Cost Analysis of a building

The diploma thesis purpose is to choose optimal structure of the modernisation of slab block flat roof, according to building life cycle coast minimalisation. Based on the theoretical knowledge, the design of the stack was made in different phases and based on the building life cycle cost, considering the decreasing value of money over time. The selection of the optimal solution followed, taking account the specific conditions of the given scope of realization and the specific object. The choice is justified by the related analysis of key items.

Optimization of recycled concrete materials from precast concrete elements and their characteristics for building information model

The dissertation thesis deals with the use of recycled concrete aggregates obtained from deconstructed parts of a precast panels’ apartment building. Furthermore, the work presents an optimization supplier-logistics algorithm to achieve a wider application of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) in structural concrete in a new building. As part of the newly developed optimization algorithm of ready-mixed concrete suppliers, non-graphical data from the building information model (BIM) were intensively used. The work also addresses the transfer of data from and back to the information model and the definition of characteristics needed to optimize the entire process. At the theoretical level, the work deals with a comprehensive literature review of the above-mentioned fields. The experimental part of the work is focused on materials research carried out in order to verify the suitability of a particular type of RAC for structural use. The work introduces the procedures and test results of two types of recycled aggregates and then presents a range of recycled concrete recipes with partial replacement of aggregates for RCAs, obtained from prefabricated panels of high-rise buildings. The gained test results show the technical suitability of the tested RCA sources for producing medium-strength structural RAC. A significant part of the analytically oriented experimental part of the work is the logistic optimization scenario with its own matrix-based discrete algorithm and economic graphical evaluation. The case study examines the relevance of the proposed algorithm on a real scenario, namely the construction of the scientific technology institute CEITEC in Brno. Furthermore, the work summarizes the issue of BIM and presents a methodology for handling non-graphical information of the building model to define the characteristics of recycled concrete in buildings. Development of Construction of Residential Properties in Tišnov

The Master’s thesis deals with the development of construction of residential properties and housing estate in the locality of Tišnov. The thesis describes the particular historical building periods in Tišnov. In shows the historical development, changing and growing on the town. Some chapters describe the current status of building activities and the possible future development of this area in the residental properties. The main purpose of the thesis is to get the detailed summary of the construction of residental properties in the elected lokality from the very beginning to these days. All results the research are displayed in the overwiew map, the individual period sof building development in the town of Tišnov are distinquish with colors.

Design of ventilation system in residental spaces

This bachelor thesis deals with design of a ventilation system with recuperation in a chosen flat. The introductory chapter focuses on research of recuperation units and their parts. In the second chapter the required amount of ventilation air is determined, and three recuperation units are selected. In the third chapter the pipeline system is designed for the selected units, which is subjected to a control calculation of pressure losses. The last chapter compares the costs of implementation and operation of selected units.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the revitalization of the Brno Kamenný vrch area with architecture parasitizing on the open gables of prefabricated houses. The first part of the thesis contains analyzes of the territory and conclusions obtained from them. The theory is followed by the concept of the project, which is the design of a cultural house. Details are discussed in the urban and architectural design. The construction part clarifies the design by describing the construction and construction details.

Construction of prefabricated residential houses in the 1970s with emphasis on the construction of "Severní město" in Prague

The present thesis called The Construction of Prefabricated Residential Houses in the 1970s With Emphasis On The Construction of Severní Město in Prague focuses on the specifics of the conception and realization of the residential districts in the northern part of Prague. It describes the political and social background of the period when these districts were emerging and the atmosphere and workflow in the architecture studios in the 70s as well as the relationship with investors and building companies. The next part focuses on the individual quarters of Severní Město - Prosek, Ďáblice and Bohnice. It outlines the historical, geographical and urbanistic context of the place, including the architectural and town planning competitions for these areas. The part dealing with the realization and the current state of these residential districts compares and contrasts the individual quarters, points out their unique characteristics and approaches them in a broader context.
