactless sensors. In conclusion, work contains practical example of contactless temperature measurement.
Network for temperature measurement and data processing
Gociek, Krzysztof ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
Object of this work is creat universal wireless network for temperature measurement. Network consists from measuring modules which can measure outside temperature and inside temperature also. Modules send data to central modul by radio. In cetral module data are temporarily saveing and sanding to PC by USB cable. On PC we can generate temperature graphs. All network is easy and lowcost.
Microcontroller based temperature controller
Perůtka, Martin ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design and carry out a microprocessor driven temperature controller which will be operated by PC or immediately by its own control panel. The controller should serve, for example, as a regulation of temperatures in rooms, in ovens where electrical energy is used for heat production. This controller is able to measure temperature through connected temperature sensors, which means a thermistor PT1000 and a thermocouple type K, and to regulate temperature by the help of a heating body connected to the power output part of the controller. In this piece of work there is an issue of temperature measuring by the help of thermocouples and thermistors analysed, there are also mentioned the means of controlling and switching of alternating electrical tension for power operating and analysis of an issue of device connection and communication by the help of RS232 interface and USB with PC. The work also deals with a design of PSD controller with its subsequent realisation. The controller is tested on a micro-condensational siccative oven developed for the UTB research in Zlín.
Temperature measurement using the pyrometers
Holík, Denis ; Kaňa, Václav (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis is pursuing research and analysis of information about function principles of pyrometers. Complex problematic of particular types of pyrometers and options of practical use is analysed. Basic errors of contactless temperature measurement are also included. Parameters of particular types of pyrometers are processed in the form of a table.
