Somrová, Karolína ; Štichauer, Pavel (advisor) ; Špaček, Jiří (referee)
(in English): The aim of this thesis is to theoretically describe the Italian and Czech passive voice constructions and consequently analyse the translations of the Italian passive voice into the Czech language. The results will be displayed in graphs and tables showing the various ways how the passive voice was translated into the Czech language. The empirical part contains also the comments on the various translation methods.

Finally, it analyses 200 instances of the periphrastic passive in each of the previously mentioned functional styles and it focuses on the means of its translation into Czech.
