Changes of education and communication at high schools due to school information systems

This bachelor thesis is focused on mapping the changes in teaching and communication among the school, pupils and parents in lower secondary schools due to the situation associated with COVID-19. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the analysis of various means of communication (classical and online) among the school, the pupils and his parents. The content of this part of the work is a description and comparison of school information systems. The practical part of the work consists of qualitative research, which is based on indepth interviews with teachers of selected lower secondary schools and with the parents of pupils who attend these schools. As part of the research, I dealt with the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning for communication among school, pupils and parents. Mainly, I tried to identify the obstacles that prevent the school, pupils and parents from communicating effectively. And also I tried to identify how the coronavirus pandemic changed communication among them, both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Discharge of parental responsibility

The exercise of parental responsibility is the sum total of the rights and obligations of both parents to care for a minor child. This topic bears the name of the former legislation (1998-2014). The current legislation mentions the term "parental responsibility", therefore both terms will appear here, due to the use of mostly current sources. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe and introduce the issue of parental responsibility to the reader as clearly as possible. This thesis is purely theoretical and is largely based on a content analysis from professional sources, drawing mainly on statutes and current case law that deal with parental responsibility. This thesis should provide clear and transparent information for practice, which can be used by those interested in this topic or serve as study material for other students. The thesis is organized into five major chapters. The first chapter deals with parental responsibility itself, its history and its bearers. The second chapter describes the various interferences with parental responsibility, their legal regulation and the possibilities how to defend oneself in such a case. In addition to this chapter, a statistical overview of final court decisions on the suspension, limitation, removal and restoration of parental responsibility has been drawn up. The options for custody and access to a minor child are described in Chapter 3, where three basic forms of custody are also defined. In the next chapter, the different positions of institutions regarding the care of minors are elaborated. The fifth and last chapter deals with the Cochem model and its possibilities of incorporation into practice in the Czech Republic.

The death of a pet by the eyes of preschoolers and their parents

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of death of domestic animals from the perspective of preschool children and their parents. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of animals in the lives of children, briefly presents the development of how children understand death and the specifics of their mourning. Finally, there are stated ways how we can help them overcome the grief of when their animal dies. The aim of the practical part is to map out the experiences and attitudes of parents and their children with the issue of death of domestic animals. Within the qualitative research, semi-structured in-depth interviews with six parents and their children were used. These interviews mainly concerned the children's reaction to the death of a pet, the parents' attitude to death and the way children interpret the death of their pet. It turned out that it is very difficult for the parents to explain the topic of death to the children. Parents shouldn't be afraid to talk to children, answer their questions and, above all, show them by example how to cope with difficult life situations.

Art education online and at home? The role of parents in art education during distance learning.

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of parents in art education during distance learning. In the theoretical part of the thesis, supported by literature and internet sources, it looks at the topic from different angles. The first half of the theoretical part deals with the role of the parent in art education in general. The second part of the thesis maps the situation regarding distance learning. The subject of art education is treated in the thesis with a particular focus on the second level of primary school, as this is the age group concerned by the research probe that is the content of the empirical part of the thesis. The didactic part of the thesis focuses on projects that arose from the situation of the COVID- 19 pandemic and the subsequent closure of schools. It describes the projects of each institution and the institution itself and mentions some of their accompanying programmes. It also elaborates on the artworks of specific artists related to the central theme of the thesis. The author uses the projects and works studied to create her own didactic proposal, which is also part of the didactic part of the thesis. Teacher's cooperation with the family in primary school

This diploma thesis deals with the complete issue of the cooperation and communication among the tripartite: teacher- parent- pupil in primary school. The theoretical part characterizes the institution of the family and the school, describes their relations and an influence of a child when speaking of the society development and its point of view of a child education. It deals with the support of child's keys development (the ability to communicate, to learn, to solve problem situations and to self-evaluate). It offers the point of view of two-way anticipation parent- teacher and their mutual roles. The current new forms of pedagogical communication constitute an integral part of the Diploma thesis - the author deals in detail with important differences in both types of consultations: personal and on-line forms, evaluates their effectivity and difficulties for all involved side. The aim of the thesis is to define content of various aspects of parenthood as they are currently perceived and treated in the legal order of the Czech Republic. The theme is reflected in the work with regard to its historical legal developments, including the reflection of the current Czech legislation. Mentioned is also legislation in terms of international law. It often represents the direction of Czech legislation. The main idea of the domestic legislation parenthood child's interest and the protection of basic human rights. The child is seen as a specific body of legal rules with all its peculiarities and increased need for legal protection with regard to their position in society. The practical part contains the Czech translation of the introduction and the first three chapters of the Spanish parents' guide to autism Un niño con autismo en la familia, Guía básica para familias que han recibido un diagnóstico de autismo para su hijo o hija. The book published by The Institute on Community Integration (INICO) deals with difficulties of the inner acceptation of the diagnosis and provides basic information on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The theoretical part includes the translation commentary where the aplied translation procedures, translation problems encoutered while translating and their solutions are discussed on the basis of the translation analysis of the original text.
