Teoretická část práce se věnuje obecně problematice minulého kondicionálu ve francouzštině. Na základě stěžejních francouzských gramatik a rovněž učebnic francouzštiny definuje základní typy fungování tohoto slovesného tvaru ve francouzštině. Dále shrnuje charakteristiku daného jevu v češtině. V další, empirické části práce je jev analyzován na základě jazykového materiálu získaného z paralelního korpusu InterCorp. Jev je analyzován nejprve z hlediska frekvence a následně ve světle jeho ekvivalentů v češtině. Theoretical part of this work generally deals with past conditional in French. Basic types of function of past conditional in French are defined using fundamental French grammar books and French textbooks. Furthermore, work resumes characteristic of this phenomenon in Czech language. In the following empirical part the phenomenon is analysed using lingual material gained from the parallel corpus InterCorp. The phenomenon is analysed in perspective of frequency and subsequently in the context of its equivalents in Czech.
