The heat build-up of tap-off units of busbar trunking system in relationship to their surfacing.
Forejtník, Jan ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Foral, Štěpán (advisor)
This study is dedicated to the effect of surface modification on lid warming of busbar trunking system BD2 which is manufactured by Siemens company in Mohelnice town (CZ). By using experimental methods, it investigates heat transfer by radiation and natural convection. It evaluates which type of surface modification is more effective by transfer heat. This study uses a method of emisivity comparison and a procedure given in standards for heat up test afterwards. It led to recognition, that various colour shades used on busbar system have similar high emissivity. Smooth colour spraying transfers heat a bit more effectively than rough colour spraying. Outputs of supplementary measurements give basis for numerical simulations in SolidWorks software. Numerical analysis assists to interpret results, for example by sensitivity study of heat transfer depending on emissivity.

Non-contact temperature measurement
Negrová, Stefania ; Merenus, Ondřej (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with non-contact temperature measurement, which is currently used for thermodiagnostics and prediction of temperature behavior of machines. In the thesis is described a basic overview of contact and non-contact methods of temperature determination. It focuses primarily on thermography and its uses for machine tools and includes two simple and clear measurements use of thermocamera.
Using the infrared camera in the measuring technique
Bayer, Robert ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with contactless methods of measuring a temperature and give the reader an idea of it. Next goal is to master the working with IR visual display terminal FLUKE Ti55FT (and program equipment SmartView) a describe it to the reader too. Last goal is to translate the booklet "Introdution to Thermography Principles", published by FLUKE company, which will be enclosed in electronic form to the thesis in the appendix.
Temperature measurement of an asynchronous motor
Bartoň, Petr ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
In this thesis there are described methods which are used in order to measure a temperature in electric machines. Whereas there is an influence of magnetic field and mechanical effects in the electric machines it is possible to use only limited number of methods for measuring temperature. These methods can be divided into two basic groups. The first group is being called "contact measurement" and while the second one is "non-contact measurement". Contact measurements are performed by usage of resistant sensors or thermocouples. On the other hand, non-contact measurements are performed by pyrometers and thermal imager cameras. Theoretical values of warming are determined by the FEMM which operates on the basis of the finite element method. In the practical part there are compared several methods whereby asynchronous engine was measured at various loads. Measured values are compared with theoretical values.
IR thermometer
Petrucha, Martin ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This project is focusing to non-contact temperature measurement with using a knowledge about emmision in infrared spektrum using a battery powerred measurment device. The part of project is introdution of possibilities non-contact temperature measurement, introdusing with a basic types infrared sensors and subsequent design non-contact thermometer.
Temperature measurement in electric machines
Halfar, Ivo ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis Temperature measurement in electric machines deals with beginning and exuding of the heat of electric motors and measuring of the temperature. The temperature is one of the most important values in diagnostic. High temperature could damage an isolation and it could tend to destroy of the whole machine. The temperature influences their magnetic properties on motors with permanent magnets. If you reach the Curie temperature it could come to its demagnetisation. Measuring of the temperature is important to verify allowable warming of motor or more precisely its spooling. The measuring of the temperature is needed for making motors with minimum of charges and its worth at the end. We could use two methods for measuring the temperature. It is contact and noncontact method. Warming and decomposition of the temperatures it is possible to appoint also with help of theoretic computations which are getting of the method of final elements. A lot of computer programs is using this method. Because of the existence of many sorts of electric motors, one of the viewpoints is the principle of working, another one is the construction. I concentrate on problems of asynchronous motors. In this bachelors thesis I have done theoretical calculation and contact and noncontact method of measuring of warming of the asynchronous motor.
Monitoring of hazardous environment
Bilík, Martin ; Blecha, Radim (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis Monitoring of hazardous environment deals with possibilities of construction of monitoring device for the nuclear power station Temelín. In the first part are accurate requirements for monitoring device, individual risks and identify obstacles and opportunities how to overcome them. There is also description of basic options for measuring temperature and environmental monitoring. Using multi-criteria analysis was done the selection of all components, from which is possibility to construct the first development release of monitoring device. 3D models for each component and the overall design visualization facilities were created in the programming environment of Autodesk Inventor. The conclusion provides an overview of the financial cost of the equipment is assembled
