Mobile application for victims of bullying

This thesis aims to define the concept of bullying, its division, participants, consequences and possible solutions or prevention. It also provides a summary of the concept of bullying from a legal perspective. All this is important for understanding the insidiousness of bullying and the reason for creating this thesis. Furthermore, the general Android application development, architecture, mobile application development environment, tools, and basic steps are discussed. A graphical concept of the actual app design is shown and the implementation of the app in the Android Studio environment is described. Finally, user tests are processed and analysed.

Exercises and problems in linear algebra

The aim of this thesis is to create a collection of solved examples and problems of linear algebra, which could serve as a learning tool for the first-year students of the Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The most important part of this thesis is the electronic processing of the collection in a program GeoGebra and its visual interpretation of examples and problems by 3D pictures, QR codes and hyperlinks that specify the solutions.

First, it shows the analysis of keywords based on biblical commentaries, vocabulary, and exegesis, taking into account basic psychological aspects. It also discusses the exegesis of selected parts that describe life trials, where at the end of each chapter it is summarized what can be seen as a life test. 1962: The world on the brink of disaster

Bachelor thesis "1962: The world on the brink of disaster" discusses several days at the end of October 1962 - the Caribbean crisis. Caribbean crisis has become one of the worst crises of the Cold War and during the crisis world was really on the verge of outbreak of nuclear war. The work focuses on addressing this crisis, from the American side. U.S. representatives were at this time dilemma - how to achieve that the missiles were withdrawn from Cuba while also maintaining peace? They had many options. And about how these options they are interested. I'm trying to break down the process of thinking, consider how risk what options were and what conclusions they reached. Why they chose a blockade of the island? What were other suggestions? These are questions with which they deal, and we're trying to find an answer. The possibilities were many and included a direct military attack on the island. The blockade of the island, however, represents the least risk of conflict with the Soviet Union.

Bullying in the lower grades of Elementary school

The thesis deals with the issue of bullying at the primary level of the elementary schools from the point of view of the experienced teachers that have encountered this kind of situations in their practice. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part brings latest news from the foreign and local bibliography. It describes causes, forms, participants of bullying, and there is a comparison of different kinds of solutions. Last but not least it proposes a wide range of preventive methods. The practical part is based on case studies of the interventions of bullying in the primary school which are realized through semi-structured interviews with five teachers from different countries with different backgrounds who dealt with bullying in their practise. The results present different techniques which involved people in the intervention use to efectively solve the cases and on the other hand what slows the proces of healing down and how to overcome these obstacles. Which steps were done in the classroom and which methods of prevention teachers use. This paper includes a discussion about the difference of dealing with bullying in Czech and foreign schools. Solving of Group Conflicts in Kindergarten (from the point of view headmisresses and headmasters of the Central Bohemian Region kindergartens)

This dissertation inquires into the issue of solving group conflicts in kindergartens, presents opinions, quotations and comparison of Czech and foreign authors, derives from both local and foreign sources. In the theoretical part it brings forth findings from the stated area, defines the term "conflict", delineates the basic types of conflicts, deals with group conflicts in the context of the influence of an individual on the inception of a conflict. In the second half of the theoretical part it focuses on the settlement and prevention of conflicts. The research, coming from the goal of the inquiry, is directed in the same spirit. The research part presents the results of the inquiry, describing and analysing the causes and solutions of group conflicts in practice. The evaluation then leads to answering the research questions. The work is designed so the broadest range of headmasters and administrators of kindergartens could make use of it.

The bachelor paper "Social analysis of the indebted citizens in Prague 3" focuses on the issues of indebtedness, respectively overindebtedness, it's causes and consequences for single person, or the whole population. The essay tries to answer the question about the origin of overindebtedness, options of it's solution and prevention. The theoretical part deals with the issues by historical aspect and the law aspect too, mainly is focused to the execution of the decision carried out by sale of movable things, and advise for individuals. The research part works with the question, which segments of population the indebtedness concerns at most, by the aspect of gender, age, employment, nationality and education, focused for Prague 3.

The European Union and the unrecognized states in Georgia

This thesis considers the role of the European Union in dealing with the problem of unrecognized states on the territory of Georgia. The aim of the thesis is to find out which tools the EU employs in solving this problem. Unrecognized states are rejected as partners of the international community, thus they lack the basis for entering international relations, the external sovereignty. Nevertheless, this doesn't prevent them from functioning internally and offering their citizens functions similar to ordinary sovereign states. Since the unrecognized states in Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, are considered parts of Georgia, this thesis will also examine how the EU employs its tools in Georgia and in the unrecognized entities and the influence of the non-recognition of these states on the engagement of the EU in them. Abkhazia and South Ossetia were created shortly after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the following ethnopolitical conflicts in the South Caucasus. Since then, the unrecognized states have developed and built a national identity which is opposed to the former central state, Georgia. Culture communication of the Písek city in years 2010-2011

The thesis titled "Cultural communication of the Písek city in years 2010 - 2011" deals with the Písek city as a product on market and also deals with communication activities which were presented by the city in years 2010 - 2011. The aim of this dissertation is to give a comprehensive picture of these activities and the position of the Písek city in tourism in South Bohemia region. The thesis is divided in five main chapters including the conclusion. At first this thesis deals with a theoretical part where the general information is described. In the first chapters it analyses history, cultural heritage, celebrities, cultural events and interesting places. Then there is a chapter that focuses on the marketing part, promotion of the city. How the city tries to profile in its region and which communication channels uses. The third chapter of this thesis evaluates the status of marketing communication in selected year 2010 - 2011 and it also compares this status with the contemporary one from the year 2011 until now. In this part is also used the SWOT analysis which helps us to determinate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and possible threats of the city.
