ANALYSIS OF FIRM CULTURE OF CHOOSEN COMPANY

The goal of this final thesis is to develop a methodology to diagnose the corporate culture and to verify it in a selected company in order to propose a management program to change the corporate culture. The object of this research is LARM a.s. company. 71 respondents were examined. To understand the corporate culture I have used the questionnaire research. The corporate culture of this company was found out not to be strong enough. The reasons are as the following ones: insufficient communication within the company, unsatisfactory work environment, and the lack of motivation from the management side. To enhance the culture I would recommend to use human resources more proactively and to increase the work environment and corporate communication.
Cooperation of teams and joint leisure time of employees

The diploma thesis Cooperation of Teams and Joint Leisure Time of Employees deals with relation between frequency of involvement of individuals in cooperation of teams and their evaluation of the cooperation, information sharing and spending leisure time with colleagues. In the theoretical part, the theme is put into the broader framework of culture. The main areas affecting the problem are defined further. Emphasis is put on corporate culture, organizational climate and social relations between individuals in a company. In the empirical part of the text, the research question is described, the main hypothesis is set, the operational hypotheses are derived, the operationalization is performed, and the company and its teams that are subject of the research are presented. Subsequently, all processes and their relation being subject of the research are theoretically anchored and described based on the data analysis. In the concluding part of the text, there is an overview of mutual sympathy, ties and antipathy of members of the studied teams as well as it is found out to what extent the data analysis confirms the hypotheses determined. This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of the company culture in a specific company. In this bachelor thesis is focus putt on description and classification of company culture. This topic is discussed in numerous books which are used in order to establish the theoretical basis of the thesis. The theoretical part describes company culture and also is concentrates on its relationship with a proper functioning of the working organization in a dynamically variable market environment. Quantitative analysis and qualitative research constitute the main instruments for the analysis of the company culture. On the basis of the accumulated data, is managed to identify the current condition of the company culture in the working organization, and to circumscribe the measures to amend the deficiency. Company Culture Aspects in View of Christian Ethics

The subject of the thesis "Aspects of corporate culture from the viewpoint of Christian ethics" is to analyze the phenomenon of corporate culture in the perspective of Christian ethics and the requirements of sustainable development as the basic prerequisite for sustainable development of life on Earth. An integral part of the research is to explore the terms under which employees are willing not only to meet the tasks set by their employers, but also provide their best abilities and skills for the good of their enterprise. "Learning organization", Christian ethics in the organization and the principles of sustainability are the three discourses which are involved. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge about corporate culture and its meaning, its specific type of "learning organization", Christian ethics and especially the Catholic morality applied in terms of business administration while respecting sustainability for quality of life and the environment. Company culture in selected companies

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse corporate culture in selected companies and to propose changes that will help them to reach desirable cultural dimensions of the knowledge economy. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first one is devoted to the theoretical background and the second one to the practical part. The content of the first part is literary research, which consists of basic knowledge about company culture and related subjects. The second part is dedicated to an analysis of company cultures in selected companies. The data for this research was obtained by the VSM 94 & 2013, TBSD test, observation and unstructured interviews with the employees, which were used to help us fully understand this problematic. Results of each method in cultural dimensions were compared and final results determined in which cultural dimensions they have problematic areas. At the end of the thesis, proposals that will lead the companies towards desirable knowledge economy were made.

The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical, analytical and proposal part. The main tool for data collection was a questionnaire survey. The last part of the bachelor thesis is focused on concrete suggestions that should help to streamline the recruitment process.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Corporate Culture Management. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the current and preffered state of corporate culture and to evaluate its management. Based on the results, suggestions are presented in order to improve the current corporate culture. The state of corporate culture was analysed by the OCAI method, developed by authors R. Quinn and K. Cameron. Information about the management of corporate culture was obtained by interviewing the company management and the head of the HR department.
Corporate Culture and Personnel Activities in a Selected Business

The topic of this diploma thesis is Corporate Culture and Personnel Activities in a Selected Business. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the corporate culture with the help of specification of its crucial cultural dimensions in connection with the personal activities and proposing changes leading to the desired state in the selected business. The research was carried out at the company of an engineer Jan Hutkay. The thesis is divided into four main parts - literary research, aim and methodology of work, characteristics of the current state in the business and discussion, summarized evaluation and proposals for changes. Literary research is focused on explanation of important terms related to corporate culture and personnel activities. It is followed by the summarization of the aim of the work and the research methods. Quantitative research methods used in the work included the questionnaire survey in the form of the Personnel Activity Questionnaire and the VSM 94 a 2013 tests. Among the qualitative methods used for the purposes of the thesis belong observations, unstructured interviews and Color Semantic Differential Tests were used from qualitative methods. The current situation in the company was characterized by the analysis of the individual questionnaires, which was supplemented with the information obtained through interviews and observations. After a thorough analysis and interconnection of the results of all research methods, it has been found out that corporate culture tends to deserve the dimensions of low power distance, femininity, collectivism, and acceptance of risks and changes. The undesirable resultant dimensions include the short-term business orientation and the dimension of indulgence. The final part of the thesis focuses on designing measures that stabilize the desired cultural dimensions and, above all, change the undesirable cultural dimensions. The results of the personnel activities' questionnaire which identified the main shortcomings and problems were used to suggest specific changes. The introduction of the proposed changes directs the enterprise closer to the knowledge economy, which improves its performance and competitiveness.
Corporate culture as a factor of functionality

This diploma thesis deals with the characteristic of the corporate culture of the chosen enterprise. Specifically, the thesis focuses on the desirable state of the corporate culture. In the methodology, the criterion of desirable functionality of corporate culture is determined according to the cultural dimensions by G. Hofstede. This criterion requires an enterprise to operate on bases of knowledge economy with focus on new innovative approaches and competitiveness. The data was obtained through three conducted investigations. The first two were closest to the questionnaire survey. The first one was called the "Questionnaire - The Power of Corporate Culture" and the other one was called Values Survey Module 2013 (VSM 2013). The third research was quantitative with qualitative elements - Colour Semantic Differential Test. Finally, changes that can help to move to the entirely desirable state of enterprise culture are proposed.
